La machine à frire représentée fonctionne comme suit La cavité 6 est remplie partiellement d'huile comestible, puis l'interrupteur 21 est actionné de façon à commander la fermeture de l'interrupteur électromagnétique 18 et d'assurer l'allumage de la lampe témoin 23 et l'alimentation du corps de chauffe 11; puis, lorsque l'huile est chauffée à. la température désirée après qu'un aliment a été placé dans celle-ci, au moyen d'une corbeille à frire, non représentée, le thermostat 22 ouvre automa tiquement l'interrupteur 27, et par consé quent l'interrupteur 18, qui se refermeront automatiquement lorsque la température de l'huile sera descendue à une valeur détermi née;
Frying machine. The subject of the present invention is a frying machine, characterized in that it has a casing in which is formed a cavity intended to contain oil and leading to an evacuation duct, this cavity having, at a a certain height above its bottom, a supporting stop. a heating body connected to. a current source via an electromagnetic switch, the latter being capable of being coiiimandé by a manual switch and by a thermostat subjected to the influence of the heating body.
lie attached drawing shows, at. by way of example, an embodiment of the machine which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view. The fi-. 2 is a front view.
1.a fil-. 3 is one quickly in section along I-1 of FIG. 2, and fig. 4 is a circuit diagram.
The frying machine shown comprises a housing 1. provided with four feet 2, 3, 4 and 5, and in which is formed a cavity 6 leading to an evacuation duct 7 closed by a shutter member 8. The cavity 6 of the tines to contain oil is limited by a cylindrical surface 9 leading to a frustoconical surface 10. The oil contained in the lower end of the frustoconical part 10 does not heat up or only slightly when the heating body 1.1 is supplied with electricity; It follows that the food waste falls inside this frustoconical part 10, settles at the bottom of the latter and can finally be discharged through the duct 7.
The heating body 11 is three-phase and takes freely. resting on a stop 13 set at the lower end of the cylindrical part 9; it is connected to a pipe 14 terminating at a socket outlet. 15. The latter is connected by conductors 16 passing through a terminal 17 to an electromagnetic switch 18, itself connected by means of conductors 19 to a source of electrical energy.
Switch 18 is connected, by means of conductors 20, to a manual switch 21, to a thermostat 22 and to a pilot light 23 fixed on a switchboard 24, with which the casing 1 is provided. The latter is limited, at its extremity. uppermost, by a wall 25 inclined towards the entrance to the cavity 6, so that the oil being able to spurt out therefrom returns there again.
The housing -1 has a housing 26 into which can be introduced a receptacle intended for. receive the oil discharged from the cavity 6, this receptacle resting on the ground.
The frying machine shown operates as follows The cavity 6 is partially filled with edible oil, then the switch 21 is actuated so as to control the closing of the electromagnetic switch 18 and to ensure the lighting of the pilot light 23 and the supply of the heating body 11; then, when the oil is heated to. the desired temperature after a food has been placed therein, by means of a frying basket, not shown, the thermostat 22 automatically opens the switch 27, and consequently the switch 18, which turns on. will close automatically when the oil temperature has dropped to a determined value;
when cooking is complete, switch 21 is actuated to control the final opening of switch 18.
The heating body 11 is removable and can be, via the plug 15, disconnected from the power source of the frying machine shown; the heating body 11 can then be moved to be used to heat another appliance.
The heating body 11 is placed above the cone 10 of the tank 6, so as to heat a minimum quantity of oil for cooking, and thus have to. provision of a relatively cold oil reserve below the heating body 11, making it possible to retain the waste inherent in cooking.
The thermostat. 22 est. placed slightly above the heating body 11, allowing instantaneous engagement as soon as the basket containing the food to be fried comes to rest on the tube of said thermostat and, therefore, enables it to be very quickly re-engaged.
In the event of insufficient or no oil, the thermostat triggers and switches the fryer off, and therefore not in working order, and thus protects the heating body.
The cavity 6 intended to contain the oil can be easily cleaned, because the heating body 11 can be taken out of said cavity for this purpose.
The heating body 11 can be replaced without the help of a person skilled in the art.
