Description
B. mittels bombierter oder dachförmig profilierter Walzen, über welche das endlose Gummiband läuft, .oder durch Führungswalzen oder Rollen, durch Streichstangen usw. zu erzielen ist. Die noch feuchte Papierbahn folgt an allen Stellen dem sich zusammenziehenden Gummiband;
Process for the production of high-tensile paper. the paper machine. Stretchable paper was previously produced as crepe paper by means of the usual crepe scraper devices. The present method is intended to make the crepe scraper devices superfluous.
According to the method according to the inven tion, the moist paper web is brought to rest on at least one elastic guide surface, the surface expansion of this elastic guide surface being changed in the time while the paper web rests on the same and the paper web resting on the guide surface changes this Participates in the change in the area.
For example, the wet paper web on an elastic support surface, for. B. eiri "-endless rubber band, are transferred, or the paper web can be guided between two elastic guide bands who the, the two bands are expediently subjected to unequal elongations.
It is also possible that an inelastic guide belt follows the running paper web without stretching and carries it, while a second elastic guide belt covering the paper web compresses or compresses the latter by changing the extent of its area during the time of contact with the paper web. according to the shrinkage of the elastic band.
The change in the surface area of the elastic band can affect the paper web in the width direction or in the length direction; an effect in the width and length direction is also possible. This change in the surface area of the elastic band (s) can be achieved by changing the tension, which can be done in various ways, e.g.
B. by means of cambered or roof-shaped profiled rollers over which the endless rubber band runs, .Or by guide rollers or rollers, by spreader bars, etc. can be achieved. The still moist paper web follows the contracting rubber band at all points;
This creates a shrinkage of the paper web after a kind of creping. After drying, the sheet structure, which is pushed together in the moist state, exhibits an expansion possibility or elasticity that is approximately equal to this mechanically generated shrinkage.
The elastic guide surface is suitably switched on on the paper machine after the couch within the dewatering and pre-drying zone, where the paper web allows a surface change without being damaged, with this newly created structure then being fixed in the final drying.
You could also let the still very moist paper web run through between a soft elastic carrier tape and a roller provided with elevations and depressions, which then results in a paper which, in addition to the local gatherings at the depressed areas, shows a finely wavy crepe structure . A paper produced in this way is distinguished by its very high extensibility.
