Prestressed concrete construction The subject of the invention is a prestressed concrete construction which is suitable for covering large areas, for example for warehouses, industrial buildings, exhibition halls and similar buildings.
The prestressed concrete construction according to the invention is characterized in that a prestressed hanging shell is arranged between an outer pressure ring supported by supports and an inner, lower lying, unsupported pull ring, which has radial tendons anchored in the pressure ring and pull ring, and in which the membrane tension is almost reached.
Such a construction on the one hand enables large areas to be covered without intermediate columns, since only the outer pressure ring is supported on supports; on the other hand, the construction principle according to the invention is very economical, which leads to great cost savings given the size of the objects in question.
The novel construction is manufactured according to the inventive method in such a way that first of all supports for the outer pressure ring and a central framework are created, that then the pressure ring is produced on the supports and the tension ring on the framework and the radial tendons are laid for the hanging shell and on the compression and tension ring, then the tension ring is pulled down against an anchorage by tensioning anchors, thereby prestressing the tendons, then concreting the hanging shell and finally loosening the tensioning anchors, pretensioning the shell and demonizing the central scaffolding is animalized.
The pressure ring of the hanging shell can have any curve shape with two mutually perpendicular axes of symmetry. He can z. B. be circular or elliptical.
With reference to the drawing, examples of the prestressed concrete structure according to the invention and the method for their production are described in detail in the following.
FIGS. 1 through 5 show important stages of the manufacturing process with the completed constructions in FIG.
6 and 7 give a top view in a schematic manner information about the section-wise concreting of pressure ring and pull ring.
8 and 9 show in the same way how the shell is concreted in sections and the joints in the tension ring are closed.
Figs. 10 to 13 are schematic examples of the application of the construction to various types of construction.
Fig. 14 shows the options for creating the actual hall floor plan with a circular pressure ring.
Fig. 15 shows the same possibilities with the formation of the pressure ring with an elliptical plan. 16 and 17 show different cross-sectional shapes of the pressure ring and the use of different formwork for concreting the hanging shell, and FIGS. 18 and 19 show two different embodiments of the pull ring.
In the manufacture of the construction according to the invention, a wreath of reinforced concrete supports 1 on foundations 2 is first created. A clamping body 3 is then created in the center of the future construction and the central framework 4 is arranged above it. The clamping body 3 can be designed as a solid reinforced concrete block; however, it can also be designed as a basement construction that may be required in the building. Connections 5 for tension anchors are concreted in the clamping body 3.
The frame 4 consists of steel or reinforced concrete pillars and an upper platform 6, on wel cher the pull ring 10 is made. The frame 4 carries this pull ring and part of the weight of the shell itself, without any significant deformations occurring.
The lowering device 7 is installed directly in the stage 6. Then the formwork and the steel reinforcement for the pull ring is installed and the pressure ring of the shell is scaffolded and shuttered in sections on the supports 1, the size of the sections to be selected 9 depending on the number of supports 1 selected (pendulum supports) . Now who the provisional and in sections the radial tendons 11 of the hanging shell to be produced in the formwork of the pressure ring 8 and on the steel parts of the pull ring 10 attached (Fig. 2). These tendons 11 consist of the high-quality prestressing steels commonly used in prestressed concrete construction (wires from 5 to 8 mm and rods of over 8 mm in diameter).
After the radial tendons 11 have been straightened, the pressure ring 8 is concreted in sections until it is closed (FIG. 6). The pull ring 10 is also concreted in sections in such a way that joints 12 are left open (FIG. 7).
The pull ring 10 can now be lowered using the lowering device 7 so that it hangs freely in the tensioning members 11. Now the tensioning anchor 13 (as shown in Fig. 3) can be installed. The tension ring 10 is then pulled down evenly by a large number of anchors 13, and the radial tensioning members 11 are tensioned to a desired pretension.
In this position, they will keep ge by immovable anchoring of the pull ring 10 by means of support device 14 (Figure 4). Formwork boards are attached to the radial tendons 11 and the hanging shell 15 is concreted in sections (as can be seen from FIG. 8) and after the hanging shell 15 has been completed and sufficiently hardened, the joints 12 of the pull ring 10 are also closed (FIG. 9 ).
The tensioning anchors 13 are now released and the support device 14 is removed so that the pressure ring 8 and the radial tensioning members 11 of the hanging shell are relieved or the concrete of the shell 15 and the tension ring 10 is pretensioned. The arrangement of the radial tendons 11 means that no bending moments from prestressing are introduced into the shell.
The tension by the anchors 13 can of course be selected so that the entire structure is fully pre-tensioned for the dead weight condition, or so that a full pre-tensioning or a limited pre-tensioning of the shell and tension ring is achieved for the load case dead weight plus distributed payload. 5 shows the finished load-bearing structure after the central structure 4 has been removed.
The pre-stressed concrete structure described can be used in a variety of ways, for example in halls with a grandstand-like installation (Fig. 10), as a hall with a central rope and outer ring, with the pivot point 16 of a rotary crane in the center of the hall (Fig. 11), or as an industrial hall with a work platform 17 attached to the pull ring 10 of the shell (FIG. 12).
Also conceivable are halls with extensions or with permanently installed ceiling structures that can be suspended from the pull ring 10 of the hanging shell by means of hanging supports. In Fig. 13 another design is shown in which several ceilings are arranged on top of each other as a hanging shell. This form could e.g. B. can be used for a car silo.
The chosen layout of the pressure ring and the choice of column arrangement do not yet determine the shape of the hall layout. This can be selected arbitrarily within certain limits, as shown in FIGS. 14 and 15. Fig. 14 shows how a square hall floor plan 18, a hexagonal hall floor plan 19 or a polygonal hall floor plan 20 is possible with a circular floor plan shape of pressure ring 8 and tension ring 10, and Fig. 15 shows a rectangular hall floor plan with an elliptical floor plan shape of pressure ring 8 and tension ring 10 21, a hexagonal hall floor plan 22 and a floor plan 23.
Once the shape of the pressure ring has been determined, the shape of the pull ring can be determined in such a way that no or only insignificant bending stresses arise in both rings.
The last FIGS. 16-19 show, on a larger scale, cross-sections through the pressure ring (FIGS. 16, 19) and tension ring (FIGS. 18, 19) and an adjoining part of the formwork. It is suspended from the tension members 11 and kept so slim that its inherent rigidity does not matter during assembly.
In the example of FIG. 17, however, a formwork 25 has been used, which remains firmly attached to the concrete of the hanging shell. This formwork 25 can, for. B. consist of sound-insulating panels. Fig. 18 shows a tension ring 10 with a reinforcement made of sheathed individual tendons 26 made of steel, to which the tendons 11 are attached, while according to Fig. 19 the tension ring 10 is reinforced with a bundle 27 of steel wires, to which the tendons 11 for the hanging shell 15 are also attached.
Instead of creating and concreting the hanging shell in sections, it can also be concreted in one pour or it can be assembled from precast elements.
