Fig. 1 stellt den Längsschnitt einesT- förmigen Saugkopfes dar.
Device on a spinning machine for suction. The suction of the fiber material supplied by the drafting devices in the event of thread breakage, instead of the winding of the fibers through plastering, has been the subject of inventive efforts for years.
The solution to the problem has already been attempted in such a way that the same suction heads running parallel to the same running suction heads were attached along .den the drafting units to suck off the fiber material when leaving the drafting units in order to convey it into a filter with an air flow generated by negative pressure.
The invention now relates to a device on a spinning machine for sucking off the fiber material emerging from the drafting systems in the event of a thread breakage by means of suction heads arranged along the drafting systems, opening into collecting channels and for collecting this fiber material in a filter. In accordance with the invention, each suction head has two perforated suction tubes that open from both sides into a suction nozzle connecting them, which has a deflector to guide the air flow so that eddies are avoided.
The invention will be explained using the drawing voltage, for example; In which. Ausführungsbei shown game a practically vortex-free, almost constant air flow is achieved over the entire length of the machine.
Fig. 1 shows the longitudinal section of a T -shaped suction head. The total length of the suction head a corresponds to the distance between two draw frame bearings in that the ends of the suction head provided with pegs are held there. The thin-walled round suction pipe d has as many suction holes c as there are spindles. The division b thus corresponds to the spindle division. In the middle of the suction head there is a suction nozzle e which is used to connect to the collecting channels k.
So that the air flow generated by negative pressure, which is supposed to suck in the fiber material through the holes c, flows into the collecting ducts as freely and in the same direction as possible, a deflection piece g is attached which has the task of moving the two circular cylindrical suction pipe ends towards the .dem Center-directed air flow lines in parallel. It turns out that vortex-preventing air guiding inserts f at the ends. the suction pipes also help prevent vortices.
Fig. La shows an embodiment of the suction nozzle e of the suction head made of synthetic resin, into which the two suction pipes d are fitted so that no harmful discontinuities arise in the transitions. The tubes d open from both sides into the connecting piece e and are arranged symmetrically with respect to the central plane of the connecting piece.
Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of several suction heads on a collecting duct 7c viewed from above and in section AA. The air flowing in without vortices through the suction heads described in FIG united in the collecting channel k to form parallel flows, through the appropriate size of the diameter of the collecting channel and through the appropriate shape of the junctions h in the same.
Tests have shown that round or oval cross-sections that remain the same over the entire length of the machine give the best results. Fig. 3 is a schematic view of a ;: machine viewed from the end shield.
The collecting channels k run on both sides of the creel along the drafting devices 1 and never carry suction pipes d intended for sucking off the fiber material.
As the drawing shows, it is possible with a double-sided arrangement of the collecting channels to keep the creel unchanged, so that the subsequent assembly on existing machines is very simple and does not require an increase in the coil boards.
The exhaust air from the channels k is passed into a filter m, where the fiber material is separated from.
This filter should be selected as large as possible in order to keep the output of the fan small. Good results are achieved with a minimum of 20 .cm. ' Filter-. flat per spindle 'and at an air speed when passing through the filter that effectively does not exceed 0.6 m / sec.
The filter is exchangeable and should be able to be cleaned during operation and be easily accessible.
