EMI0001.0003
Es <SEP> sind <SEP> bereits <SEP> elektrolytische <SEP> Wasserzer setzer <SEP> (Elektrolyseure) <SEP> der <SEP> Filterpressbauart
<tb> bekanntgeworden, <SEP> deren <SEP> Zellenrahmen <SEP> aus
<tb> isolierendem <SEP> Kunststoff <SEP> oder <SEP> Pressmasse <SEP> her ;
<SEP> gestellt <SEP> sind. <SEP> Bei <SEP> diesen <SEP> bekannten <SEP> Bauarten
<tb> zwei <SEP> benachbarten <SEP> Zellenrahmen <SEP> angeordnet

9 accumulating electrolyte - as indicated by dotted lines - leads through openings 1.1 in the frame web 15 in the last cell frame into the chamber 5 or 6 Ge and enters the electrolyte return 1.7 again at the opposite end of the electrolyzer by means of a pipe connection 16. The external pipe connection 16 makes it possible to supply the anolyte or catholyte emerging from the chambers 5 or 6 separately or mixed to the return channels 17.
The gases accumulating in the chambers 8 and 9 are - as can be seen from Fig. 1 (thin line dotted lines) - also passed through the openings 14 of the web 1.5 of the last Zel lenrahmens in the chamber 5 and 6, where they sweep over the electrolyte and enter the chambers 10 and 11 through corresponding openings 18 in the web 15 of the first cell and are discharged from there on the other linden tree. In the chambers 10 and 11, the gases can be cooled by built-in cooling systems of known type.
For filling and emptying the cells with electrolyte, recesses 19 are provided in the lower part of the cell frame 1 which, when the cell frames are assembled, add a continuous channel. Each of these recesses 19 is connected to the interior of the cell by channel-like indentations In order to avoid leakage currents flowing through these channels, a tube 20 made of non-conductive material is rotatably arranged within the channel and has longitudinal openings 21. By rotating the tube 20 it is possible, depending on the position of the openings 21, to connect the interior of the cell to the interior of the pipe or to close it off against it.
To .Hessen the electrode potentials of the arranged in the cell frame 1 electric the 3 are firmly connected with this metal, any shaped metal parts, eg. B. tongues led to the outside.
