Fig. 1 zeigt die Abtriebswelle 1 des Antriebsag gregats 2.
15 an starren Trägern 16 bzw. 17 abgestützt. Einstellmuttern 12 bzw.
Electromotive drive for valves, slides or the like The invention relates to an electromotoric drive for valves, slides or derglei surfaces in which, when a certain normal torque is exceeded, a torque-transmitting transmission part, axially displaceable against a spring force, actuates limit switches and a Vorrich device when starting briefly allows a torque exceeding the normal torque to take effect.
In the case of an electromotive drive of slides, valves or the like, it is necessary that the drive is switched off when a certain torque is exceeded, so that in the event of a blockage by foreign bodies; getting stuck or similar faults, damage is avoided. Furthermore, the moving part of the shut-off element (valve disc, slide wedge) should be brought into the closing position with a certain limited torque so that the seal is guaranteed to be sealed.
After reaching the open or closed position, the drive should switch off automatically. These requirements can be met in that a gear part is provided in the power transmission path between the motor and the movable part of the shut-off element, which can be displaced against a spring force depending on the transmitted torque and when reaching a certain position in one and the other the other drive direction actuates a limit switch that stops the drive. The position is selected in such a way that it meets the desired final torque when closing or
corresponds to opening the shut-off device. The drive is therefore automatically switched off as soon as the moving part of the shut-off element is pressed against its stop with the desired end torque when it reaches its end position, or if this normal torque is exceeded for any reason during the movement of this part.
But now there is the further requirement that when the drive is started up, a significantly larger torque is effective for a short time so that the movable part of the shut-off element can be released from its seat. This solution torque could never be achieved with the arrangement described above, because the drive would already be stopped when the much lower normal torque is reached. A device must therefore be provided which, when starting up, allows the greater moment of release to take effect for a short time.
However, since it is possible that the larger release torque is not sufficient to loosen the drive, an additional protective device is desired to avoid destruction of the drive, which switches off the drive when the maximum permissible release torque is exceeded.
There are drives known, which result in all of the previously described effects. In a known arrangement of this type, control cams are connected to the axially displaceable transmission part, which actuate two two-pole changeover switches. More scarf ter are closed by the movable shut-off device in one or the other end position. The various switches are wired to one another and: to the contactors of the electric motor so that the desired torque limit occurs. However, this is bought at the expense of a relatively expensive and complicated structure.
No commercially available switches can be used; instead, special control cams and matching switches must be manufactured for each application. It should be noted that a structure that is as simple and reliable as possible is essential, especially for valve and slide drives, because they often have to work under very harsh operating conditions.
The aim of the invention is therefore to create a drive of the type specified above, which has a very simple and reliable structure in comparison to the known arrangements and which still meets all the requirements.
The drive according to the invention is characterized in that each limit switch can be adjusted as a whole in the actuating direction against a spring force exceeding its actuating force.
With this drive, each limit switch is actuated when the axially displaceable gear unit is displaced against the spring force in the relevant direction by a distance that corresponds to the permitted normal torque. Then the relevant limit switch switches off the drive in this direction. If, on the other hand, the greater release torque is to take effect, the entire limit switch can be moved against its spring force in the actuating direction so that the axially displaceable gear part can further compress the spring by a distance corresponding to the greater release torque.
A first embodiment of the invention consists in the fact that a switching device briefly bypasses the limit switch effective in the relevant drive direction when starting.
In this embodiment, the axially displaceable gear part pushes the relevant limit switch in front of it so that it can move beyond the position corresponding to the normal torque into the position corresponding to the release torque.
Another embodiment of the invention consists in the fact that the driven member is mechanically connected to each limit switch in such a way that when it reaches its end position, it adjusts the limit switch effective in the opposite direction in its actuation direction by such a distance that it is only removed from the axially displaceable transmission part is actuated when the release torque is exceeded.
A major advantage of both embodiments is that simple encapsulated circuit breakers can be used as limit switches, for example commercially available microswitches.
