Additional patent to the main patent no. 188109. The invention relates to a power machine system with supercharging according to the patent claim of the main patent, with a device that works depending on the supercharging pressure to limit the maximum injectable speed that can be set by the speed controller:
amount of fuel, as well as with indirect power transmission, which has a regulation of the load on the internal combustion engine.
It has been shown that oscillations of the control device of the load, as provided in the exemplary embodiments described in the main patent, can be prevented with simple means, regardless of any position of the speed respectively. Speed controller does not correspond to a specific position of the servomotor of the load control device,
as long as the speed regulator fulfills its task of regulating the fuel supply. Such oscillations are advantageously prevented by a delay in the operation of the servomotor, for example by Dro @ ss el = z its power supply.
If the internal combustion engine is overloaded, then as a result of this throttling, the action of the speed controller will have a slower effect on the servomotor regulating the load than on regulating the amount of fuel.
During the time that elapses until. If the load on the Brenu engine is regulated in such a way that the original equilibrium is there again, the speed controller temporarily increases the amount of fuel and thus prevents an excessive drop in speed.
But as soon as .the. Device which limits the maximum amount of fuel to be injected which can be set by the speed controller, the speed controller can no longer prevent a large range of speeds of the internal combustion engine under certain circumstances. In the time it takes for the load control to reduce the load accordingly, the speed may have fallen far below the setpoint.
If the load has been reduced sufficiently by the load control operated by the speed controller, the speed no longer drops. In spite of the fact that the speed begins to slowly increase again, the load control device further reduces the load until the desired value of the speed is reached again.
As a result, when this setpoint value of the speed is reached, the load is too low and the load control device now begins again to increase the load. At the same time, the internal combustion engine accelerates in order to achieve the balance between the load and performance of the internal combustion engine at a certain speed. From this moment on, the load should be kept constant.
It is not, however, but the load control direction is increased, the load continues until the speed has fallen back to the setpoint.
The reduction respectively. Increasing the load thus comes too late, namely when the whole process of lowering the speed from the setpoint to a minimum with a subsequent increase to a maximum and fall back to the setpoint is referred to as a period, a quarter period too late. As a result, under unfavorable circumstances, the regulation can only be implemented after very 1:
time to rest or not at all. It may even happen that the pendulum. getting bigger instead of getting smaller.
The subject of the invention is a device which, depending on the action of the limiting device, has a servomotor for load control and an element controlling the supply of power to the servomotor. couples in such a way that when the servomotor moves, this organ is returned towards the neutral position.
This feedback can be set so that the control unit of the [email protected] regulating device is in the neutral position, e.g. B. with a hydraulic, respectively. pneumatic servomotor in, the final position comes as soon as the named device has sufficiently relieved the internal combustion engine. Then the speed is maintained without swinging.
If the relief is already too great, the speed regulator, for example, effects an adjustment of the control element from the neutral position in the sense of a load, namely immediately after the speed begins to increase again. A phase difference of a quarter period no longer occurs.
On the drawing wind four execution examples of the invention schematically Darge provides.
F'ig. 1 shows a generator group driven by an internal combustion engine for a vehicle, in which the field of the generator and thus the load on the engine is controlled by means of a hydraulic Siervo motor with mechanical feedback.
F'ig. 2 illustrates an embodiment with a different mechanical return link.
Fig. 3 shows an embodiment with a coupling between the linkage of the servo motor and the linkage of its slide switch.
Fig. 4 is an embodiment, in tvelchem the servomotor by shifting the control edges of its sighting mechanism causes the return '.
In F3. 1 drives a Breunkraftmaschine 1, a generator 2 and the auxiliary generator 3. The generator 2, which feeds two Tize: bmotoren 4, is excited by the auxiliary generator 3 via the variable resistor 5 with the help of the field winding 6. The speed controller '@ eats Via the sleeve 8, the lever 9, the spring member 11 designed as a naahgiebiger rod part, is connected to the control rod 12 of the fuel pumps 13.
From the sleeve 8, the controller 7 acts via the linkage 9, 10 and 14 on the control slide 15 of the servo motor, the piston 18 of which in turn adjusts the control switch 19 of the resistor 5 to regulate the load on the internal combustion engine 1. The joint 16 on the lever 14 is normally held in place by blocking the plate 20 with the pistons 21 and 22, which are subjected to compressed air, for example, by the electromagnetically operated valve 23.
This valve 23 is controlled by a contact 24 on the spring member 11.
The piston 25, the left side of which is connected to the charging air line (not shown) of the internal combustion engine 1, acts on the fuel control rod 12 via the slide 26 and the slide sleeve 27 of the limiting device for the fuel supply and the lever 28.
