Sitz- bzw. Liegemöbel Es ist bekannt, da.ss Sitz- und Liegemöbel, welche im Freien verwendet werden, infolige der Witterungseinflüsse einer schnellen Ab nutzung unterworfen sind. Man pflegt deshalb deren Rahmen aus Metall herzustellen und die Sitz- und Rückenlehnenleisten, die meist aus Holz bestehen, mit einem Schutzlack zu über ziehen.
Dieser verlängert die Gebrauchsdauer solcher Möbel, ist jedoch auch nicht unbe- grenzt haltbar, insbesondere an den Stellen der Sitzleisten, die dazu noch mechanischer Be anspruchung unterworfen sind. Bestehen die Sitzleisten aus Metall, so sind sie infolge der grossen Wärmeleitfähigkeit unbequem im Ge brauch.
Die Erfindung bezweckt, ein Sitz- bzw. Liegemöbel, insbesondere zur Verwendung im Freien, zu schaffen, bei dem diese Nachteile beseitigt sind. Dies wird erfindungsgemäss da durch erreicht, d@ass mindestens dessen Sitz- und Rücklehnenleisten mindestens teilweise aus Kunststoff bestehen.
Es können diese Leisten sowie auch weitere Teile des Möbels mit einer Kunststoffhülle um geben sein, oder sie können auch vollständig aus Kunststoff bestehen.
In der Zeichnung sind Ausführungsbei spiele von gemäss der Erfindung ausgebildeten Leisten im Querschnitt dargestellt. Es zeigen Fig. 1 eine massive Kunststoffleiste, Fig. 2 eine Kunststoffleiste mit Metall- armierung, Fig. 3 eine Metalleiste mit teilweisser Kunst stoffumhüllung, und Fig. 4 die Hülle aus Kunststoff im Beispiel nach Fig. 3.
Das Sitz- bzw. Liegemöbel kann entweder bei seiner Herstellung mit Kunststoffleisten versehen werden, oder es können dessen bei spielsweise aus Holz bestehende Leisten nach träglich mit einer Kunststoffhülle umgeben werden.
Im ersten Fall können die Leisten gemäss Fig. 1 ausschliesslich aus Kunststoff bestehen, oder sie können eine Kunststoffhülle ai mit einer Einlage, vorzugsweise aus Metall, auf weisen. Gemäss Fig. 2 kann diese Einlage eine längs eingeschobene Metallarmierung b sein.
Sie kann aber auch .aus anderem Material be stehen und insbesondere die statische Be anspruchung der Leiste aufnehmen. In diesem Fall ist die Einlage c zweckmässigerweise im Querschnitt stärker ausgebildet und kann gemäss Fig. 3 auch eine sie lediglich mehr oder weniger umgebende Kunststoffhülle a2 tragen. Eine solche Hülle a2 (Fig. 4) ist jedoch auch geeignet, um auf bereits an einem Möbel ange brachte, z.
B. aus Holz bestehende Leisten nach träglich aufgezogen zuwerden. Zu diesem Zweck wird zweckmässigerweise ein Kunststoff ver wendet, der zwar gegen Witterungseinflüsse unempfindlich ist, aber durch starke Erhit zung, beispielsweise mittels kochendem Wasser, elastisch verformbar wird.
In diesem Zustand kann eine solche Hülle a2 leicht auseinander- gespannt, über eine an einem Möbel befind liche Leiste gestülpt und langsam abgekühlt werden, wonach sie in der dargestellten Form erhärtet.
Auf diese Weise können somit auch ältere Möbel mit Holz oder Metalleisten naehträg- lich wetterfest gemacht werden. Deren Leisten können aber auch durch Kunststoffleisten voll ständig ersetzt werden. Diese können aufge- nietet, aufgeschraubt oder, falls sie mit Metall einlagen armiert sind, an deren Stirnenden am Möbelrahmen festgelötet werden.
Die Hülle a2 gemäss Fig. 4 wird vorzugs weise durch Spritzen hergestellt. Nachdem sie erwärmt und über die Armierung zum Bei spiel gemäss Fig. 3 gestülpt worden ist, zieht sie sich von selbst in die dargestellte Profil form zusammen.
Mit derartigen Leisten versehene Stühle, Sessel, Liegestühle isw. können jahrelang ohne Erneuerung eines Schutzaustriehes usw. im Freien verwendet werden, insbesondere dann, wenn sie ausschliesslich aus Metall und Kunst stoff bestehen. Derartige Möbel eignen sich daher insbe sondere für Garten- und Restaurationsbetriebe, Parks, Sesselbahnen und dergleichen.