The invention is explained with reference to the drawing for play. 1 shows a view of the transmission with the end switches in the first embodiment, FIG. 2 shows a schematic circuit diagram for the first embodiment and FIG. 3 shows a schematic representation of a second embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows the output shaft 1 of the drive unit 2. On this drive shaft, a helically toothed pinion 3 is rotatably mounted, but axially displaceable. The pinion meshes with a helically toothed gear 4 on the spindle 5, which actuates the movable part of the shut-off element and can be designed to rise or not. The pinion 3 is held in the central position by springs 6 and 7, which are supported against regulating nuts 8 and 9, respectively, when the arrangement is at a standstill.
During operation, an axial force component arises as a result of the transmitted torque on the inclined tooth flanks, which seeks to move the pinion 3 against the force of the spring 6 or against the force of the spring 7, depending on the drive direction. The pinion 3 then assumes a position that depends on the size of the transmitted torque. Appropriate pre-tensioning of the springs ensures that the axial movement of the pinion only begins when a certain torque value is exceeded.
Limit switches 10 and 11 are arranged on both sides of the pinion 3. These limit switches are not rigidly attached to the gear housing, but are supported by springs 14 and 15 on rigid supports 16 and 17, respectively. Adjusting nuts 12 and 13 allow the spring force to be adjusted. The springs are set in such a way that they only allow the switch to move at a force that exceeds the force required to actuate the switch.
The switches 10 and 11 are actuated by switching arms 19 and 20, respectively, which protrude into the path of the pinion 3 in such a way that they are detected by the latter when the pinion moves a certain distance in the relevant direction. The switch 10 is therefore actuated when a certain torque is exceeded in the one direction of rotation (which corresponds, for example, to the closing of the shut-off element), the magnitude of which is determined by the force of the spring 6. In a corresponding manner, the switch 11 is actuated when a certain torque is exceeded when opening the locking member from the force of the spring 7.
It can be seen that the limit switches 10 and 11 can be simple, commercially available off switches, for example so-called microswitches. The described operation does not depend on the structure of the switch, but on their installation by means of the springs 13, 14, the nuts 12, 13 and the carrier 16, 17 from.
The connection of the limit switches 10 and 11 is shown in FIG. As an example, it is assumed that the spindle 5 is connected directly to the wedge 21 of a gate valve 22 and is designed to rise. It is also assumed that the pinion 3 moves upwards when the slide wedge 21 is lowered and downwards when it is lifted.
The limit switch 10 is in the excitation circuit of the lowering effecting contactor 23, while the switch 11 is in the circuit of the contactor 24, which turns on the drive unit 2 in the lifting direction.
The switches 10 and 11 are designed so that they are normally closed and are opened when they are actuated. In the excitation circuit of the contactor 23 is a manual switch 25 in series with the switch 10, which is used to switch on the closing movement of the slide 22. A corresponding switch 26 is in the excitation circuit of the contactor 24 and enables the opening movement of the slide to be switched on.
A further switch 27 is located parallel to the switch 10 and a switch 28 is located parallel to the switch 11. These switches are arranged so that they are normally open. A link 29 connected to the spindle 5 closes the switch 27 shortly before the uppermost limit position of the slide wedge 21 is reached. It will open again shortly after the slide wedge 21 has left the upper limit position in the downward movement.
In a corresponding manner, the switch 28 is closed shortly before the slide wedge 21 has reached the lower limit position, and it opens again shortly after the slide wedge has left the lower limit position. As long as the switches 27 and 28 are closed, the limit switches 10 and 11 are bridged and therefore ineffective.
The described arrangement has the following mode of operation: It is assumed that the slide wedge 21 is in the upper limit position shown and is to be closed. By closing the switch 25 located in the circuit of the lowering contactor 23, this contactor is energized so that the drive unit 2 begins to rotate in the lowering direction. At the beginning of this movement, the switch 27 is closed, so that the limit switch 10 is bridged over; shortly after leaving the uppermost position of the slide wedge 21, the switch 27 opens, so that the circuit of the contactor 23 is only maintained by the normally closed limit switch 10.
