B. Pumpen, in Verbindung stehen.
Process for heating solid or viscous material and equipment for carrying out this process. The present invention relates to a method for heating solid or viscous material with heat exchange with a (gaseous or liquid gene) circulation medium. It has been found that the heat transfer from such a means to a solid body surrounding it is promoted if the solid body is caused to perform shaking or vibrating movements.
From this experience is made according to the present invention in such a way that the heating of the Ma terials takes place during the advancement of the material on at least one stove, which such a shaking or vibrating movement he shares that it vorschie bend on the material acts while heat transfer takes place between the treated material and a circulation medium, which flows through lines arranged below.
In certain cases, the temperature-regulating agent can have the task of increasing the temperature of the material that is being heated during a stage of the treatment. If a material is heated that has a tendency to stick to the hearth at a low temperature, it may be highly desirable or necessary to heat the hearth or hearths to which the material is moved at low temperature by the means that flows through the pipes or channels and that is heated by itself when passing through other stoves.
When heating several materials, the material burns easily at a higher temperature on the stove, which should be cooled to avoid this. If the treatment is to be carried out at high temperature, or if the material is to be burned, it may also be difficult or impossible to find a suitable stove material that has the required resistance at such a high temperature. In such cases, cooling is of great practical value. If the material is not flammable, heating takes place either by heat transfer from the circulating medium or by hot gases brought into contact with the material.
The shaking and vibration movements are important not only for the heat transfer and the advancement of the material, but also for the fact that the heating becomes livelier due to the mutual change in position of the material particles. In addition, these movements cause an avoidance of irregularities in the thickness of the material layer; a uniform distribution of the material across the herd is obtained.
The heat transfer to the gaseous or liquid circulation medium can be used in several different ways.
The invention can be used advantageously both for heating water, whether this takes place in connection with steam generation or not, as well as for steam formation and also for drying and / or overheating of steam, preferably under a pressure higher than 6 atm ., be used. After the treatment, the steam can be directed to a steam boiler or other apparatus where its heat is used.
When water is heated in connection with the generation of steam, water coming from a steam boiler may be caused to flow under pressure through the pipes or channels. The water can be routed to a steam boiler after heating and, if the water has been supplied from a steam boiler, it can conveniently be returned to the same boiler.
In all cases given here above, water and / or steam are very advantageously conducted from a distribution chamber through two or more pipes to another chamber. In this case, the method according to the invention is expediently used in such a way that, by means of several parallel coupled pipes, as much water and / or steam as possible is made to flow through all pipes.
In several cases it is advantageous that the incineration of the material takes place in two or more stages in such a way that the material, after it has been advanced over a stove or a group of stoves, over one or more stoves or possibly from one higher underlying hearth is led to an underlying hearth. Here, if necessary, the material that has been passed over one or more cookers or groups of cookers through which water and / or steam is passed, on a cooker through which air is passed and preheated there will be completely burned.
The preheated air is expediently used as combustion air in the case of further combustion of other material in the same way to promote the combustion and the heating of the water and / or the steam.
It has generally been shown to be advantageous that the flocks receive a vibration movement with a number of vibrations that is higher than? 00 per minute: In certain cases it is useful to set the number of vibrations 1000 to 1100 or even more.
By using the method according to the invention one also gains the advantage that when burning viscous material slag and fly ash remain in it considerably less degree on the stove than if it were stationary: The method according to the invention can, for. B. can be used advantageously in connection with evaporation and incineration of waste liquor, especially in the cellulose industry and preferably the sulfate cellulose industry.
The invention also relates to a device for performing the inventive method Vorrich, which consists of one or more herds in the form of pipes through which a circulation medium, for. B. water and / or steam, flows, and should receive a shaking or vibrating movement.
The tubes can be arranged at least approximately parallel. Usually, the tubes are given a horizontal or approximately horizontal position, at least in those parts that carry the material. It is advisable to connect the pipes to a steam boiler. In this case, the device according to the invention can advantageously consist of a distributor chamber that is closed to a steam boiler, and a number of longitudinal pipes that are connected at one end to this distributor chamber, and also of a second distributor chamber, to which the other ends of the tubes are closed to exist. The latter distribution chamber is then connected to the same or to another steam boiler.
In order to obtain the most uniform possible distribution of water and / or steam over the various pipes, throttle flanges or other similar organs can be arranged in these constrictions. Such a uniform distribution can also be brought about in several cases by giving the tubes a relatively small cross-section, or by giving them a smaller cross-section for a larger or smaller part of their length.
Since in several cases a part of each tube has the shape of a bend, which represents an elastic connection with a distributor chamber that does not participate in the vibrations, it can be particularly useful that this part of each tube is designed with a smaller cross-section, with larger ones Elasticity of the connec tion is obtained. In order to cause or convey the flow of water and / or steam through the pipes, these can be provided with one or more organs serving this purpose, e.g. B. pumps, are in communication.
The device can be designed in such a way that either one or both distribution chambers are firmly anchored and thus do not take part in the shaking or vibration movement. In this case, the pipes must be connected by means of flexible connections to the inlet for coolant that does not participate in the vibratory movement.
