Ski.
Ski. The present invention relates to a ski. It is known to arrange protective edges made of metal or plastic on the longitudinal edges of the ski where the ski cheeks and running surfaces meet. According to the invention, the guide groove is provided with protective edges on at least part of its length on both sides.
In the accompanying drawings, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: FIG. 1 shows a cross section, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the running surface, FIG. 3 shows a side view of an example, FIG. 4 - <B> ') </ B > show variants.
In the drawing, 1 denotes the ski whose I # -ungsrille 2 provided with protective edges 3. ;. These protective edges are expediently made of metal and are embedded in the edges of the protective groove. However, any desired material, especially plastic, can also be used for this purpose. The edges between the running surface and the ski cheeks are also reinforced with protective edges 4 in the embodiment according to FIGS.
These and the protective edges 3 are, if they are made of metal Herge, put together in a known manner from individual short pieces in order to maintain the natural elasticity of the ski if possible. It is between the edges 3 and 4, a protective covering 5, for. B. made of plastic, ironwood or the like. Arranged on the tread. This results in a constant, even and hard running surface.
Instead of the fact that, as described above, two edges are embedded in the ski wood on both sides of the groove, the groove itself can be equipped with a profile strip, e.g. B. made of metal or plastic, lined. 4 shows such a variant in which a semi-tubular metal rail covers the groove and the running surfaces have protective coverings 5. 5 and 6 ″ show other useful profile shapes of protective coverings, namely an angle profile and a U-shaped profile.
Where two or more grooves are seen in skis, individual or all grooves can of course be seen with protective edges.
