Shock absorbing bearing. The invention relates to a shock absorbing bearing according to the claim of the main patent and in which the kitten rests by its centering extension in the bottom of a cavity provided in the frame of the movement. This bearing is characterized in that the bottom of this cavity is formed by a circular groove, the inner wall of which cooperates with the centering extension for maintaining the parts in their centered position.
The inner wall of the circular groove may be cylindrical and cooperate via its outer upper edge with a conical inner surface of the centering extension.
The contrary provision can also be used. The inner wall of the circular groove is then conical and cooperates with the lower edge of a cylindrical inner surface of the centering extension.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, two embodiments of a damper bearing according to the invention, in section through the axis of the mobile to be protected.
In fig. 1, 1 designates the board of the rooster. The cockerel 2 is maintained by means which are not shown. In all of these two parts is hollowed out a cavity 40, the bottom of which is formed by a circular groove 41, the outer wall of which is cylindrical, while its inner wall 42 is conical. The diameter of the base of this cone corresponds as a dimension to that of the bore 43 of the centering extension 10 provided for the chaton 7 inside which the pierced stone 8 and the counterpivot 9 are housed. The whole is held in place by a res out 44 which supports the kitten 7 by its centering protrusion 10 in the bottom of the groove 41.
Under the effect of a shock, the pivot 12 which penetrates into the pierced stone 8 acts through the latter on the kitten which then rocks around its outer edge 45 until the end 13 the end of the mobile shaft presses against the edge of the hole 46 provided in the plate. When the effect of the shock ceases, the pressure of the spring 44 and the cooperation of the lower edge of the bore of the chaton with the conical surface 42 of the groove brings the whole back to the position which is shown in FIG. 1.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2, we find all the parts of the previous fi gure. Here, however, the wall 42 of the groove 41 is cylindrical, while the bore 47 of the centering extension 10 of the kitten 7 is conical. This bore co-operates with the upper edge of the inner wall 42 to re-center the kitten and the parts that it carries when, under the effect of an impact, said kitten has tilted around its edge 45.
