Self-winding watch movement. The present invention relates to a timepiece with automatic winding by moving mass. This timepiece is characterized in that the mechanism connecting this mass to the barrel comprises a gear train housed over its entire height in at least one recess made in a thick part of the plate.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, a key embodiment of the invention.
The fi-. 1 is. a view of the movement, dial side, in which only the components necessary for a key understanding of the invention are represented.
The fi-. 2 is a detailed view of the movement, on the dial side, and FIG. 3 is a section along III-III of FIG. 2.
Let 1 be the plate, 2 the barrel and 3 the balance. The edge of the plate, the barrel and the balance limit a key part of the plate designated by 4 and which is thick. A hollow 5 opening on the dial side is made in this thick part 4-. This hollow is intended to receive the cog forming part of a mechanism connecting a moving mass (the winding to the barrel shaft. This cog comprises two moving parts, a wheel 6 with a pinion 7 and a wheel 8 with a pinion 9.
The latter meshes with a wheel 10 mounted on the shaft 11 of the barrel, between the barrel and a plate 12. The wheels of this gear are pivoted, on the one hand, in the plate, in the bottom of the recess 5, and .on the other hand, in the plate 12 fixed on the plate and closing the recess. The barrel is located in a housing 13 opening on the dial side and on the bridge side. and communicating with the recess 5. The axis 11 of the barrel is pivoted in a barrel bridge. 14 and in plate 12. The bearings of the winding train may include the stones attached to the plate and to the plate.
The wheel 6 has a 1.5 wolf tooth den ture located field, with which cooperates a double-arm lever 19, located between the plate and the dial, integral with the mobile winding mass 20, which is an annular mass surrounding the movement is pivoted at 21 on a lug 1a of the plate. A retaining pawl 16 formed of a leaf spring attached to the. plate 12 prevents the key wheel 6 from turning in the opposite direction to that of reassembly. The wheel 10 is mounted loose on the shaft 11.
It has wolf-toothed teeth 17, located in the field, with which an elastic washer 18 cooperates, mounted squarely on the shaft 11, forming an elastic snap-fastening thanks to which the automatic winding gear is independent of the hand winder.
This arrangement makes it possible to use a space on the plate which is usually unoccupied and to accommodate the automatic winding gear train therein without increasing the height of the movement.
