Description

Method of fixing a self-winding watch movement. The object of the present invention is a method for fixing a self-winding watch movement in its case, characterized in that at least two holes are made on the circumference of the cage entry of the middle part. cylindrical and that we place in each (the latter a screw whose head fixes the thread of the movement plate against the edge of the caseband.

When the middle part is made of hard metal, it is possible to drive a threaded barrel of soft metal into each of said cylindrical holes and place one of said screws in each of these barrels.

The difficulty in fixing a self-winding movement on the pro caseband comes from the net. platinum is extremely thin; indeed, the. oscillating mass must have the greatest possible moment of inertia for a given weight and consequently extends over a great height in relation to the movement, which leaves little room for the thread of the plate.

The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, a movement fixed by means of the method according to the invention. It is shown only what the understanding of the invention requires.

Fig. 1 is. a section showing the movement fixed in the. build.

The -Fig. 2 is. a plan view of part of the caseband, before the. fixation of the movement.

1 represents the movement of a self-winding watch at. fix, 2 the caseband, supposed to be in hard metal. Around the perimeter of the eage entrance are two cylindrical holes into which are driven .1 guns of soft metal, such as brass. In the center of these barrels 4 are formed threads 5 in which screws 3 penetrate. Thus, the plate 6 of the movement is securely fixed to the middle part 2.
