Device for assembling two tubular elements. We already know. devices for as seem two tubular elements, in particular -elements of scaffolding, device comprising a main part engaged on the two tubular elements and matching them and a cap which bears on one of the tubular elements.
However, these known devices cannot be assembled and disassembled quickly enough.
The object of the present invention is to avoid this drawback; it relates to a positive assembly dis of the aforesaid type, in which the cap is so connected. removable to hooks from the main room.
The drawing. .Annexé .represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the positive device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevation of the first form.
Fig. 2, is an end view.
Fig. 3, est. a plan view of the hat. The fi-. 4 is an elevation of the second form.
Fig. 5 is a. view, in plan of his skin.
The device shown: in FIGS. 1 to 3 comprises a main part 1 in the form of a U, which engages below the lower tube 3. The branches 21-2z each have at their upper part two hooks 81-82, and they are notched so as to provide a housing 4 for the upper tube 5.
This part 1 is advantageously cut and stamped in a mild steel sheet of 5 mm for example.
A shape 6 which exactly matches the profile of the tubes 3 and 5 is housed between these two tubes and thus prevents any deterioration of one under pressure from the other. This form, preferably made of cast steel, pivots on an axis 15 fixed by two autogenous welding points on the U part 1. A cap 7 with a U-shaped section matches, by its . two branches, the upper tube 5. This cap 7 is advantageously cut and stamped in mild steel sheet, of 5 mm for example.
This cap 7 is connected in an easily removable manner to the part 1 by means of bolts 9, the rods of which engage in elongated openings 1 (1 of this cap 7 and which are screwed, on the other hand, into a cross member 11 which thus forms a nut.
The ends of this cross-member are engaged under the hooks 81-8., Of the part 1. The assembly of this fitting is carried out as follows: Part 1 is engaged below the lower tube 3 and is held in place using screws. blocking 12 which cross the part 1 and. come to press by their ends on the lower tube 3. The form 6 is placed on the. tube 3 and then the tube 5 is placed on it.
The cap 7 is then engaged on the upper tube 5, while the crosspieces 11 are engaged under the hooks 81-8 ,, of the. piece 1.
The bolts 9 are then tightened so as to bring the cap 7 and the part 1 closer to one another, which ensures the clamping of the two tubular elements 3-5 between this cap 7 and the bottom of the part in < B> U 1.
It is easily possible to manufacture both the part 1 and the cap 7 in pressed steel, which makes it possible to obtain light and healthy components, without blowholes or cracks: these components thus giving a guarantee of absolute strength to each device.
In addition, the connection between the two tubes 3 and 5 is obtained using a single assembly, which further simplifies the manufacture and assembly.
The hooks 81-8., Could be directed, rather than towards the outside of part 1 (fig. 1), all four towards the inside of this part, or two towards the outside and two towards inside. In the second embodiment, the cap has a particular arrangement; it is provided at one of its ends with a! articulation pin 13 and at its other end a bolt 9 engaged by its rod in an elongated opening 10 of the cap and screwed into a cross member 11.
This articulation axis 13 and this crosspiece 11 engabeat respectively in the hooks 81 and. 8_ of part 1.
The assembly of the device of FIGS. 6 and. 7 is carried out under conditions quite similar to those already described using fi (z. 1 to 3.
