Appareil pour l'introduction de produits médicamenteux dans des cavités que présentent certains organes d'êtres vivants
La présente invention a pour objet un appareil pour l'introduction de produits médicamenteux sous forme de pommade, émulsion, etc., dans des cavités que présentent certains organes d'êtres vivants, comprenant un récipient pour ledit produit médicamenteux et un dispositif de prise dudit récipient permettant l'expulsion de son contenu.
Cet appareil est caractérisé en ce que ledit récipient est un tube dont une extrémité est munie d'un bouchon qui s'y engage entièrement et d'organes permettant de l'adapter de façon amovible audit dispositif qui comprend une douille munie d'organes destinés à entrer en prise avec lesdits organes de ladite extrémité du tube, et montée rigidement et coaxialement à l'extrémité d'un organe tubulaire muni, à son autre extrémité, d'organes de préhension et traversé axialement par une tige coulissant à l'intérieur dudit organe tubulaire, et surmontée, à son extrémité aboutissant dans ladite douille, d'un piston, tandis que son autre extrémité est munie d'un bouton, le tout de façon qu'en exerçant une pression sur ledit bouton,
le piston déplace ledit bouchon en direction axiale à l'intérieur du tube de manière à expulser le produit médicamenteux qu'il contient par son extrémité libre.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention.

La fig. 2 en est une vue en coupe axiale partielle représentant le récipient de produit médicamenteux avant son montage dans l'ensemble de l'appareil.
Le récipient A (fig. 1 et 2) est formé d'un corps cylindrique suffisamment rigide qui va en se rétrécissant vers une extrémité de façon à se terminer par un goulot C (fig. 1 et 2) pour la sortie de la pommade, tandis que l'autre extrémité est munie d'un bouchon amovible E (fig. 1 et 2). Les deux extrémités du récipient sont filetées extérieurement pour pouvoir être fermées respectivement par un capuchon
D (fig. 2) et par un fond F (fig. 2) de façon à garantir la parfaite fermeture du tube.
Le dispositif de prise et d'expulsion est au contraire formé: 1) d'un tube cylindrique H (fig. 1), muni d'une coupe G (fig. 1) pour la prise du récipient A et de deux oreillettes M (fig. 1) où l'opérateur introduit deux doigts pour faciliter l'expulsion de la pommade; 2) d'une tige I (fig. 1) coulissant dans le tube H, munie d'un piston L (fig. 1) qui permet de déplacer le bouchon E pour l'expulsion de la pommade contenue en A, lorsqu'on exerce une pression sur un bouton N (fig. 1) monté sur l'extrémité libre de la tige I. Il est facile maintenant de comprendre comment on procède pour employer l'appareil décrit.
Le récipient A libéré du capuchon D et du fond
F est vissé dans la coupe G du dispositif de prise et, après avoir appliqué la sonde O sur le goulot C, on presse sur le bouton N jusqu'à la sortie complète de la pommade dans la cavité à soigner, en s'aidant, bien entendu, des oreillettes M.
Le tube H et la tige I peuvent également être flexibles pour mieux s'adapter à la cavité à soigner.
Le dispositif de prise, décrit jusqu'ici, peut être remplacé par une coupe avec deux encoches opposées à angle droit et dans un tel cas, le récipient de vra présenter, au lieu du pas de vis B, deux saillies radiales de façon que, introduites dans les encoches de la coupe et une fois parcouru leur tracé rectiligne, elles puissent être introduites dans les tracés courbes et trouver ainsi une fixation sûre.
Le récipient A peut également être ancré au dispositif de prise en l'insérant latéralement dans une coupe divisée diamétralement en deux parties, dont une fixe et l'autre à charnière et bloquable sur la première. La coupe devra présenter une saillie interne pour empêcher le récipient de glisser vers l'extérieur, celui-ci étant également muni d'une saillie correspondante.
Le récipient avec dispositif de prise et d'expulsion décrit ci-dessus a donc pour but d'introduire des pommades et matières semblables dans des cavités, communiquant avec l'extérieur, d'organes animaux en général. Lesdites pommades et matières semblables, introduites dans un but prophylactique, curatif ou autre, sont renfermées dans un tube (récipient) rigide formé de matériel plastique ou métallique, parfaitement fermé jusqu'au moment de l'emploi et qui se prête, après avoir enlevé deux pièces de protection, à être pris, à une extrémité, par un dispositif qui expulsera le contenu du tube à travers l'extrémité restée libre à laquelle aura été fixée une sonde. Toutes les opérations peuvent se faire d'une façon parfaitement aseptique.
Un autre avantage de l'appareil décrit en obstétrique et en gynécologie vétérinaires réside dans la possibilité d'administrer des médicaments aussi bien en surface qu'en profondeur, comme, par exemple, dans le vagin, l'utérus, la vessie, l'urètre et les mamelles.
D'autres avantages très utiles sont représentés par le fait de pouvoir administrer des médicaments avec des sondes de formes et dimensions différentes suivant l'organe à soigner, et de pouvoir agir à distance de l'animal et en position commode et prudente.

The receptacle A (fig. 1 and 2) is formed of a sufficiently rigid cylindrical body which tapers towards one end so as to end with a neck C (fig. 1 and 2) for the ointment outlet, while the other end is fitted with a removable plug E (fig. 1 and 2). The two ends of the container are externally threaded so that they can be closed respectively by a cap
D (fig. 2) and by a bottom F (fig. 2) so as to guarantee perfect closure of the tube.
On the contrary, the gripping and expulsion device is formed: 1) of a cylindrical tube H (fig. 1), provided with a section G (fig. 1) for gripping the receptacle A and two atria M ( fig. 1) where the operator introduces two fingers to facilitate the expulsion of the ointment; 2) a rod I (fig. 1) sliding in the tube H, fitted with a piston L (fig. 1) which allows the stopper E to be moved for the expulsion of the ointment contained in A, when exert pressure on a button N (fig. 1) mounted on the free end of the rod I. It is now easy to understand how one proceeds to use the apparatus described.

F is screwed into the section G of the gripping device and, after having applied the probe O to the neck C, the button N is pressed until the ointment has completely come out into the cavity to be treated, with the help of each other, of course, M.
The H tube and the I rod can also be flexible to better adapt to the cavity to be treated.
The gripping device, described so far, can be replaced by a cut with two notches opposite at right angles and in such a case, the receptacle has, instead of the screw thread B, two radial projections so that, introduced into the notches of the cut and once traversed their rectilinear path, they can be introduced into the curved paths and thus find a secure fixation.
The receptacle A can also be anchored to the gripping device by inserting it laterally into a cut divided diametrically into two parts, one of which is fixed and the other hinged and can be locked on the first. The cup should have an internal protrusion to prevent the container from sliding outwards, which also has a corresponding protrusion.
The object of the receptacle with a gripping and expelling device described above is therefore to introduce ointments and similar materials into cavities, communicating with the outside, of animal organs in general. Said ointments and similar materials, introduced for prophylactic, curative or other purposes, are enclosed in a rigid tube (container) formed of plastic or metal material, perfectly closed until the moment of use and which is ready, after removing two pieces of protection, to be taken at one end by a device which will expel the contents of the tube through the end which has remained free to which a probe has been attached. All the operations can be done in a perfectly aseptic way.
Another advantage of the apparatus described in veterinary obstetrics and gynecology lies in the possibility of administering drugs both on the surface and in depth, such as, for example, in the vagina, uterus, bladder, urethra and udders.
Other very useful advantages are represented by the fact of being able to administer medicaments with probes of different shapes and sizes depending on the organ to be treated, and of being able to act at a distance from the animal and in a convenient and careful position.
