Fig. 1 ist ein Schnitt durch die erfindungsgemässe Doppelkupplung; Film. 2, 2a zeigt in Ansicht und im Querschnitt die Anpressplatte für die zwischen Motor und Wechsel getriebe geschaltete Kupplung; Fig. 3, 3a zeigt in Ansicht und Querschnitt die An- pressplatte für die zweite Kupplung zum Einschalten der Zapfwelle oder dgl.; Fig. 4 zeigt die in der zweiten Kupplung befind liche Kupplungsscheibe;
(Vgl. Fig. 3, 3a.)
Friction clutch for motor vehicles The invention relates to a friction clutch for motor vehicles, with at least one clutch disc loaded by a Tel lerfeder, at least one pressure plate, and engagement and disengagement levers that cooperate with an axially displaceable pressure bearing.
It has been shown that with the known clutches, caused by the constantly increasing stresses in the motor vehicle, the service life of the clutch drops sharply and the wear on the friction rings of the clutch disks and their pressure plates becomes excessively high. This is especially true for the double clutches used in tractors, equipment carriers, construction machines or the like. Special vehicles, as these are used in ever-increasing numbers for the most diverse work, for example, in front-loading operations in agriculture.
With the increased use of Doppelkupplun conditions, they have to be operated frequently, which releases considerable amounts of frictional heat, wel che can only be insufficiently dissipated with the known clutch assemblies. In order to absorb the large amount of frictional heat that falls, attempts have been made in the known clutches to achieve a better heat absorption capacity and thereby lead to the frictional heat from the friction surfaces.
However, the increase in the cost of materials leads to a larger dimensioning of the coupling parts and thus of the entire coupling, which leads to an increased installation space and makes the production of the coupling more expensive.
The invention is intended to create a friction clutch for motor vehicles which, without increasing the dimensions of the individual clutch parts, has a significantly improved heat dissipation, whereby a significant increase in the wear resistance of the clutch is achieved. Since the coupling according to the invention should at the same time be simple in structure and of minimal height.
According to the invention, the friction clutch of the type mentioned at the beginning is characterized in that ventilation blades and inlet openings for an air flow directed towards the inner parts of the clutch are assigned to the clutch disk.
Advantageously, the friction clutch can be designed as a double friction clutch, in which the one friction clutch can be arranged on the flywheel and can be in a coupling connection with the gearbox and in the case of the fejrner a second friction clutch can be provided for a further, independent drive, such as a PTO drive. The clutch disc arranged on the transmission side can have ventilation blades pointing in the direction of rotation. In an advantageously simple embodiment of such a coupling, the ventilation blades can be bent out of the coupling disc itself.
Due to the design of the coupling described, a forced air flow for cooling the coupling parts is constantly generated during their rotation. The arrangement can also be designed in such a way that the cooling air flow that is formed can flow continuously and unhindered past the most important heat-affected coupling parts and, after absorbing heat, can exit the coupling by the shortest route.
In order to enable such an unhindered and free flow of the generated cooling air through the clutch, passage openings for the forced air flow can be seen between the plate spring and the pressure plate. Such passage openings can be formed in a simple and preferred manner by interrupting the contact points of the plate spring on the pressure plate.
A further significant simplification can result in a double friction clutch if the two pressure plates of the double clutch, for example, are only acted upon by a single, common plate spring.
In such a double clutch with only a single plate spring applying the spring force for both clutches, a preferred simple structural design can be characterized in that the inner and outer ring-shaped support of the plate spring on the pressure plates are spaced apart from the raised support lugs can be formed, wherein the free inter mediate spaces can form through openings for the forced cooling air.
In order to improve the unimpeded passage of cooling air, the common plate spring for the two pressure plates can be provided with passage openings for the forced cooling air flow, which are preferably formed in a simple manner by the fact that the plate spring is provided with radially protruding tongues and with these radial tongues the support tunnel is supported.
The plate spring itself can be fixed in its position, for example by at least one axial pin, to prevent it from slipping off the support studs. In addition, it is advisable to provide evenly distributed air inlet and outlet openings in the bell housing of the double coupling.
The friction clutch has the advantage that, without increasing the structural dimensions of the clutch, a flow of cooling air sufficient to cool the clutch parts is constantly generated, which acts on the entire interior of the clutch and thus the most important heat-absorbing individual parts of the clutch and thus directly and constantly the resulting frictional heat leads away.
This is particularly advantageous if, in the case of a double friction clutch, both pressure plates are acted upon by the continuous flow of air and the frictional heat flowing into these pressure plates is immediately dissipated.
By significantly lowering the temperature on these pressure plates, the wear of the clutch lining of the clutch disks is reduced and, above all, it is avoided that cracks form in the friction surfaces of the pressure plates themselves.
Another advantage can be that the clutch housing, which represents the connection between the motor and transmission housing, can be made even without the usual openings, since the forced ventilation means that additional ventilation of the clutch from the outside is unnecessary and thus the ingress of Dirt, dust, oil, etc.
is avoided by these usual openings in the clutch housing directly in the clutch, whereby the wear of the clutch parts, in particular the friction linings, is further reduced. At the same time, a favorable cooling of the disc spring is sufficient, so that it remains free of the damaging heat build-up and therefore the spring tension of the disc spring is not adversely reduced.
The object of the invention is shown in the drawing tion using an embodiment.
1 is a section through the double clutch according to the invention; Movie. 2, 2a shows a view and in cross section of the pressure plate for the clutch connected between the engine and the change gear; 3, 3a shows a view and cross section of the pressure plate for the second clutch for engaging the power take-off shaft or the like; Fig. 4 shows the clutch disc located in the second clutch;
Fig. 5 shows a partial section of the single plate spring arranged between the two pressure plates of the clutches.