The openings 29 and 30 in the slide sleeve 27 control the connection between the lines 31 and 32 which connect the two sides of the liquid-filled cylinder of the blocking piston 33 and in this way influence the movement of this blocking piston and the joint 34 of the lever 17.
The operation of the device shown in Fig. 1 Darge is as follows: In .der position of the controller 7, the engine 1 runs at normal speed, the slide 15 is with the joint 16 firmly held and freivers: cheb Lichem joint 34 in its drawn new.
tral or Final position. The servo motor cooker 18 eats in peace. The limiting device 25, 26, 27 bvinfluences the fuel:
ff-control rod 12 does not and allows the liquid to circulate freely in lines 31 and 32, so that blocking piston 33 can move freely as soon as an occasion arises.
The regulator 7 can act on the fuel pump control rod 12 in a non-positive manner via the spring member 11. As a result, the contact 24 is closed and the electromagnet of the valve 23 is energized, so that compressed air can enter both .Seiten to the blocking piston 21 and 2.2 and this presses on the stops 35 :. As a result, the plate 20 is held with the joint 16 in the position I shown.
If an overload now occurs, which, however, is not so great that the sleeve 27 comes to a stop on the slide 26, the operation of the servomotor piston 18 is exactly the same as in the exemplary embodiments described in the main patent. Since the hinge 34 is freely movable and the hinge point 16 is fixed, the following moves:
the return lever 17 without affecting the slide 15.
If the supercharging pressure now drops very sharply or if the load increases sharply, the organs 26 and 27 move relatively towards one another. As soon as these parts sit on one another, d. H. the limiting device takes effect, the plate 36 in the spring member 11 detaches from the stop 37 and -the contact 24 is opened so that: the electromagnet:
of the valve 23 is de-energized and the joint 16 can move freely because the pistons 21 and 22 are no longer pressurized with compressed air, but:
by the valve moved to the left 2.3 with the ambient air in connection. It is now emerging. a more or less large difference between the power caused by the amount of fuel injected and that caused by the excitation:
of the generator 2 given the same load on the internal combustion engine 1. The speed thus drops sharply, and so does the weight of the controller! 7 go inside. The sleeve 8 thus goes to the right and moves the lower pivot point of the lever 14 to the right via the linkage 9, 10.
Despite the fact that the plate 20 is no longer held, the joint 16 remains before only @d. H. as long as the servomotor piston 18 has not yet been activated, nor the fulcrum of the lever 14. The piston 33 is now held in place because the slide 26 has closed the openings 29 and 30, so that no more liquid is from the line 31 can flow into the line 32.
With the lever 14, the slide 15 thus moves to ec 1 allows pressure medium to enter the right side of the servomotor piston 18 so that: the same goes to the left: the excitation of the generator 2 and, so that the load on the 1VLasehine 1 is reduced and 4a.s:
Joint 16 takes with it. The movement of the pivot point 16 to the left leads the slide 15 against the neutral respectively. Final position back. If the load on the internal combustion mast 1 is not yet sufficient, the sleeve 8 goes even further to the right. The slide 15 moves to the right again, so that further relief occurs.
At a certain position of the servomotor piston 18 and a certain speed, there is a balance between the load and: the power of the internal combustion engine 1, so that no change in speed occurs. It is possible that this speed will not be reached immediately.
It can happen that at the moment, where the slide 15 is in the closing position, the load has already been reduced too much. The internal combustion engine 1 then accelerates, and the valve 15 is now shifted to the left by the controller 7a.us, the final section. There through: the servomotor piston 18 goes to the right and causes an increase in load.
In this way, the balance between performance and load is restored in a very short time.
Stop limiting the fuel supply depending on the charge, i. H. if the organ 26 is lifted from the bushing 2.7, so can. the piston 33 move freely again, and the joint 16 is held again as a result of the renewed excitation of the Ven valve 23. The slide 15 only comes into the final position when the target speed is reached again.
In FIG. 2, the plate 38 with the joint 16 is held elastically yielding in its right end position with the aid of the spring 39. As long as the return lever 17 is not exerting any force, ie. H.
as long as the piston 33 can move freely, the joint 16 is retained. But as soon as the piston 33 is held in the manner described for FIG. 1 and the slide 15 is brought out of the final section, the force of the servo motor 18 outweighs that of the restoring spring, he 39, and the joint 16 moves inward Left.
This resilience of the plate 38 could also be achieved in that, as in FIG. 1, pistons 21 and ?? are provided, the force of which is less than the force exerted by the rod 17 3us!
This restoring effect of the spring 39 is particularly important in connection with the throttle opening 40 in the piston 33 (FIG. 2). If the limiting device 26, 27 is in effect and the openings 29, 30 are closed, then it works when the sight valve 15 is also in the neutral position,
while the joint 16 and the plate 38 are moved from the right end position to the left ver, the back: stealende force of the spring 39 on the piston 33. On the liquid speed to the left of the piston 33, a pressure is exerted, so that liquid passes through the opening 40 from the left to the right space. The piston 33 thus moves very slowly to the left.
