Description
Stopfbüchse. Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Stopfbüchse zum Abdichten von Kolben, Kolbenstangen und andern unter Gas- oder Flüssigkeitsdruck stehenden Maschinenele menten.
Die Erfindung bestellt darin, dass zwi schen<B>, . .</B> r Reihe von Scheiben aus <B>.</B> je zwei eine unelastischem Material, deren lichte Weite grösser ist als der Querschnitt des abzudich tenden Organes,<B>je</B> eine Scheibe aus elasti schem Material liegt, welch letztere Scheiben durch das Druckmedium, mittels der unela- stiselien Scheiben zusammengepresst werden und sieh nach der abzudichtenden Seite hi# ausdehnen.
In beiliegender Zeichnung ist eine bei spielsweise Ausführungsform der Erfindung veranschaulicht.
In den Zylinder<B>1</B> greift der Pumpen- Icolben- 2. Durch die Brille<B>3</B> werden mit tels einer Reihe von Scheiben 4, welche aus einem unelastischen Material, beispielsweise Eisen, bestehen, die Scheiben<B>5,</B> welche<B>je</B> zwischen zwei Scheiben 4 liegen und' aus einem elastischen Material bestehen, bei spielsweise Gummi, zusammengedrückt. Die lichte Weite der Scheiben 4- ist grösser als der Querschnitt des Pumpenkolbens 2.
Durch eine Offnune. <B>6</B> gelangt das Druck medium unter die ffleibe, 4, welche mit einer Aussparung versehen ist, damit das Druckmedium unter dieser wirksam -wird. Durch den Druck des Druckmediums auf die Scheibe 4' werden die elastisellen Scheiben<B>5</B> zusammengepresst und da sie sich nur gegen den Kolben 2 und die Zylinderwand ausdell- nen können, bewirken sie an beiden Stellen die Abdiclitung. Der Anpressungsdruck der elastischen Scheiben an den Kolben ist durch das Spiel zwischen Scheiben und Kolben, wenn die Scheiben noch ungepresst sind,
die Dicke der Scheiben und deren Elastizität weitgehend bestimmbar, so dass es möglich ist, eine absolute Abdichtung zu erzielen, ohneeine übermässige Bremswirkung auf den Pumpenkolben zu bewirken. Bei hohem Druck des Druckmediums werden dünnere Scheiben aus härterem Material verwendet, während bei niederen Drücken dickere Sellei- ben aus weiclierem Material Anwendung fin den können.
Die elastischen Scheiben -werden <B>je-</B> naeli Art des Druckmediums aus gewöhn- liellein Kautsclink, bei<B>01</B> als Druckmedium aus ölbeständigem, synthetischem 13#autsel-iuk oder auch aus andern Materialien, z. B. Press- stoffen oder Faserstoffen, hergestellt.
Stuffing box. The present invention relates to a stuffing box for sealing pistons, piston rods and other machine elements under gas or liquid pressure.

With high pressure of the pressure medium, thinner discs made of harder material are used, while with lower pressures thicker discs made of softer material can be used.
The elastic disks - depending on the type of print medium - are usually made from Kautsclink, with <B> 01 </B> as a print medium made from oil-resistant, synthetic 13 # autsel-iuk or from other materials, z. B. pressed fabrics or fibers.
