Tubular steel seating. Seating furniture in the form of deckchairs made of wood with armrest adjustment device for adjusting the inclination of the backrest are known.
The present invention is a tubular steel chair of this type, which is characterized by a tubular steel frame, which comprises two side support tubes for the seat, front and rear struts and as their connection two tubular parts forming the floor support, as well as a cross tube at the rear end of the seat which pipe parts supporting the backrest are rotatably connected, while pipe parts on which the armrests rest,
are rotatably mounted on the backrest tubes and continuations of the rear struts which extend beyond the seat serve as carriers of locking means for notches provided in the armrest tubes for the purpose of adjusting the backrest.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. It shows: FIG. 1 a side view of the chair, FIG. 2 a front view of the same; 3 shows a partial side view on a larger scale; Fig. 4 is a section on line IV-IV in Fig. 3; Fig. 5 is a section on the line V-V in Fig. 3; 6 and 7 show a detailed variant.
The seating furniture has a tubular steel frame, which has two lateral support tubes 1, two front struts 2, two rear struts 3 and two pipe parts 4 forming the floor support as their connection. All ge named pipe parts are bent with the cross pipe part 1 'from a piece of pipe. Arranged at the rear end of the seat is a cross tube 5, which is fastened with its ends to the rear struts 3 and to the support tubes 1 be.
Pipe parts 7, which support the backrest, are rotatably fastened to this cross pipe by means of pipe clamps 6. On the pipe parts 7, the legs of a bracket forming pipe parts 8, on which the armrests 9 are supported, fastened at 10 rotatably. The protruding over the seat continuations 11 of the rear struts 3 the NEN as a carrier of locking means, are to the sem purpose at their ends at 12 flattened and each provided with a pin 13 that engage in acting as detents holes 14 of the armrest support tubes 8 optionally .
In order to allow the flat ends 12 to enter the interior of the tubes 8, the latter are provided with a longitudinal slot 15. 1 and 3 are respectively in dotted. Dashed lines two different inclined positions of the backrest respectively. the armrest shown, which holes 14 can be achieved by inserting the pin 13 in different Lö. The seat and the backrest are formed by a slatted frame 15 which is fastened to the relevant tubes and is only partially shown in FIGS.
6 and 7 show how the rotatable connection of the backrest tubes 7 can be achieved by means of a fork 16, pivot pin 17 and the compressed end 18 of the tube part 7 engaging in the fork instead of by means of a pipe clamp 6.
