Fig. 1 zeigt das Schema der gesamten Einrichtung.
11116 ausgestattet.
Fig. 1 zeigt nur sechs zeitabhängige Steuerelemente.
Device for time-dependent control of physical quantities. Devices are known for controlling physical quantities as a function of time. These devices have the disadvantage that once a time-dependent function has been set, it can only be changed by exchanging control elements, and that the course of the set function is not readily visible.
The present invention partially avoids these disadvantages. It allows any physical variable, such as temperature, pressure, humidity, current, voltage, power, etc., to be controlled by electrically operated control elements depending on the time according to a certain control function, this function being changeable as required without changing time elements. The set control function is expediently made visible in a diagram (in terms of coordinates, vectors).
The drawing illustrates schematically an embodiment of the subject of the invention in its application for time-dependent control of the electrical power that an electrode boiler is to receive.
Fig. 1 shows the scheme of the entire device.
FIG. 2 shows an example of a power curve as a function of the time. FIG. 3 shows a setting marking by means of time-dependent control elements of the control device for a power-time curve according to FIG.
A (Fig. 1) is a control device by means of which the output can be set as a function of time, that is to say the desired output program. B is a time switch to send a current pulse to device A at regular intervals.
C is a reversible electric drive for actuating an electrode adjustment device E of an electrode boiler F, that is to say a boiler in which means. of the device E Electrodes which can be raised and lowered in a liquid in order to regulate the size of their heating effect. D is a differential relay to control the drive C from the control device A, according to the system of resistance differential regulation known per se.
The Steuervorrich device A has. a number of control elements (control resistors) each with a control contact that can be set as a function of the time, the respective control elements can be switched on one after the other from the timer B, so that the control in successive time periods t2-t ', P-t2 . ,, (Fig. 2) results in a time-controlled power sensible by the diagram shown in Fig. 2.
It is assumed that the required time-dependent power is illustrated by a curve shown in FIG. 2, which is drawn up in a rectangular coordinate system. The curve is assumed to consist of six steps, but it is also possible to use the principle of the circuit by reducing the step intervals and increasing the number of steps to realize any curve.
Corresponding to the six levels of the curve according to Fig. 2 is the control device A of FIG. 1 with six control elements w ', w2 ...
11116 equipped. These control elements consist of variable resistors, the ohmic value of which can be set anywhere between zero and a maximum value by adjusting the control contacts <I> k ', </I> k2 ... <I> kg </I>. The control contacts k 'to k are all electrically connected to each other and connected to terminal 1.
A contact device 3 has corresponding to the six control elements <I> w '</I> to iv' six contacts cl to c ', one of which each with the corresponding control element u,', u, 2 ... zcg in electrical connection stands, so z.
B. c 'with w', c2 with Wz etc. The contact device 3 has a movable contact arm u, which establishes an electrical connection between the slip ring r and, depending on the position of a4, with one of the contacts c 'to e'.
In FIG. 1, arm u is on contact c3, as a result of which control element w 'is connected to terminal 2 via contacts c', u and r.
The ohmic value of each switching element up to w 'is selected by setting the control contacts k' to kg according to the desired power curve, that is to say, for example, according to FIG. The ohmic value zero corresponds to the power zero, the maximum ohmic value corresponds to the maximum power, the intermediate values are proportional to the power.
The movable contact arm u is isolated. mounted on a rotatable shaft 4. A ratchet 5 is also seated on this shaft 4. An electromagnet 6, when excited, pushes its armature 7 upwards against the spring 8 and thereby rotates the shaft 4 with it. the contact arm u, for example, clockwise.
As a result of this movement, the contact arm u is switched from one of the contacts ex to e6 to the following one, in the illustration in FIG. 1, for example, from c 'to c4. When the electromagnet 6 is de-energized, its armature 7 is under the action of the spring 8 in its rest position and the contact arm u stops until a new current pulse is applied to the electromagnet 6.
