Gesichtsschutz
Gegenstand der Erfindlmg ist ein Gesichtsschutz, weleher einen aus lichtdurchlässigem Material bestehenden starren Schutzschild aufweist, der an seinem obern Rand zur Verbindung mit einem vom Benutzer des Schildes auf den Kopf aufzubringenden Halteteil ausgebildet ist.
Dies vermag zum Beispiel einem Motor radfahrer ohne Beeinträchtigung der Sieht wirksamen Schutz gegen Lufteinwirkung zu geben.
An Hand der Zeichnung sollen einige Aus führungsbeispiele des Erfindungsgegenstan- des näher erklärt werden. Es zeigen:
Fig. 1, 2 und 3 ein erstes Beispiel des Schutzschildes in Seiten- und Frontansieht sowie in einer schaubildlichen Rückansicht,
Fig. 4 in grösserem Massstab im Senkrecht- schnitt die Verbindung des Sebutzschildes mit einem Helm,
Fig. 5 nnd 6 eine Seiten-und Frontansicht des mit dem Helm verbundenen Schutzschil- des,

Im ersten Beispiel (Fig. 1 bis 6) bezeichnet 1 einen starren länglichen Schutzschild, der vorteilhaft aus organischem Glas hergestellt und in seiner Form der Topfform angepasst ist. Hierzu hat der Schild in seinem Umriss gemäss Fig. 2 die grösste Breite im Oberteil und ist zur. Längsmittelebene symmetrisch nach unten verjüngt; von der Seite her gesehen besitzt der Schild 1 gemäss Fig. 1 und 5 einen geraden Abschlussrand 2, von dem aus die Schildfläche in der Querrichtung des Schildes nach aussen gewölbt ist, desgleiehen gemäss Fig. 5 und 6 beim Gebrauch des Schildes über das Kinn des Bemltzers greifenden untern Ende aus in Richtung nach dem obern Schildrand.
An diesem Rand des Schildes 1 sind vier zum Beispiel aus Stahlblech bestehende und somit einer : lemmwirkung fähige Verbindungshaken 3 befestigt, mittels welchen der Schild 1 gemäss Fig. 4 an einem am Helm 4 vorgesehenen Tragband 5 aufgehängt ist, das als Zierband gestaltet sein kann; der Helm 4 besitzt eine Innenpolsterung 6.
Die vorgesehene Form des Schildes 1 bietet dem Gesicht des Benützers in entsprechendem Ausmass Schutz zum Beispiel gegen Witte rungseinflüsse.
Der beschriebene Schild kann bei Nichtgebrauch, wie ohne weiteres zu verstehen ist, aus dem Tragband 5 des Helmes 4 ausgehängt und für den Gebrauch wieder mittels der federnden Haken 3 in dieses Tragband 5 eingehängt werden.
In Fig. 7 ist angenommen, der Schutzschild 1 sei unmittelbar, und zwar fest, mit einem vom Benutzer des Schildes 1 auf den Kopf auf7,usetzenden Halteteil 7 verbunden.
Dieser Teil 7 kann zum Beispiel eine steife Kappe sein, die gegebenenfalls eine Innenpolsterung 8 hat.
In den Fig. 8 bis 10 ist ein Schutzschild la dargestellt, welcher sich vom vorbeschriebenen insofern unterscheidet, als er eine kleinere Sehutzfläche hat, um beim Gebrauch Mund und Kinn des Benutzers frei zu lassen. In Fig. 5 und 6 ist strichpunktiert die untere Begrenzung des Schutzschildes la angedeutet.
In den Fig. 11 und 12 ist ein Schutzschild 1b gezeichnet, der gegenüber dem Schutzschild la seitlich einen kürzeren geraden Abschlussrand 2 hat. Ferner ist der obere Rand des Schildes 1b als Rinne 9 mit abwärtsge richtetem freiem Schenkel 10 ausgebildet. Dadurch ist dem Schutzschild 1b ein entsprechend profilierter oberer Aufhängerand gegeben, welcher gemäss Fig. 13 bis 15 in seiner Rinne das Stirnband 11 eines Halteteils aufnimmt, der ferner zwei sich kreuzende obere Bänder aufweist, nämlich ein Scheitelband 12 und ein Querband 13, dessen Fortsetzung zwei seitliche Bänder 14 bilden, die an ihren zum Umspannen des Kinns des Sehildbenutzers bestimmten Enden lösbar miteinander verbunden werden können.
Gemäss Fig. 15 ist das Scheitelband 12 an seinem vordern Ende fest mit dem profilierten Aufhängerand 9, 10 des Schutzschildes 1b verbunden, jedoch könnte die Verbindung zwischen diesen zwei Teilen auch lösbar gestaltet sein.
Der im Sinne der Erfindung ausgebildete Oesichtsschutz kann gegebenenfalls auch für die Ausführung gewisser technischer Arbeiten, z. B. Schweissarbeiten, verwendet werden.
Face protection
The subject matter of the invention is a face protection which has a rigid protective shield made of translucent material, which is designed on its upper edge for connection to a holding part to be attached to the head by the user of the shield.
This can, for example, give a motorcyclist effective protection against the effects of air without impairing the sight.

In the first example (FIGS. 1 to 6), 1 designates a rigid, elongated protective shield which is advantageously made from organic glass and whose shape is adapted to the shape of the pot. For this purpose, the shield in its outline according to FIG. 2 has the greatest width in the upper part and is to. Longitudinal center plane tapered symmetrically downwards; Seen from the side, the shield 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 5 has a straight end edge 2, from which the shield surface is curved outward in the transverse direction of the shield, desgleiehen according to FIGS. 5 and 6 when using the shield over the chin of the Bemltzers reaching out from the lower end towards the upper edge of the shield.
On this edge of the shield 1, four, for example, made of sheet steel and thus a: lemming-capable connecting hooks 3 are attached, by means of which the shield 1 according to FIG. 4 is suspended from a strap 5 provided on the helmet 4, which can be designed as a decorative band; the helmet 4 has an inner padding 6.
The intended shape of the shield 1 offers the user's face a corresponding degree of protection, for example against the effects of the weather.
When not in use, as can be readily understood, the shield described can be unhooked from the carrying strap 5 of the helmet 4 and again hung in this carrying strap 5 by means of the resilient hooks 3 for use.
In FIG. 7 it is assumed that the protective shield 1 is directly, specifically firmly, connected to a holding part 7 which is placed on the head by the user of the shield 1.
This part 7 can, for example, be a rigid cap, which may have an inner padding 8.
In FIGS. 8 to 10, a protective shield la is shown which differs from the one described above in that it has a smaller protective surface in order to leave the user's mouth and chin free during use. In Fig. 5 and 6, the lower limit of the protective shield la is indicated by dash-dotted lines.
In FIGS. 11 and 12, a protective shield 1b is drawn which, compared to the protective shield 1a, has a shorter straight end edge 2 at the side. Furthermore, the upper edge of the shield 1b is designed as a channel 9 with free leg 10 directed downward. As a result, the protective shield 1b is given a correspondingly profiled upper hanging edge which, according to FIGS. 13 to 15, receives the headband 11 of a holding part in its groove, which also has two crossing upper bands, namely a crown band 12 and a transverse band 13, the continuation of which is two Form lateral straps 14 which can be releasably connected to one another at their ends intended to span the chin of the visual image user.
According to FIG. 15, the crown band 12 is firmly connected at its front end to the profiled hanging edge 9, 10 of the protective shield 1b, but the connection between these two parts could also be designed to be detachable.
The eye protection trained within the meaning of the invention can optionally also be used for the execution of certain technical work, e.g. B. welding work can be used.