The joint 16 then goes to the right and moves the slide 15 out of the closure: stelluno. This is then followed by a relief and a corresponding return of the joint 16 to the left. At the same time goes. also the rod 10 slightly to the left, because in, as a result of the relief, the speed has increased somewhat ge.
This game is repeated until the restoring force of the spring 39 has completely stopped, i.e. H. until the plate 38 has returned to the end position. This is only the case when the target speed is reached again. The throttle opening 40 in the piston 33 in cooperation with the restoring spring 39 therefore has the effect that after some time the target speed is reached again and again and that the maximum possible power occurs with the prevailing boost pressure.
Instead of providing an opening 40 in the piston 33, the openings 29; 30 can be arranged in such a way that they are not yet completely closed when the sleeve 27 is seated on the slide 26.
The openings 29, 30 are expediently designed so that the passage diameter for the liquid does not suddenly go from the maximum to zero or the minimum is changed, but that the transition is gradual. This has the advantage that the regulation is dampened somewhat as soon as the load comes close to the maximum value given by the boost pressure.
While in FIG. 1 the transition from astatic to static operation of the load regulator takes place when the limiting device comes into effect in that one joint 16 is released and another joint 34 of this linkage 9, 14, 17 is held, in FIG. 3, this transition is intended
that in astatic operation a pivot point 42 of the linkage 9, 14 is held, but in static operation with the. Servomotor 18 is coupled and moved. The frame 43 with the coupling 44, 45 is rigidly connected to the joint 42.
As long as the boost pressure is high enough, the stops 46 and 47 of the limiting device are separated from one another and the electrical lines 48 and 49 are not connected to one another, and the frame 43 is held in a central position by the springs 50 and 51.
As soon as the limitation device 46, 47 comes into effect by connecting the lines 48 and 49 to one another, the coupling mechanism pulls; 44 applies to the coupling element 45 against the action of the spring 52, so that the toothing a.m clutch lever 45 engages the toothing on the rod 53.
The joint 42 is thus carried along by the servomotor piston 18 from now on, and the lever 14 serves as a return for the slide 15 exactly as in FIG. 1. When the servomotor piston 18 is moved, the spring 50 or 51, depending on the direction of movement compressed.
As soon as the contacts 46, 47 of the limiting devices open again, the lever 45 is released from the rod 53, and the pivot point 42 is not brought into the position corresponding to normal speed by the restoring force of the springs 50 and 51.
In Fig. 4 the conclusion: position of the slide 15 by means of. one with control edges 61 for dien .Slider 15 vers1.ehenen organs, 62 moved.
In the position shown in FIG. 4, the supercharging pressure is still so great that the limiting device is not effective. The stops 46, 47 are separate, the magnet 56 is de-energized. The lever 57 is attracted by the spring 58, and the teeth 59 on the lever 60 are disengaged from the teeth 63 on the lever 57.
The organ 62 is kept ge by means of the spring 64 in the central position, and @ d'as work of the slide 15, the stervoimotor 18, the control switch 19, etc. is therefore exactly the same as in Fig. 1, when the limiting device is ineffective there.
If the boost pressure now falls below the value that corresponds to the fuel quantity set by the speed regulator 7, the fuel quantity is correspondingly reduced by means of the piston 25 by means of the stops 46, 47 and the lever 28 .
Since the lines 48, 49 are connected, the magnet 56 is excited and pulls the lever 57 down, and the toothing 63 is brought into engagement with the toothing 59.
At the same time, the speed decreases, so that the lever 9 moves with the slide 15 to the right. The slide 15 then allows pressure medium to enter on the right-hand side of the servomotor calf 18. The servomotor piston 18 goes to the left, causes a relief and takes the lever 60 with it.
The latter turns the lever 65 counterclockwise and pulls the organ 62 to the right. When the servomotor piston 18 has moved sufficiently far, the element 62 has come so close to the slide 15 that the pressure medium supply to the servomotor 18 is closed again.
The further course of the discharge respectively. the reloading, when the speed increases again, is the same as in FIG. 1.
Instead of the device 46 to 49, 56 to 59 and 63 of FIG. 4, the device 26, 27 and 29 to 34 of FIG. 1 can of course easily be used. The opening 40 in the piston 33 of FIG. 2 would also achieve the same effect here as in the device according to FIG.
To operate the clutch lever 45 in Fig. 3, the slide 26 with the sleeve 27 and the piston 33 can be made from hig instead of the device 46 to 49 and 44. 1 can be used.
The invention also includes internal combustion engine systems in which the coupling of the servomotor to the organ controlling the fuel supply to it does not take place immediately after the limiting device has come into effect.