The timer B is equipped with a contact 12 which is actuated by a cam disk 11. The cam disk 11 is driven via the shaft 10 by a clockwork or a synchronous motor 9. The timer B outputs a current pulse to the electromagnet 7 at regular time intervals t 'to t8.
The circuit runs from phase U of the control circuit via contact 12, electromagnet 6 to phase V of the control circuit. In this example, the actuation of the movable contact arm u of the device A is assumed to be pulsed. But it is also possible, please include u to let the contact arm rotate continuously by having it driven directly by a synchronous motor or the like, the timer B, the electromagnet 6 and the ratchet 5 are eliminated.
The drive C of the electrode adjustment device E has an alternating current motor 13 with a winding 14 for forward running and a winding 15 for reverse running. The motor 13 drives a shaft 16 via gear 19. The movable contact 18 of a variable resistor 17 is coupled to the shaft 16. The adjusting device r of the electrodes of the electrode kettle F is also coupled to the shaft 7 6.
The maximum immersion depth of the electrodes and thus the maximum power consumption of the electrode tank corresponds to the ohmic value zero of the resistor 17, the power zero corresponds to the maximum. Ohm value of 17. The intermediate values of 17, which are tapped by the movable contact arm 18, are proportional to the power.
The differential relay D has two windings 22 and 23 which magnetically control an oscillating armature 24 with its contact 25. The armature 24 is rotatable about its bearing 30. If the influence of the winding 2 predominates because a greater control current flows through it than through the winding 23, the armature 24 is magnetically attracted by the winding 22 and thereby makes electrical contact with its contact 25 with a stationary contact 27. The other way round, if the effect of the winding 23 outweighs that of 22, the armature 24 with its contact 25 with a stationary. Contact 26 Make contact.
If the magnetic influence of the two Wick lungs 22 and 23 on the armature 24 is exactly the same, the armature 24 remains in a neutral position and contact 25 then touches neither contact 26 nor contact 27, but is located in the middle between the two .
The winding 23 of the differential relay D is connected to the phase Tr of the control circuit via an adjustable, but assumed constant resistor 29, the other end of the winding 23 via terminal 28 to the control phase U. The winding 23 is therefore traversed by a constant current , whereby constant voltage on the control circuit is assumed. The winding 22 is at one end via terminal 28 to control phase U, at the other end. Terminal 20 of drive C connected. The current through winding 22 is determined by the ohmic value that the movable contact 18 taps on resistor 17.
Since resistor 17 is connected to terminal 2 of control device A via terminal 21, the control resistor w5, which is switched on via the movable contact arm, is also in the circuit of winding 22 of relay D. The circuit runs from control phase U via terminal 28, winding 22 , Terminal 20, contact 18, resistor 17, terminal 21, terminal 2, slip ring r, movable contact u, contact c3, resistor w3, sliding contact k3, terminal 1 on control phase V.
For example, let the current through winding 22 of relay D be less than through winding 23. Armature 24 is then magnetically attracted by winding 23, and contact 25 touches contact 26. As a result, winding 14 of drive C is connected to phase U. The motor 13 rotates its shaft 16, adjusts the electrodes via the adjustment device E on the electrode tank F, but at the same time also the contact 18. This picks up a smaller ohmic value at the resistor 17.
The motor 13 remains in motion until the ohmic value that is tapped by 18 on resistor 17, together. with the ohm value tapped by k3 to w3, the same amount of current can flow through the winding 22 of the relay D as through the winding 23. Then the armature 24 will again assume its rest position, and contact 25 opens -den; Motor winding circuit 14.
If, on the other hand, the current through winding 22 of relay D were greater than that through winding 23, then winding 15 of drive C would be switched on analogously until the current through winding 22 is the same as that through winding by tapping a larger ohmic value through contact arm 18 23. When the drive C has come to rest as a result of the current balance in the windings 22 and 23 of the relay D, it will only begin to rotate again when, by further switching the contact arm 2c of the control device A, another resistance level, for example w 'in the circuit of the winding 22 is turned on.
