Vorrichtung zum Umformen einer Verpackung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Umformen einer mit fliessfähigem Füllgut gefüllten kissenförmigen Packung in Quaderform und ist gekennzeichnet durch relativ zueinander bewegliche Formteile, welche aus einer entfernteren Stellung, von allen Seiten auf die Packung einwirkend, in eine die Quaderform definierende Stellung bewegbar sind.
Eine sehr einfache Ausbildung ergibt sich, wenn man an die vier Kanten einer rechteckigen Bodenplatte gelenkig angesetzte Klappen und eine parallel zur Bodenplatte bewegliche Deckplatte verwendet.
An den Klappen können schwenkbare Steuerfinger angeordnet sein, welche durch eine gemeinsame Steuerplatte oder durch gelenkig angesetzte Laschen betätigt werden.
Die Klappen können an den Seitenkanten mit schräg abstehenden Fahnen versehen sein, die sich jeweils an die Fahnen der benachbarten Klappen anlegen.
Es ist bekannt, quaderförmige Packungen aus Schlauch abschnitten herzustellen, indem die Wände der Schlauchabschnitte durch spreizbare Keile voneinander gelöst und dem Schlauchabschnitt dadurch ein rechteckiger Querschnitt gegeben wird. Darauf wird der Boden gebildet und verschweisst, der entstandene Beutel gefüllt und darauf verschlossen.
Bekannt ist auch das kontinuierliche Füllen eines sich auf dem Füllrohr bildenden und daran ablaufenden Schlauches, der darauf in Packungen von Kissenform abgeteilt und auseinandergeschnitten wird. Diese Kissen lassen sich jedoch schlecht in grössere Behälter verpacken, sie sind sperrig und insbesondere bei grösserem Inhalt unbeliebt.
Es hat sich aber gezeigt, dass die Kissenform leicht in eine Quaderform umgewandelt werden kann.
Inhalt und Oberfläche des Beutels können vor und nach dem Verformen gleich bleiben.
Zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens wird die Vorrichtung nach der Erfindung vorgeschlagen. Ein Ausführungsbeispiel dieser Vorrichtung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt. Es zeigt:

Eine rechteckige Bodenplatte 1 ist an ihren Kanten mit Scharnieren 2 versehen, an denen Klappen 3, 4 angebracht sind. Der Halter 5 der Bodenplatte 1 ist als Führung für die Steuerplatte 6 ausgebildet, unter welche Steuerfinger 7 der Klappen 3, 4 fassen.
Durch Absenken der durch eine Hülse auf den Halter 5 geführten Steuerplatte 6 werden die Klappen 3, 4 einwärts geschwenkt.
Die Klappen 3, 4 sind an den Seitenkanten mit schräg angesetzten Fahnen 8, 9 versehen, die sich jeweils an die Fahnen der benachbarten Klappe 3, 4 anlegen, wenn diese einwärts geschwenkt werden.
Über der Bodenplatte 1 und parallel dazu ist eine Deckplatte 10 angeordnet, welche sich in Richtung auf die Bodenplatte 1 in der Führung 11 senken lässt.
Zur Verformung wird die kissenförmige Verpackung 12 auf die Bodenplatte 1 gelegt. Dann wird die Deckplatte 10 auf das Kissen aufgesetzt. Darauf wird die Steuerplatte 6 herabgezogen, wodurch die Klappen 3, 4 gleichzeitig einwärts geschwenkt werden. Hierbei drückt die im Kissen 12 befindliche Flüssigkeit an die Wände der geschlossenen Form, die aus der Bodenplatte 1, den Klappen 3, 4 und der Deckplatte 10 gebildet wird. Die Schweissnähte an den Enden des Kissens werden an die Seiten des gebildeten Quaders angelegt. Die dabei entstehenden dreieckigen Endlappen legen sich zwischen die Fahnen der Klappen; die darin befindliche Flüssigkeit wird bei diesem Vorgang in die Packung gedrückt.
Die Fahnen bilden zweckmässig mit den Klappen einen Winkel von 450.
