Description
Heckmotorwagen. Bei Heckmotorwagen mit zusammen klappbarem Verdeck, bei denen die Kühlluft durch seitliche Öffnungen eindringt, bereitet der Lufteintritt bei zusammengeklapptem Verdeck Schwierigkeiten. Es ragen nämlich einzelne Teile des Verdecks derart in den Luftstrom hinein, dass dieser stark abgelenkt wird und schlecht in den Motorraum ein dringt.
Erfindungsgemäss soll dieser Übelstand dadurch beseitigt sein, dass bei die seitlichen Öffnungen begrenzenden Klappen das Stell werk der Klappen mit dem Verdeck derart verbunden ist, dass die Klappen beim Zu sammenlegen des Verdecks selbsttätig nach aussen schwenken, um dadurch die Eintritts öffnungen für die Luft zu erweitern.
Die anliegende Zeichnung zeigt ein Aus führungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes in Fig. 1 im Aufriss und in Fig. 2 im Grund riss, teilweise geschnitten. Die an der Seitenwand 2 des Heckmotor raumes mittels Scharniere 8 befestigte Klappe 1 ist durch ein Hebelwerk ausschwenkbar an geordnet. Dieses besteht aus einem an dem festen Zapfen 4 angelenkten zweiarmigen Hebel ä und einem Lenker 6, der mittels eines Gelenkes 7 an der Klappe befestigt ist.
Durch eine Kette 8, ein Seil oder eine Zugstange ist der Hebel 5 mit einem geeig neten Glied, zum Beispiel mittels der Bride 9 mit der Stütze 10 des Verdecks verbunden. Beim Zusammenklappen des Verdecks wird, wie gestrichelt angedeutet, durch den gegen die Kraft der Feder 11 gerichteten Zug der Kette 8 ein Schwenken der Klappe nach aussen bewirkt. Beim Ausbreiten des Ver decks kehrt die Klappe durch die Wirkung der Feder 11 in die ursprüngliche Lage zurück.

According to the invention, this inconvenience is to be eliminated by the fact that in the case of the flaps delimiting the side openings, the interlocking mechanism of the flaps is connected to the top in such a way that the flaps automatically pivot outwards when the top is collapsed, thereby widening the entry openings for the air .
The attached drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in FIG. 1 in elevation and in FIG. 2 in outline, partially in section. This consists of a two-armed lever hinged to the fixed pin 4 and a link 6 which is attached to the flap by means of a joint 7.

When the top is folded up, as indicated by dashed lines, the pull of the chain 8 directed against the force of the spring 11 causes the flap to pivot outward.
