Dispositif de réglage de l'ébat axial de l'axe d'un balancier par déformation élastique du coq Il est important pour la bonne marche du balan- cier que l'on règle exactement l'ébat en hauteur de son axe, dans ses paliers. Pendant longtemps, on l'a fait en modifiant, à la main, légèrement la distance entre l'extrémité libre de la planche du coq et la platine. Puis, comme il s'agissait là d'une opération exigeant une grande habileté manuelle, on a eu l'idée de changer cette hauteur mécaniquement.
A cet effet, on a, par exemple, pratiqué dans la planche du coq des languettes portant le palier du balancier et sur lesquelles on pouvait agir par des vis. On a eu aussi l'idée de donner au coq la forme d'une pièce en U à branches horizontales, légèrement élastiques, de façon qu'on pouvait en varier la distance. La présente invention résout ce problème mais par des moyens plus simples.
Elle est caractérisée par un support monté sur la platine, près de l'extrémité libre du coq, et par deux éléments que présentent, l'un, ladite extrémité et, l'autre, le support, et dont l'un est une gorge et l'autre une vis à tête engagée librement dans la gorge, le tout, afin qu'en agissant sur la vis, on puisse modifier la hauteur de l'extrémité libre du coq. Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention la fig. 1 en est une vue en plan, et la fig. 2, une coupe par I-I de la fig. 1.
Dans ces figures, 1 est la platine, 2 le coq fixé à cette platine par une seule vis 3 et 2a la planche du coq, 4 est le pont d'ancre et 6, la vis fixant ce dernier à la platine ; cette vis présente une gorge circulaire 6a dans laquelle est engagée la tête 7a, largement débordante, d'une vis 7 montée dans la planche du coq et présentant à son extrémité, un carré 7b pour sa manoeuvre. La tête 7a de la vis est engagée librement dans la gorge 6a ; elle maintient en place l'extrémité libre de la planche du coq et l'empêche de fléchir lors d'un choc.
D'autre part, en tournant la vis dans un sens ou dans l'autre, de façon que sa tête vienne prendre appui sur l'une ou l'autre des deux parois horizon- tales de la gorge 6a, on déplace l'extrémité de la planche 2a en l'éloignant ou en la rapprochant de la platine ce qui permet d'augmenter ou de diminuer avec précision le jeu axial du balancier.
En variante, la vis 6 pourrait être remplacée par un autre support ; la tête de la vis de réglage 7 pourrait être disposée au-dessus de la planche 2a du coq ; enfin la gorge 6a pourrait se trouver sur cette planche, la vis de réglage 7 étant alors montée sur la platine.

Then, as this was an operation requiring great manual skill, we had the idea of changing this height mechanically.

We also had the idea of giving the rooster the shape of a U-shaped piece with horizontal, slightly elastic branches, so that the distance could be varied. The present invention solves this problem, but by simpler means.
It is characterized by a support mounted on the plate, near the free end of the cock, and by two elements that have, one, said end and, the other, the support, and one of which is a groove and the other a head screw engaged freely in the groove, the whole so that by acting on the screw, one can modify the height of the free end of the cock. The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention, FIG. 1 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 2, a section through I-I of FIG. 1.
In these figures, 1 is the plate, 2 the cock fixed to this plate by a single screw 3 and 2a the cock board, 4 is the anchor bridge and 6, the screw fixing the latter to the plate; this screw has a circular groove 6a in which is engaged the head 7a, largely protruding, of a screw 7 mounted in the board of the rooster and having at its end, a square 7b for its operation. The head 7a of the screw is freely engaged in the groove 6a; it holds the free end of the rooster's board in place and prevents it from flexing on impact.
On the other hand, by turning the screw in one direction or the other, so that its head comes to rest on one or the other of the two horizontal walls of the groove 6a, the end is moved. of the board 2a by moving it away from or by bringing it closer to the plate, which makes it possible to increase or decrease with precision the axial play of the balance.
As a variant, the screw 6 could be replaced by another support; the head of the adjustment screw 7 could be placed above the board 2a of the rooster; finally the groove 6a could be on this board, the adjusting screw 7 then being mounted on the plate.
