Rückschlag-Sicherheitsventil.
11 verschlossen.
Check safety valve. The present invention relates to a non-return safety valve, which is intended in particular for installation in grass and what water lines, in order to prevent the ingress of compressed air, oxygen and explosive mixtures, z.
B. if a flashback occurs in the gas line when lighting burners or if compressed air or oxygen regresses backwards into the gas supply as a result of clogging or locking of the burner mouthpiece, furthermore to prevent water backflow in water pipes in the event of turbid pressure in containers and pipes or to prevent water backflow as a result of the siphon effect by drawing in water from containers etc.
The check valve according to the invention for gaseous and liquid media is characterized according to the invention by the fact that a flap-like closing element oscillating in a connection piece for the inlet and outlet lines in front of the inner opening of the connection piece for the inlet line it is attached that the same is lifted from the mouth when the medium flows through the supply line and pressed against the mouth when the direction of flow is reversed.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely Fig.l shows a cross section through the non-return safety valve in the closed position and Fig.2 shows a longitudinal section through the same valve with a special fuse screwed on the lower part.
The non-return safety valve has a metal housing which consists of a cylindrical upper part 1 and a lower part 2 which is equipped with connecting pieces 4 and 5 for connecting the supply and discharge lines. The inner part of the connecting piece 4 has an extension 3 which extends approximately to the center of the housing and which is designed as a valve seat. In front of this valve seat 3 there is a hanging flap 6 which is attached to the bracket 7 at the lower end of an elongated shape having free hanging.
This bracket is bent like a hook at its other end and suspended from a transverse pin 8, the latter in the wall of the housing upper part 1 is attached. The hanging flap 6 and the bracket 7 together form an easily movable pendulum, the length of which is chosen so large that the hanging flap 6 is opened wide even under very little pressure and releases a large flow cross-section.
The easy movability of the hanging flap 6 allows a robust design of the same, so that the named hanging flap does not suffer any deformation even with strong, sudden pressure surges in the closing direction, where the named hanging flap no longer fits tightly on the valve seat 3 would.
The suspension of the hanging flap 6 on the bracket 7 is expediently held so movably that it has enough play to adapt itself to the sealing surface of the valve seat 3.
The upper housing part 1 is closed by means of a closure cap 9, which can easily be unscrewed, around the bracket 7 together. attached hanging flap 6 from the housing for the purpose of checking and cleaning the sealing surfaces to remove. When reinstalling the hook-like bent bow end 10 prevents incorrect mounting of the bracket.
The lower housing part 2 also has a cap 11, after the Ent distance a special safety valve known ter type can be attached to the housing. The use of the last mentioned special valve 1'- 'is only. Required for pipes for gas and oxygen. If the described valve is used for gas and drainage lines or for water pipes, this remains. the upper and lower parts of the housing are closed by the sealing caps 9 and 11, respectively.