The motor 13 then rotates again in one sense or the other, depending on the ohmic value of the contact. k 'on 1t7' taps, is larger or smaller than that of the previous stage. The motor 13 remains in motion until again by turning contact 18 current balance in the windings 22 and 23 it is enough. The same thing is repeated every time the contact arm u of the control device A is switched on, whereby the desired time-dependent control is achieved.
Instead of the circuit mentioned above, the winding 23 of the differential relay D could also be connected to the secondary side of a current transformer, the primary winding of which would have the electrode current of the electrical boiler F flowing through it. The connection of the 'winding 23 to the control circuit L'T' would be omitted, the drive C would be without resistor 17 and arm 18, and the terminals 21 and 20 would be directly connected to each other.
If in this case the electrode current and thus that in the winding 23 of the differential relay z. B. would correspond to less than the line setting on the control device A, the armature 24 would be drawn from the winding 22, whereby the contact 25 with 27 would make contact. The winding 15 of the drive would keep voltage, drive C would rotate and adjust the electrodes until the electrode current would be increased by as much as the power setting at A would correspond.
In order to facilitate the respective setting of the time-dependent function, the control elements w 'to w "are set up in a right-angled coordinate system so that the adjustment contacts k' to kg can move vertically in the direction of the ordinate axis.
The contacts k 'to kg are, as FIG. 3 shows, formed as plates 33 provided with a marking 31, which are visible on a base plate 32 (FIG. 3), which serves as the basis of the coordinate system, and on and on it can be pushed downwards, making contact with the tax resistors on the rear side.
The distance of your marking 31 from the abscissa axis is a measure of the performance. The control resistors w 'to w' are arranged next to each other so that their sequence coincides with the time axis in the direction of the abscissa. The set control function can thus be seen in a right-angled coordinate system. By highlighting the marking strips 33, the control diagram can be made as clear as possible.
The example described above relates to a representation in a right-angled coordinate system. It is also possible to arrange the time-dependent control elements w 'k', w 'k $ ... in such a way that the setting of the function would take place vectorially in a plane according to a circle diagram, the time axis being circular and the control variable to be set radial .
Fig. 1 shows only six time-dependent control elements. For practical applications you will be able to use a larger number as needed, e.g. B. 24 control elements to be able to set a time-dependent function according to the 24 hours of the day.
For better identification of the control element that is switched on, a marking can also be combined with the control device by means of signal lamps, for example to light up the switched-on section of the abscissa axis or the curve.
The device according to FIG. 1 uses adjustable resistors for the time-dependent control, which are switched on in a specific sequence. Instead of these resistors, a contact selector could also be used, which would work together with a roller switch. The resistors W 'to W', as well as the resistor 17 would be omitted here.
The device would work in such a way that, corresponding to the six control stages in FIG. 1, six contact segments of a selector that can be set as a function of the time would also be connected to six contact segments of a roller switch. The roller of the latter would have an insulating layer at one point and the six contacts could be arranged on the circumference of this roller. Depending on the position of the roller, one of the contacts would be interrupted. The roller itself is electrically connected to the contact arm of the contact selector via a control motor and is inevitably adjusted by the moor. If the contact arm is now placed on a specific contact, e.g.
B. on no. 3, the control motor runs until the insulating point on the roller switch interrupts the control current at contact no. The roller of the roller switch therefore tends to run onto the same contact segment on which the voter is standing. So that the roller runs in the required position on the shortest path, it could be divided into two contact halves, one with a forward running,. the other would be connected to a reverse running control motor.
The facilities described can see for the control of any physi cal variable, such as temperature, pressure, humidity, current, voltage, line, etc. train through electrically operated control elements depending on the time after a certain control function.
