Aufgeladene Zweiwellen-Gegenkolbenbrennkraftmaschine.
Die als Torsionsstabfeder wirkende Welle 25 verhindert die ungedämpfte Übertragung von harten Stössen von der Kurbelwelle auf das Turboaggregat. Mit der als Biegestab feder zur Wirkung gelangenden Welle 29 wird erreicht, dass die am Zylinderblock, an den Kurbelwellen, am Turbogetriebe und am Turboaggregat auftretenden;
Turbocharged twin-shaft opposed piston internal combustion engine. The invention relates to a charged two-shaft opposed piston internal combustion engine with a supercharging compressor, the rotor of which rotates around an axis running parallel to the axes of the internal combustion cylinders and which is arranged at one end of the cylinder row and connected to one of the crankshafts via a bevel gear. The invention consists in that the runner of the:
formed as a turbo compressor from Aufladevex, denser, is connected at one end via the bevel gear to the inlet-side crankshaft and at its other end to the rotor of a turbine, which is connected to the exhaust line parallel to the internal combustion cylinders.
It is advisable to connect the TurboaggTegat to the crankshaft that emits the engine power to the outside. A shaft acting as a torsion bar spring can be provided between the bevel gear and the crankshaft on the inlet side, which outputs the machine power to the outside. It is also advantageous
to provide a shaft that acts as a bending spring in part inside the rotor of the turbo compressor. In addition, a flexible coupling can be used, which can be arranged between the bevel gear and the turbo unit or between the bevel gear and the inlet-side crankshaft.
There is already a two-stroke internal combustion engine with opposing pistons known, in which the two crankshafts work on a gear exposed on the main drive shaft, a rotary piston is seen to generate the scavenging and charge air, the housing of the two crankcases in such a way it is included that the rotary piston axes are parallel to those of the cylinders,
and one rotary piston is driven from both sides by means of a pair of bevel gears through the two crank shafts.
The design proposed according to the invention enables the advantage that short exhaust gas lines are sufficient between the outlet openings of the machine and the exhaust gas turbine. This results in a significant space saving. In addition, energy losses are avoided,
because there is less flow resistance and only a smaller radiation.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in FIG. 1 in a partial longitudinal section and in FIG. 2 in a side view.
The two-shaft opposing piston combustion engine operating in the two-stroke cycle has two crankshafts 1 and 2, respectively, of opposing pistons 3. 4 are driven. The pistons 3 control the inlet slots 5 and the pistons 4 control the outlet slots 6.
The crankshafts 1 and 2 are kept in synchronism with one another by a gear mechanism (not shown) that is accommodated in the housing 7.
At the same time, the power from shaft 2 is transferred to shaft 1 via this gear drive. The total output of the internal combustion engine is passed through the flywheel 8 and the clutch 9 to the outside.
The air required for purging and charging is sucked in from the open air through the nozzle 11 through the compressor 10, which is arranged at one end of the cylinder row and whose rotor rotates about an axis running parallel to the axes of the internal combustion cylinders, through the compressor located on the rotor 12 Sehaufelung compressed and through the collecting duct 13,
the air line 14 and the inlet slots 5 are guided into the working spaces of the cylinders. The exhaust gas flow through outlet slots 6 and the exhaust gas line 15 into the annular duct 16 of the exhaust gas turbine 17, with a shaft running parallel to the axis of the internal combustion engine, and then arrive. after relaxation through the exhaust pipe 18 to the outside.
The rotor 19 of the exhaust gas turbine is connected to the rotor 12 of the compressor 10 by means of the shaft 20. Instead of the direct coupling by means of the shaft 20, the rotor 19 of the exhaust gas turbine and the compressor rotor 12 could be connected to one another via a transmission gear.
There is a mechanical connection via the bevel gear 21, 22 between the inlet-side crankshaft 1, which emits the machine power to the outside, and the rotors 12 and 19.
The bevel gear 21 is mounted on a hollow shaft 23 which is connected to the crankshaft 1 via a flexible coupling 24 and a shaft 25 coming into effect as a torsion bar spring. The bevel gear 22 is attached directly to the spur gear 26 and is held together with the latter by the shaft 27.
The spur gear 26 in turn engages in a pinion 28, which over the partially inside. of the rotor 12, the shaft 29, which acts as a bending bar spring, is connected to the rotors 12 and 19. Both the shafts 23 and 25 as well as the spur gear 26 and the pinion 28 are mounted in the housing 30 built on the internal combustion engine.
The shaft 25, which acts as a torsion bar spring, prevents the undamped transmission of hard impacts from the crankshaft to the turbo unit. With the shaft 29 acting as a flexible rod spring, it is achieved that those occurring on the cylinder block, on the crankshafts, on the turbo transmission and on the turbo unit;
Heat expansions of different sizes do not adversely affect the running of the turbine and the fan. impact. One end of the rotor 12 of the compressor is therefore connected via the bevel gear to the inlet-side crankshaft 1 and the other end to the rotor 19 of the exhaust gas turbine.
Because the drive is taken from the crankshaft that delivers the machine power to the outside, the turbo compressor is coupled to a shaft that has large masses and thus runs more smoothly than the other crankshaft, from which no drive power is taken directly and which is therefore only has a smaller mass. The training described has the advantage
that the shortest connection can be established between the compressor and the air supply openings of the cylinders on the one hand and between the outlet openings of the cylinders and the turbine on the other hand, so that not only lines that block space and are at risk of expansion
but also flow resistances can be largely avoided. In addition, the arrangement enables the exhaust gases to be diverted upwards immediately and to accommodate the exhaust gas turbine compressor unit. within the mascline profile, which saves a lot of space, especially in ship systems.
Another relief is achieved with regard to the unevenly acting thermal expansions, because between the bevel gear and the rotors. of the turbo unit can easily - as shown - arrange an elastic cal shaft 29, which allows an expansion of the cylinder block independent of the position of the transmission.
There is also a substantial improvement in the machine described in terms of vibrations.
Instead of the flexible coupling 24 built between the crankshaft 1 and the bevel gear 21, a flexible coupling designed as a spring coupling or a hydraulic coupling could be arranged between the bevel gear and the turbo unit, for example between the pinion 28 and the Runner 12.
In this case, the elastic shafts 25 and 29 could be omitted by installing a hydraulic clutch. If necessary, a transmission gear can also be installed between the inlet-side crankshaft and the bevel gear. Instead of as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the turbo unit could be arranged on the side of the connecting gear housing 7.
The compressor can of course also generate increased charging pressures. From a certain charging level, at least when operating at full load, excess power is diverted from the exhaust gas turbine via the compressor and the bevel gear to the crankshaft delivering the power to the outside. The invention is particularly expediently applied from: Two-stroke machines.
But it also has its advantages for four-stroke machines.
