Device for pumping hot liquid in a pressurized circuit. The invention relates to a device for pumping hot liquid in a pressurized circuit, with a pump, the drive motor of which is located in a space in which the same pressure prevails as in the circuit and the shaft protruding from the motor compartment also being approximately the same Pressure is on.
Pumps are known for circulating boiler water under high pressure, which is pumped several times in forced circulation through the evaporator tubes, the motor being arranged in a pressure-tight vessel to avoid a stuffing box between the pump and motor. Since the engine compartment is only separated from the pump compartment by the bearing, these pumps have the disadvantage that when the circuit is pressurized, the water in the engine compartment is compressed and consequently a compensating flow occurs through the bearing.
This also occurs with all pressure fluctuations and especially with all temperature changes. As a result of this equalizing flow, boiler water now penetrates from the pump room into the engine compartment, and dirt can only get into the bearing, but also into the engine compartment and cause damage.
In order to counteract this disadvantage effectively, it is proposed according to the invention that not only an intermediate space provided with cooling is connected between the engine compartment and the pump compartment, but also that the motor compartment be separated from the pump compartment and have a flexible wall part which is burdened on the outside by the pressure in the circuit.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is shown schematically represents. The figures show: FIG. 1 the pressure housing of the pump and motor from the outside, suspended from a circuit under high pressure, FIG. 2 a section through the pressure housing, pump and motor.
The line 1, which is provided with an insulation 2, forms part of a high pressure circuit in wel chem hot liquid is promoted by the pump ge.
A shut-off valve 3, which is connected to the suction nozzle 4 of the pump housing 5, is connected to the line 1. The pressure port 9 is connected to a second shut-off valve 10, which is connected to the line 11, which is also surrounded by an insulating jacket 2. A pressure-resistant intermediate housing 6 adjoins the pump gel housing and a pressure-resistant motor housing 8 adjoins the latter.
The intermediate housing 6 is provided with an inlet 12 and an outlet 13 for cooling water.
The impeller 1'5, Fig. 2, of the pump is overhung on the drive shaft 16, angeord net. The shaft 16 is mounted in the bearings 17, 18 and 19, the rotor 20 of the motor being keyed on the shaft 16 between the bearings 18 and 19. The stator 21 is installed in the pressure-resistant motor housing 8. The motor 20, 21 is provided with electrical current by power lines, not shown, which lead through the wall of the motor housing 8.
Now, not only is a space provided with cooling 27 between the pump chamber 28 and the motor chamber 26 connected, but also the motor chamber 26 is separated from the inter mediate space 27 and has a flexible wall part, the corrugated membrane 22 on the The outside of the pressure of the space 27 is loaded.
The membrane 22 is fastened on the outside of the insert flame 7 and on the inside of the bearing body 18. The insert flange 7 is switched between the flanges of the housing 6 and 8 and has pressure equalization bores 28.
The engine chamber 26 is filled with liquid; it can be water, oil or any other liquid. The intermediate space 27, like the pump chamber 28, is also filled with conveying liquid.
In the space 27, the cooling coil 24 is connected between the lines 12 and 13. The line 14 leads to the lower end of the cooling jacket 24a surrounding the motor housing 8; the outflow of the cooling water from the jacket 24a takes place through the line 25.
At high temperatures it is necessary to protect the motor 20, 21 against heat. Here, the interspace 27 with the cooling coil 24 has an effect in that the heat flow from the hot pump housing 5 and from the hot liquid in the space 28, which is closed off from the space 27 by the partition 31, by means of the cooling liquor 24 flowing medium is discharged. If this is not enough, further heating of the motor 20, 21 respectively. the motor heat from the current flow itself is dissipated by means of the coolant flowing through the cooling jacket 24a, the jacket 24a also being able to be supplied with coolant parallel to the cooling coil 24.
This has the particular advantage that the temperature fluctuations are kept away from the engine compartment 26 and the equalization of the volume of the compartment 26 by means of the membrane 22 runs within narrower limits.
The mode of operation of the membrane 22 is as follows: If there is no pressure in the circuit and thus in the various spaces of the pump and motor, the liquid in space 26 will take up a larger volume than during operation under a pressure of, for example, 25 to 100 at or more. Since there is no completely incompressible liquid, the change in volume in the space 26 on the membrane 22 now has the effect that it is pushed so far downward until the pale or approximately the same pressure prevails on both sides. This Duschbie supply is less, the smaller the free space in the motor space 26 is. As a result, any passage of liquid from the space 27 into the space 26 through the bearing 18 is prevented.
To be on the safe side, the bearing 18 is closed by a sealing ring 29, and the slinger 30 reduces the access of liquid to the bearing 18.
The circuit can, for example, be part of a high pressure vessel, e.g. B. the evaporation part of a La Mont boiler. by the pump 15 circulating the hot boiler water. But it can also be a hot liquid in some other process that has to be circulated. In addition, the pump can also be used to circulate a hydrocarbon to be hydrogenated, including a catalyst.
In the case of a conveyed material that is very sensitive to heat, the cooled intermediate space can also serve to keep the engine heat away from the conveyed liquid.
Instead of a cooling coil '2'4, cooling water can also be introduced directly into the space 27 through the line 12 and carried away through the line 13.
The location of the resilient wall part of the motor rougher 26 can be different. For example, the insert flange 7, designed as a closed disk, could only have the bearing 18, while a corrugated membrane below the bearing 19 would completely close off the motor housing and a compensating bore would have to be provided to the side of the bearing 19. The space between this lower membrane and the wall of the pressure housing 8 would then have to be connected by a pipeline to the space 27 or to the hull 28 for the purpose of equalizing the pressure.
At the stele of a membrane, the flange 7 could also have only one opening 23, which closes off the space 26 from the space 27 by means of a folded tube protruding into the space 27 and closed at the upper end. Likewise, the space 27 for itself or the spaces 26 and 27 could men together from the pump chamber 28 through a corrugated membrane, the z. B. would be attached to the bearing body 17 and the housing 6, be completed; this would be advantageous if the pump were to convey an aggressive liquid.
