Freilauf-Reibungskupplung.
Ihre besonderen Merkmale sind 1. ein auf der Antriebswelle drehbar ge lagertes erstes Kupplungselement., das einer seits .eine Planreibungsfläche aufweist und anderseits mit einem .auf der Welle sitzenden Freilauforgan in fester Verbindung steht;
Die der Kupplungsscheibe 6 zunächst liegende Endwindung der Feder ist gerade gerichtet und verläuft vom Wellenumfang aus tangen- tial. Das freie Ende des tangentalen Teils;
One-way friction clutch. The invention relates to a freewheeling friction clutch which is based on the type used in a precision apparatus, e.g. B. built in a magnetic sound device, z. B. a motor is arranged belonging to the drive shaft.
Their special features are 1. a first coupling element rotatably mounted on the drive shaft, which on the one hand has a planar friction surface and on the other hand is in a fixed connection with a freewheel member seated on the shaft;
2. A second coupling element, also on the drive shaft, rotatably mounted independently of the first-mentioned element, which on the one hand has a plane friction surface facing the first coupling element and on the other hand carries a device to arbitrarily change the normal pressure on a friction element inserted between the two plane friction surfaces .
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in longitudinal section. In a bearing 1 belonging to the apparatus housing a drive shaft connected to the drive motor built into the device is rotatable so that one end thereof protrudes freely beyond the bearing. On the free standing shaft end, the coupling is installed on it and secured against axial displacement by two adjusting rings 3 and 4 attached to the shaft.
The entire coupling is carried by a sleeve 5 rotatably mounted on the shaft 2, the ends of which are supported against the two adjusting rings 3 and 4. A clutch disc 6 is centered on the end of the sleeve 5 which is closest to the bearing 1, without being fixed with the sleeve or with the adjusting ring 3 adjoining it.
Between the adjusting ring 3 and the bearing 1, a free-running element 7 connected to the clutch disc 6 is arranged on the shaft 2. This freewheel member has the shape of a helical spring, the helically ge wounded part surrounds the shaft 2 without play.
The end turn of the spring that is initially located on the clutch disc 6 is straight and runs tangentially from the shaft circumference. The free end of the tangential part;
7 'is bent into an eyelet which is attached to a slave pin 8 connected to FIG. 6 by means of a nut 9. The freewheel member 7 acts so that in the one direction of rotation of the shaft 2, in which it has the tendency to wind up the helically wound part, the wrap becomes tighter, with the result that the wound part and therefore also the clutch disc 6 of the shaft is inevitably rotated.
In the opposite direction of rotation of the shaft, on the other hand, it has the tendency to expand the very undulating part and to enlarge its diameter, so that entrainment between the shaft 2 and the freewheeling element 7 no longer takes place. A counterweight 10 is arranged on the clutch disc 6, diametrically opposite the driver pin 8.
At a certain distance from the clutch disc 6 is. a drive pulley 11 is seen, which is intended to transmit the torque of the motor in one sense of rotation via a transmission element 12 to another part of the engine. The drive disk 11 is freely rotatably mounted on the sleeve 5 and is solely by the. Frictional engagement with the clutch disc 6 is carried along by this.
To generate the required frictional connection, a friction element is arranged in the space between the planar friction surfaces of the two parts 6 and 11 .. This organ consists of a holder cage 13, which is mounted concentrically and freely rotatable on the one hand to the shaft axis and on the other with a number Bores is provided, wherein suppositories 14 are inserted from elastic Shem material, such that their end faces are each in a common. Lie level.
As a material for the friction suppositories 14, cork has proven itself to a high degree; Of course, another suitable material, for example based on synthetic resin, could also be considered for this purpose.
The size of the torque to be transmitted through the drive pulley 11 to other drive parts, which are not shown in the drawing, is determined in a known manner by generating a correspondingly large normal pressure on the friction elements arranged between the two planar friction surfaces.
In this example this pressure can be adjusted. At the end of the sleeve 5, where it is provided with an external thread, it carries: a nut piece 15 with a counter nut 16. It also carries a slider 17, lying against the hub of the drive pulley 11.
The nut piece 15 and the slide piece 17 are each provided with a cylindrical twist to accommodate a compression spring 18 which generates the normal pressure on the friction elements, which can be varied at will by adjusting the nut piece 15.