Die Erfindung ist an die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Ausführung nicht gebunden. An die Stelle der Klappen können auch Stempel treten, die translatorisch zusammengeschoben werden. Die dreieckigen Endlappen werden anschliessend oder auch gleich in der Form verschweisst. Der Winkel, unter dem die dreieckigen Endlappen beim Formen stehen, kann von 0 bis 900 beliebig gewählt werden.
Die Deckelplatte kann durch ein federndes Zwischenglied oder ein Gewicht belastet sein, um den bei der Verformung auftretenden Innendruck in konstanten und kontrollierbaren Grenzen zu halten. An die Stelle der Steuerplatte zum Schwenken der Klappen können Laschen treten, welche mit den Steuerfingern und der auf dem Halter beweglichen Hülse gelenkig verbunden sind. Das Schwenken der Klappen erfolgt hierbei durch eine entgegengesetzte Bewegung der Steuerhülse.
Device for forming a package
The invention relates to a device for reshaping a pillow-shaped pack filled with flowable filling material in a cuboid shape and is characterized by relatively movable molded parts which can be moved from a more distant position, acting on the pack from all sides, into a position defining the cuboid shape.
A very simple design is obtained if hinged flaps are used on the four edges of a rectangular base plate and a cover plate movable parallel to the base plate.
Pivotable control fingers, which are actuated by a common control plate or by hinged tabs, can be arranged on the flaps.
The flaps can be provided on the side edges with obliquely protruding flags, which each rest against the flags of the adjacent flaps.
It is known to produce cuboid packs from hose sections by detaching the walls of the hose sections from one another by expandable wedges and thereby giving the hose section a rectangular cross section. The bottom is then formed and welded, the resulting bag is filled and then sealed.
Also known is the continuous filling of a hose which forms on the filling pipe and runs off it, which is then divided into packs of pillow form and cut apart. However, these pillows are difficult to pack in larger containers, they are bulky and especially unpopular with larger contents.
However, it has been shown that the pillow shape can easily be converted into a cuboid shape.
The contents and surface of the bag can remain the same before and after deformation.
The device according to the invention is proposed for carrying out this method. An embodiment of this device is shown in the drawing. It shows:

A rectangular base plate 1 is provided at its edges with hinges 2, on which flaps 3, 4 are attached. The holder 5 of the base plate 1 is designed as a guide for the control plate 6, under which control fingers 7 of the flaps 3, 4 grasp.
By lowering the control plate 6 guided through a sleeve onto the holder 5, the flaps 3, 4 are pivoted inward.
The flaps 3, 4 are provided on the side edges with obliquely attached flags 8, 9, which each rest against the flags of the adjacent flap 3, 4 when these are pivoted inward.
A cover plate 10, which can be lowered in the direction of the base plate 1 in the guide 11, is arranged above the base plate 1 and parallel thereto.
For deformation, the pillow-shaped packaging 12 is placed on the base plate 1. Then the cover plate 10 is placed on the cushion. Then the control plate 6 is pulled down, whereby the flaps 3, 4 are pivoted inward at the same time. The liquid in the cushion 12 presses against the walls of the closed mold, which is formed from the base plate 1, the flaps 3, 4 and the cover plate 10. The weld seams at the ends of the cushion are placed on the sides of the cuboid that has been formed. The resulting triangular end flaps lie between the flaps of the flaps; the liquid contained therein is pressed into the pack during this process.
The flags usefully form an angle of 450 with the flaps.
The invention is not bound to the embodiment shown in the drawing. Instead of the flaps, stamps can also be used, which are pushed together in translation. The triangular end tabs are then welded in the form or also immediately. The angle at which the triangular end tabs stand during molding can be selected from 0 to 900.
The cover plate can be loaded by a resilient intermediate member or a weight in order to keep the internal pressure occurring during the deformation within constant and controllable limits. Instead of the control plate for pivoting the flaps, tabs can be used which are articulated to the control fingers and the sleeve that is movable on the holder. The flaps are pivoted by moving the control sleeve in the opposite direction.