As long as the lowering movement of the slide wedge 21 takes place normally, the required drive torque is so low that the tickle 3 does not move upwards against the tension of the spring 6: If, on the other hand, the slide wedge 21 encounters an obstacle that inhibits its further downward movement, it increases the moment of resistance, and the tickle 3 begins to move when a certain torque is exceeded against the force of the spring 6 upwards.
When the permissible normal torque is reached, the tickle pushes against the switching arm of the limit switch 10, which opens it. As a result, the circuit of the contactor 23 is interrupted and the contactor drops out, so that the drive unit is shut down. If necessary, the circuit of the lifting contactor 24 can then be closed by closing the switch 26, so that the slide wedge 21 is raised again.
If, on the other hand, the slide wedge 21 can continue its downward movement unhindered to the lower limit position, the switch 28 is closed shortly before this limit position is reached. Shortly thereafter, the slide wedge 21 hits the lower stop, whereby it is stopped. As the drive torque increases again; and the tickle 3 moves up. As soon as the permissible normal torque is reached, the limit switch 10 is actuated again and the drive is stopped.
Since it is achieved that the slide 22 with a certain closing moment. is closed, which is determined by the setting of the spring 6 and corresponds to the permissible N normal torque. This ensures a tight closure of the slide in the closed position.
When the slide is to be opened again, the manual switch 26 of the helicopter 24 is actuated. It is now assumed that the slide wedge 21 has seized up somewhat, so that a torque is required for loosening which is greater than the permissible normal torque. The tickle 3 will therefore move downward against the force of the spring 7 and actuate the limit switch 11. This actuation of the limit switch 11 remains without effect because the switch is bridged by the switch 28 which is still closed.
The drive is not switched off in spite of the actuation of the switch 11, and the torque continues to increase. The tickle 3 be therefore moves even further down and takes the entire limit switch 11 with it, which it moves against the force of the spring 15. As soon as the slide wedge 21 is loosened and its upward movement begins, the torque drops to the normal drive torque, and the tickle 3 returns to its central position.
The switch 11 is released again and closes. Shortly after leaving the end position of the slide wedge 21, the switch 28 opens so that the limit switch 11 can take over its normal monitoring function. If an obstacle occurs during the upward movement of the slide wedge 21 or the slide wedge reaches its upper stop, the tickle 3 actuates the limit switch 11 and thereby stops the drive.
In order to avoid the destruction of the system if the slide wedge 21 does not move even with the large moment of release; Further limit switches can be provided that either - are actuated by the tickle 3 when a position corresponding to the maximum release moment is reached, or through the housing of the limit switches 10 and 11, respectively, when they are pushed a certain distance ver. In the game Ausführungsbei shown in Fig. 2, the switches 27 and 28 are actuated by a member 29 dependent on the position of the slide wedge 21.
Instead, a timer could also be provided which, after switching on the drive unit, keeps the relevant switch 27 or 28 closed for a short time.
In FIG. 3 another embodiment is shown, which makes switches 27 and 28 as well as the attachment of additional limit switches for limiting the moment of release superfluous. A prerequisite for this is that the spindle 5 is designed as a rising spindle, which is not absolutely necessary in the arrangement of FIG.
The scarf ter 10 and 11 are connected with schematically indicated Ku lissen 30 and 31, which cooperate with stops 32 and 33 on the spindle 5 respectively. The gate 30 is detected by the stop 32 shortly before the slide wedge 21 reaches its upper limit position. This backdrop then takes the limit switch 10 with it against the force of the spring 14 for a short distance.
This has the consequence that the pinion 3 has to move a greater distance against the force of the spring 6 before it can actuate the limit switch 10. This means that the limit switch 10 only responds with a greater torque in the Senkrich device.
This larger torque corresponds to the maximum permissible loosening torque. As soon as the slide wedge 21 has left the upper limit position, the switch 10 returns to its normal position, so that it interrupts the circuit of the contactor 23 as soon as the permissible normal torque is reached.
In the same way, the stop 33 works together with the link 31 when the lower limit position of the slide wedge 21 is reached.
