Pistol for low recoil ammunition The present invention relates to a pistol for firing low recoil ammunition.
So-called blind ammunition can be used as ammunition for such pistols. These can be pistols that are only used to generate bangs, pistols with which an ignition process is initiated, or pistols for firing gas cartridges.
Since such ammunition generates no recoil or only a very insignificant recoil when fired, an automatically reloading weapon for such ammunition must be designed differently than a conventional repeating pistol or a similar weapon that is reloaded by the recoil.
The subject of the invention is a pistol for firing low-recoil ammunition, with a locking cylinder loaded by a locking spring, non-rotatable in its housing, axially displaceable, with a firing pin and a sleeve extraction claw at its front end, and with a spring-loaded sleeve ejector.
The pistol is characterized in that the trigger device is connected to an organ, by means of which, when the trigger device is actuated, the locking cylinder counteracts the force of the closing spring from the cartridge chamber in order to enable the removal of a piece of ammunition or an empty case pulled by the extractor from the cartridge chamber and insertion of a new piece of ammunition is withdrawn, this organ being designed and guided in such a way that it releases the locking cylinder at the end of the retraction movement,
so that it is thrown against the chamber by the closing spring.
As an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a flame thrower ignition pistol shown in the drawing is described below. In the drawing: FIG. 1 is a longitudinal section through this pistol, FIG. 2 is a section along the line 11-II of FIG. 1, but the cartridge, slide and spring are drawn in a view; FIG. 3 is a section along the line III-III of FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 is a representation corresponding to FIG. 3, but in which the locking cylinder assumes a different position.
The ignition pistol designated by 1 has a housing 2 to which a section 4 is screwed with the aid of a union nut 3. The section 4 contains the barrel bore 4a which narrows conically towards the front and the cartridge chamber 4b. The axially displaceable locking cylinder 8 and the spring guide sleeve 9 are located in the housing 2, the latter being connected to the housing 2 by a pin 5 so that it is secured against rotation and displacement.
The closing spring 11 is clamped between the collar 9a of the guide sleeve 9 and the guide sleeve 10 resting on the locking cylinder 8. One end of the ejector spring 12 is supported on an inner edge 9b of the guide sleeve 9, the other end of which is supported on the piston 13 arranged at one end of the ejector rod 14. At the other end of the ejector rod 14, the nut 15 is screwed so that the rod can be moved to the right against the force of the spring 12. The piston 13 has an annular groove 13a with which an extension 16a of the sleeve ejector 16 engages.
The ejector 16 is mounted displaceably in a longitudinal groove 8 a of the locking cylinder 8. The locking cylinder 8 also has a
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Bore 8b connected to this groove for the piston 13, a recess 8c for the sleeve extractor 18, which has a sleeve extraction claw 18a, a striker 8d and a longitudinal groove 8e. In the recess 8c is accommodated the extractor 18, which can be pivoted about its axis 17 and which passes through. the extension spring 19 is held in the position shown.
A shoulder 20a of the return rod 20 protrudes into the longitudinal groove 8e and thus secures the locking cylinder 8 against any rotation, while a nose 20b lies in a recess 8f of the locking cylinder 8. The return rod 20 is articulated to the trigger lever 22 by a pin 21 and is pressed against the locking cylinder 8 by a spring-loaded pin 23. The trigger lever 22 is pivoted about its axis of rotation 25 against the force of the trigger spring 24 when it is fired.
In the housing 2, an ammunition magazine is inserted, the walls of which are designated by 26 and the bottom by 27. It contains a slide 29 which is loaded by the magazine spring 28 and which pushes the topmost cartridge 30 (only one cartridge is shown in the magazine in the figure) against the locking cylinder 8.
In the housing 2 there is a pin, designated 31, which is designed to come into engagement with the sliding surface 20c of the return rod 20 when this rod is withdrawn, as will be described below.
The housing 2 has an ejection opening 2a through which the empty cartridge case can be ejected.
1 shows the ignition pistol after the cartridge 32 has been fired. To fire the cartridge 30, the trigger lever 22 is pressed against the force of the spring 24 against the pistol grip 2 b, which forms part of the housing 2. The return rod 20, which is articulated to the trigger lever 22, pulls the locking cylinder 8 back against the force of the locking spring 11, since its nose 20b lies in the recess 8f of the locking cylinder 8.
The extractor 18 accommodated in the locking cylinder 8 pulls the empty cartridge case 32 back from the chamber 4b, as can be seen particularly well in FIG. 3, so that it comes to rest over the part 16b of the ejector 16 and on its edge 16c bumps into. When it is withdrawn further, it pushes the ejector 16 back against the force of the ejector spring 12 until it is completely out of the area of the cartridge chamber.
As soon as it is no longer guided through the chamber, it is thrown out by the spring-loaded ejector 16 through the ejection opening 2a, as can be seen from FIG. When the locking cylinder 8 is retracted further, its front end comes to rest behind the rear edge of the cartridge 30, so that the cartridge slide 29, which is loaded by the magazine spring 28, pushes it upwards in the magazine into the displacement path of the locking cylinder.
When the return rod 20 is withdrawn further, its sliding surface 20c comes into engagement with the pin 31, as a result of which it is pulled down so far that its nose 20b is pulled out of the area of the recess 8f, but remains in the area of the groove 8e. This releases the locking cylinder in the direction of displacement, but remains secured against rotation. With its lower edge it pushes the cartridge 30 out of the magazine into the cartridge chamber 4b. The extractor 18 engages in the groove of the cartridge case, and the striker 8d, which is firmly connected to the locking cylinder 8, ignites the cartridge.
Since such an ignition cartridge exerts practically no recoil, the weapon does not groove.
With the pistol described above, a shot can be triggered each time the trigger is pressed without having to perform any reloading movement.
