Fig. 1, linke Seite).
Revolving doors, in particular for railway vehicles and garages. The limitation of the width of the rail vehicles by the construction profile means that the revolving doors have to be placed in deep niches, which have an unfavorable effect on the supporting structure and the space available on the platforms. If the niche is kept less deep, the door leaf (s) in the open state protrudes beyond the construction and even the clearance profile, which must be viewed as a major disadvantage.
A similar disadvantage occurs with garages, the often large and heavy doors swing far beyond the line of the wall; A large forecourt must be kept free, the door leaves themselves are difficult to open and keep open in strong winds.
In sleeping cars, ship cabins, the door leaves are very far into the very narrow aisle or into the small space of the cabin, etc. These disadvantages should up to now be remedied by using special constructions such as sliding doors, folding doors, etc. However, these special designs all have other known disadvantages, especially if only manual operation of the doors is provided.
The present invention is a revolving door, especially for railroad vehicles and garages with at least one door leaf in which at least two door leaf parts are rotatable in the same direction of rotation but around ver sets mutually arranged axes. The door leaf parts are coupled to one another, for example by means of a handlebar, in such a way that the door leaf parts are inevitably stacked when the door leaf is pivoted out into its open position and are set next to one another in a common plane in the closed position.
Through the appropriate selection of the ratio of the width of the door leaf parts, as well as suitable definition of the pivot axes, the required light door width and the permissible overhang in the open state can be largely coordinated with one another. Cases are also conceivable in which two revolving doors are combined according to the invention in order to achieve a very large door opening with a small overhang, e.g. B. garage doors, etc. In this case, the central column is omitted and the two doors close together using known means such as rod locks, etc.
For doors with a maximum clearance of about 50 to 60 cm, a single door leaf with two door leaf parts according to the present invention, ie also without a central column, can be used.
The subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing in an exemplary embodiment, it shows: Fig. 1 a double-leaf revolving door in horizontal section, namely one door leaf is shown in the open position, the other in the closed position; Fig. 2 shows part of the revolving door in elevation.
The revolving door shown has two door wings 1, 2. Each door leaf has two leaf parts 3, 4. The wing part 3 is mounted in the base 8 by means of a lever 5 on the bearing block 6 so as to be rotatable about an axis 7. The door leaf part 4 is mounted in the floor 8 by means of a lever 9 and axis 10. The levers 5 and 9 are extended beyond their axes 7 and 10 and are coupled to each other by a link 11, so that when the door leaf is swung out, the two door leaf parts 3 and 4 inevitably swivel out in the same direction of rotation, the link 11 on the open Door leaf parts are opposite parts of the door line.
The axes of rotation 7 and 10 of the door leaf parts are arranged offset from one another in the radial direction on different sides of the closed door, in such a way that when the door leaf is opened, the two leaf parts 3 and 4 are stacked, ie. H. Come to lie on top of each other, while when closing the door leaf 1, both parts 3, 4 lie in a common closing plane (see FIG. 1, left side). The door leaf parts 3 and 4 could be movably attached to the levers 5 and 9 within small limits so that when they are placed against the post 12, that is, in the closed position, they can be tightly positioned. It can also be provided at a suitable point of the Ge rod springs so that a tight fit of the wing parts against each other and in the door frame is achieved and any play of the door leaf parts is compensated for in their hinges.
In the open position, the door leaf parts are relatively only slightly above the door frame. In vehicles, the lower hinge is advantageously placed under the vehicle floor in order not to hinder getting in and out.
The links 11 could also act directly on the levers 5 and 9 and not on their extensions. The linkage can also be arranged on the ceiling; furthermore, each wing could consist of more than just two parts 3, 4.
As shown in Fig. 1 and 2 by dashed and dotted lines, the two door leaf parts can also be coupled to one another by a link designed as a simple tab 13. The extensions of the He bel 5, 9 and handlebars 11 are omitted in this case. Of course, the tabs 13 can be attached either to the door leaf parts themselves or to the levers 5, 9.
The invention can also be used with advantage in garage doors etc. and wherever there is little space to swing out the wings.
