Fig. 2 zeigt die Anord nung des Endschalters 38.
Device for moving a mold table up and down and a mold of a continuous casting machine connected to the mold table The invention relates to a device for moving a mold table up and down and a mold of a continuous casting machine connected to the mold table, in which the downward movement is against the force of Springs can be controlled by means of a cam and the upward movement takes place by relieving pressure on the springs.
In order to avoid local excessive heat stress on the mold wall and to achieve easier sliding of the strand, the continuous casting molds are given a movement to and fro in the direction of the strand.
For this purpose, it is customary to connect the mold to a mold table and to arrange the moving elements on this. These known movement elements consist of rods articulated on the chill table in the direction of the strand and of cams which act on rollers fixed in the connecting rod and control the up and down movement of the chill table. The downward movement takes place against the force of springs which move the killing table back into its upper position when the pressure is released.
The cooling zone adjoining the mold table of considerable length makes it necessary to arrange the drive elements for the cams below and to the side of the cooling zone. The power transmission from the drive motor to the cam disks takes place via multiple angular drives, or double-armed levers are switched on between the cam disks and the connecting rods. The length of the cooling zone is decisive for the dimensioning of the connecting rods.
The latter must be longer than the cooling zone, which leads to structurally unfavorable conditions. Due to the mechanical power transmission by means of angular gears and curve venscheiben, which must be completely identical to each other, on the long connecting rods, shocks occur that can damage the thin and sensitive crust of the strand forming on the mold wall. In addition, the device requires a considerable amount of space.
The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the defects inherent in the device described above with a simplified, space-saving device. Furthermore, the possibility of movement control is aimed at, which takes into account the requirements of continuous casting. The control should also be controllable so that the device can be adapted to changed conditions. The device should ultimately work safely and be easy to manufacture and use.
The invention consists in that at least two piston rods of pistons guided in working cylinders are connected to the mold table, which can be acted upon via a pressure line by a piston guided in a main cylinder, the driven cam controlling the path of the piston guided in the main cylinder.
Through the invention, the essential advantages are smooth, smooth movement and space-saving arrangement, because the Arbeitszylin can be arranged relatively close under the mold table and therefore only require short piston rods. The main cylinder can be accommodated according to the respective spatial conditions. The supply lines to the working cylinders can be routed through the cooling zone without hindrance. Since only one cam is required to control the sequence of movements, there is no further source of error, which is normally found in the control with two cams.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the invention. 2 shows the arrangement of the limit switch 38.
1 with the continuous casting mold is referred to, in wel che in the direction of arrow la a liquid metal can be poured. About halfway up the mold 1, bracket 2 are screwed on the one hand with the Ko kille 1 and on the other hand with supports 3. The supports 3 are firmly connected to the mold table 4. The mold table 4 is guided in one of the main stage of the continuous casting machine not provided on the associated guide body 5 in the direction of the strand 12, which emerges from the mold 1 downwards. The guide body 5 is provided with slide rails 6.
Piston rods 7 of two or more pistons 8, which are guided in working cylinders 9, are attached to the mold table 4. The piston rods 7 carry compression springs 10, which are supported against the stationary working cylinder 9 and via Kon termuttern 11, with the help of which the tension of the springs 10 can be adjusted, against the piston rods 7. The strand 12 emerging from the mold 1 is cooled in a cooling zone extending into the mold table 4. Cooling water is used as the coolant,
which is fed to nozzles 14 via feed lines 13. To simplify the drawing, however, the upper nozzles are not shown. Fixed guide rollers 15 support the strand 12, which is only solidified in its edge zones, on all sides, while driven, likewise stationary transport rollers 16, 16a, 16b, 16c lower the fully solidified strand 12. The transport rollers 16 are driven by an electric motor 46, on the axis of which there is a pinion which drives a gear 47 which is firmly seated on the axis of the transport roller 16b.
The gear 47 meshes with a gear 47a, which is firmly seated on the axis of the transport roller 16c, and with a stationary intermediate pinion 48, which in turn drives a gear 47b which is firmly seated on the axis of the transport roller 16. The gear 47b also meshes with the gear 47c, which is firmly seated on the axis of the transport roller 16a . The transport roller denoted by 16a is connected via a bevel gear 17 and a shaft 18 to a multi-stage or continuously variable transmission 19, which in turn is coupled to a shaft 22 via a shaft 20 and a bevel gear 21. The shaft 22 carries a cam plate 23 which acts on a piston rod 25 via a roller 24.
The piston 26 belonging to the piston rod 25 is guided in a master cylinder 27. Via a line 28 and a valve 29, the main cylinder 27 is connected to a high pressure container 30 and is filled with pressurized oil by this. The high pressure vessel 30 is fed by a charge pump 31 ge. A line 32 connects the master cylinder 27 with the working cylinders 9. All cylinders can be water-cooled and are surrounded by pipe coils 33 in the embodiment, for example. The NEN the cooling coils 33 of the working cylinder 9 both for self-cooling and for shielding the heat radiating from the strand 12.
All cylinders are provided with venting ports, but their representation has been omitted for the sake of clarity.
Any leakage oil leaking from the cylinders is fed from the master cylinder 27 via line 34 to the charge pump 31, while 9 return lines 35 are provided on the working cylinders.
The device works according to the following we act: The driven by the transport roller 16 a via the gear 19 cam 23 moves the piston 26 of the main cylinder 27 filled with pressurized oil upward. In this case, the pressure exerted on the pressurized oil propagates via line 32 to the working cylinder 9 and moves the working piston 8 downwards. By coupling the piston rods 7 with the mold table 4 also move this and the mold 1 connected to it ent against the force of the springs 10 in the direction of the strand 12 downwards.
With decreasing radius of action acting on the piston rod 25 cure venscheibe 23 and thus descending main piston 26, the working piston 8 are relieved and moved back by the force of the springs 10 of the mold table 4 and the mold 1 in their upper end position. If the liquid column enclosed between the working piston 8 and main piston 26 is shortened due to leakage oil losses, the springs 10 try to move the mold table 4 beyond its upper end position.
An adjustable stop pin 36 attached to the upper end of the mold table 4 touches a contact pin 37 of a limit switch 38 attached to the guide body 5 opposite. A time relay 39 picks up the pulse and in turn actuates an electromagnetic switching element 40, for example a lifting magnet, which opens the Valve 29 and thus overflow of the pressure oil from the high pressure tank 30 to the master cylinder 27 causes. The downward movement of the mold table 4, which is synchronized with the strand 12, should not be influenced by the filling of the hydraulic system.
Therefore, the timing relay 39 stores the pulse generated when the mold table 4 moves upwards and only allows the switching element 40 to open the valve 39 on the next upstroke, so that the filling takes place only in the upward movement of the mold table 4 and without any effect on the strand 12 .
The entire oil hydraulic system of the device works with large pipe cross-sections and low pressures.
The sequence of movements of the mold table 4 can be varied by coupling the piston rod 25 with various cam disks. For this purpose, the cam plate 23 is either replaceably attached to the shaft 22 or the shaft 22 carries several cam discs axially one behind the other and is axially displaceable and thereby optionally each of the cam discs on the piston rod 25 can be brought into action. The number of revolutions of the cams is accordingly variable by the gear 19.
The sequence of movements of the mold table 4 can also be influenced by choosing the main cylinder 27 of different sizes while the cam plate 23 remains the same. It would be practical to provide several individually or in groups with the Arbeitszylin countries 8 to be connected master cylinder.