On the flywheel 1 of the engine, which is only partially shown in the drawing, the Ge housing bell 2 is attached, which includes the drive clutch A between the engine and gearbox and the PTO shaft clutch B such that a self-contained unit is formed. The clutch disc 3 of the driving clutch with the friction linings 4, 5 acts with its friction surface directly on the counter friction surface 6 of the flywheel 1 of the engine. The clutch disk 7 of the power take-off shaft clutch with friction linings 8, 9 acts with its friction surface on a corresponding friction surface 10 of the bell housing 2.
The clutch disc 3 is fastened to the hub 12 by means of rivets 11, which are seated axially displaceably on the output shaft 13 by means of splines.
The clutch disc 7 is in turn fastened by means of Nie th 14 to the hub 15, which is also axially displaceable by splines on the hollow shaft 16 connected to the PTO shaft. The splined teeth seen between the hubs 12 and 15 and the shafts 13 and 16 represent an anti-rotation device for the clutch disks 3 and 7, but at the same time enables their axial displacement.
Two pressure plates 17 and 18 are arranged between the two clutch disks 3, 7. Both pressure plates 17, 18 are pressed against their associated clutch disks 3 and 7 by the tension of a single plate spring 19. The pressure plate 17 is shown in detail in FIGS. 2, 2a and the pressure plate 18 in FIGS. 3, 3a.
Both pressure plates 17, 18 are guided by three or more cams 20, 20a, 20b or 21, 21a, 21b in correspondingly attached axially located slots in the bell housing 2. The guidance of the two pressure plates 17, 18 can be provided either in the same slots in the bell housing 2 or in separately arranged slots in the bell housing 2. By guiding the pressure plates 17 and 18 by means of the cams 20 and 21 in corresponding slots of the bell housing 2, the pressure plates are secured against rotation in the circumferential direction, while they are movable in the axial direction.
The actuation of the clutch, that is, the coupling and uncoupling, takes place via two sets of levers, which are designated by 22, 23 in FIG. The lever set 22 consists of the tie rod 22a and the associated actuation lever 22b, while the lever set 23 consists of the arm 23a and the actuating lever 23b. At least three of each lever set 22 and 23 are alternately offset over the circumference of the coupling.
The angular distance between levers 22 and 23 with the same effect is therefore preferably 120 each, while it is preferably 60 between neighboring lever sets, that is between a lever set of group 22 and a lever set of group 23. The lever set 22 is used to disengage the drive clutch, while the lever set 23 is provided to disengage the PTO clutch.
In this case, the drive clutch lying on the flywheel with the tension elements 22a and the PTO shaft coupling lying on the bell housing 2 with pressure elements 23a is moved axially by lever action.
The clutches A and B can also be arranged in such a way that clutch B on the gearbox side is used to shift the travel gear, and clutch A on the engine side is used for the auxiliary drive.
It is also easily possible to operate both clutches A, B with a single set of levers, in which case, however, both clutches can no longer be operated independently of one another, but have to be switched one after the other. The actuating levers 22b and 23b of the lever sets 22 and 23 are correspondingly assigned axially displaceable release bearings 24 and 25.
According to the invention, the clutch disc 7 of the power take-off shaft clutch B, which is arranged on the transmission side, is provided with ventilation blades 26, which are arranged in the direction of rotation and cause forced ventilation of the clutch inner parts. The ventilation blades 26 are associated with inlet openings 27 for the air flow directed to the inner parts of the clutch.
The ventilation blades 26 are bent out of the clutch disc 7 in a simple manner. By lying in the direction of rotation ventilation blades 26, a cooling air flow is generated according to the arrows 28, which intensively ventilates the two pressure plates 17 and 18 and the plate spring 19 and directly dissipates the frictional heat generated there.
For this purpose, the annular supports of the plate spring 19 on the inner and outer diam water of the plate spring are executed interrupted. This is done in a simple manner by arranging a large number of bearing studs lying close to one another as a bearing for the outer and inner edge of the plate spring 19.
The support studs are located on the outer ring of the disc spring at the pressure plate 17 - cf. 2, 2a - formed by hump-like studs 29 which are spaced apart and project from the plane of the pressure plate. In the pressure plate 18 corresponding support studs 30 are arranged in the area of the inner bearing surface of the plate spring 19.
(Cf. Fig. 3, 3a.) The raised support studs 29, 30 lying next to one another at a distance leave spaces free, so that the cooling air stream 28 can flow through these spaces 31, 32 on both sides of the plate spring 19. The arrangement of the support lugs 29, 30 has the further advantage that it results in less heat transfer from the pressure plates 17, 18 to the plate spring 19.
In order to increase the ventilation possibility and thus the passage for the cooling air stream 28 further, the plate spring 19 itself is provided with radially lying tongues 33. The spaces 34 formed by these tongues 33 result in a further possibility of ventilation of the plate spring. In addition, a plate spring slotted in this way has a favorable, namely elongated spring characteristic, which contributes to an enlargement of the wear area of the friction linings. The plate spring 19 with the tongues 33 and its outer position on the cleats 29 of the pressure plate 17 is shown in FIG.
In the bell housing 2 there are larger openings 35 distributed over the circumference, through which the cooling air flow 28 can exit unhindered. The inventive arrangement of a single plate spring 19 for pressing the two pressure plates 17 and 18 for both the drive clutch A and the PTO clutch B represents a considerable structural simplification, and the overall height of the clutch can also be reduced to a minimum .
The plate spring 19 is advantageously fixed in its position against rotation and against slipping of the spring tongues 33 from their support studs 30 by means of pins 36 which fit into bores 37 of the tongues 33.
