Cette montre est caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend un cadran formé de deux parties juxtaposées, à savoir une partie péri phérique de forme, posée sur un rebord inté rieur de la lunette et maintenue en place par la glace, et une partie centrale circulaire, ajus tée dans cette partie périphérique et portée par le mouvement, les faces supérieures des deux parties du cadran étant au moins ap proximativement au même niveau.

La montre représentée comprend une car rure-lunette 1 de forme extérieure carrée et dans laquelle est pratiqué un logement inté rieur circulaire 2 pour le mouvement rond 3. Le fond 4, également rond, est vissé en 5 dans la carrure-lunette 1. L'ouverture de la lunette est carrée, comme le pourtour extérieur de la carrure. Une glace 6 est accrochée par un rebord 6a dans cette lunette.
Le cadran du mouvement est en deux par ties, à savoir une partie périphérique 7, carrée, dont l'ouverture centrale est circulaire, et une partie centrale 8, circulaire. La partie 7 est posée sur la face supérieure 9 de la carrure- lunette 1 et sur un rebord intérieur 1a que présente cette carrure-lunette ; l'ouverture mé nagée par ce rebord est circulaire et de plus petit diamètre que le mouvement. La partie 7 du cadran est maintenue en place par la glace et sa partie centrale 8 est fixée au mouvement. Les faces extérieures des deux parties du ca dran sont situées au même niveau.
