Description

Board for the production of welding protection screens
The present invention relates to a panel for the production of welding protection screens, consisting of a mass of transparent plastic, an ultraviolet radiation absorber being colored in the mass, and an infrared absorber.
The invention is characterized in that the infrared absorber consists of soot mixed into the plastic compound.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is produced in the following way:
3000 g acetyl cellulose (acetic acid content about 52-55 o / o),
200 g dimethyl phthalate,
250 g triphenyl phosphate
550 g of trichloroethyl phosphate are in a kneader with the necessary amount of a solvent, such as. B. acetone or an alcohol benzene mixture, homogenized. Then 16 g of a commercially available UV absorber, z. B. based on acetophenone, 19.8 g carbon black, z. B. special black and 0.84 g of a soluble green dye, e.g. B. filter blue-green added. The mass is rolled in a manner known per se and drawn into skins. The skins are then welded into a block and sheets of a certain thickness are cut from this. The panels are dried and polished in a platen press under pressure and heat.
The polished panels comply with DIN regulations 4646 and 4647 on welding protection washers. Depending on the cut wall thickness, the different protection levels are achieved.
The UV conditions are met with the help of the commercially available UV absorber, the ultrared conditions by the added carbon black. The green dye is only used to produce a visually pleasant shade.
PATENT CLAIM

SUBCLAIMS
1. Table according to claim, characterized in that the plastic compound contains 0.5 parts by weight of black carbon by weight.
2. Panel according to claim, characterized in that the transparent plastic panels consist of secondary cellulose acetate with 52 to 550/0 acetic acid in the ester.
3. Board according to claim, characterized in that it contains a plasticizer.