In order to obtain the most advantageous possible shaking or vibrating movement, it is useful that those parts of the device according to the invention, which are to receive such a movement, resiliently supported or resilient, for. B. in springs are suspended. You can have an exclusively elastic suspension and transfer the vibration movement in such a way that all points of the vibrating parts describe a closed curve line. This can e.g.
B. caused by an unbalance of the Eg- zentervorrichtung or on electromagnetic paths. The vibration movement can, however, also have the form of a straight line or some other non-closed line. In addition to the vibratory movement, the herd can also perform another movement, e.g. B. aims at cleaning. For this purpose or for the purpose of uniform distribution of the material, special movable organs can also be arranged.
The water and / or the steam can, as indicated above, be distributed to the various pipes by means of pumps. It is advantageously ensured that the pressure is so much lower than the pressure in the distribution chamber that a sufficiently even distribution takes place under all operating conditions that occur.
On the accompanying drawings, some exemplary embodiments of the device according to the invention are partially illustrated in section. Fig. 1 shows in vertical section a steam boiler combined with a vibrating furnace and Fig. 2 shows another steam boiler construction with a vibrating grate, also in vertical section.
Fig. 8 is a vertical section of a grate oven with vibrating cookers, and Fig. 4 is a section along line 4-4 of Fig. 3. Corresponding parts have the same designations in the different figures.
In the device shown in Fig. 1 Vorrich the furnace consists of par allelic steel pipes 1, which are connected with their ends to chambers 2 and 3. The tubes 1 are resiliently supported by means of springs 4 and 5 and are connected to a vibration apparatus 6, which is also resiliently supported. The tubes 1 thus receive a vibrating movement in vertical planes passing through the longitudinal axes of the tubes. Under the tubes a Ka is most 7 attached, which is provided with an inlet 8 through which, for.
B. by means of a fan, combustion air is introduced, which flows up between the pipes. The material to be treated, e.g. B. a thickened sulphate waste liquor is introduced through the funnel 9 and advanced via the tubes 1 in the direction indicated by an arrow in FIG. 1 by the vibratory movements. Water from the lower boiler 10 is fed through the line 11 via the pump 12 to the distribution chamber 2.
To bring about an even distribution of the water on the pipes 1, the pipe parts 13 connected to the distribution chamber 2 are designed with a smaller cross-section than the pipes 1 themselves. The water then goes through the tubes 1 and the chamber 3 through the line 14 to the upper boiler 15. In the present case, the box 7 takes part in the vibrations, but it can also be placed firmly under the pipes. The chambers 2 and 3 are firmly anchored ver in the embodiment shown, but can also be arranged such that they brieren together with the tubes 1 vi. It is also possible to cause the water to flow forward by self-circulation, whereby the pump 12 becomes superfluous.
The tubes 1 should preferably have a relatively small cross-section, since the elasticity is greater, which is important in the present case because they are firmly connected to the chambers 2 and 3: The elasticity is further increased by the Pipe bends 13 have a smaller cross-section than the pipes 1 themselves.
In the Kesselkon construction shown in Fig. 2, the furnace is carried out in the same way as in un danger as in Fig. 1 from. The chambers 2 and 3 are, however, put ge at the same end portion of the tubes 1 here. These extend from one chamber to the funnel 9, where they are bent over in the form of a bracket, and then go back to the chamber 3, from which the coolant used, water and / or steam, is directed away and used in a suitable manner.
The grate furnace shown in Fig. 3 and 4 be available from a vertical shaft with a rectangular cross-section 40, to which the material to be roasted is fed from above by means of the conveyor 41, from which the material falls over a cover 42 with a counter weight 43. The flocks are formed from pipes 44, which start from two distribution boxes 45, which are brought down in the shaft, one on each of two opposing, vertical shaft walls by the pipes 44 first follow the wall a bit and then lower turned right to this wall and led to the opposite wall, which you then follow for a while,
whereupon they are again bent vertically and returned to the erstgenann th wall, etc. The horizontal pipe sections form the stoves and every other pipe in each stove goes from the same distribution box. The tubes 44 mün in the uppermost part of the shaft in two junction boxes 46; from which the agent which has flowed through the tubes is conducted away through the tubes 47 and 48 and then used for heating purposes. All cookers are thus made up of one and the same pipe system that simultaneously cools the shaft walls.
The flocks lean inward from the shaft walls towards the center of the shaft; the slope can vary so that not all herds have the same slope. The tubes 47 and 48 are provided on their upper part with flan's 49 and enclosed by coil springs 51, which are clamped between the flanges 49 and bars 50, so that the whole pipe system with stoves and Ver distribution boxes is resiliently suspended.
The pipe system is given a shaking or vibrating movement by means of a resiliently supported vibrator 52. The coolant, which advantageously consists of water, is fed to the distribution boxes 45 through the pipe 59.
The material to be treated, e.g. B. pebbles, is fed to the shaft on the conveyor 41 and falls down on the top hearth. As a result of the vibrating movement of the cookers and their alternating opposing inclination, the goods on each cooker are conveyed down the cooker perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the pipes after being placed under the bar. The material is finally diverted away through the outlet 53. Combustion air is supplied through the inlet 54 and furthermore from the pipe 55 through the openings 56 (secondary air) arranged in the shaft wall. In the shaft wall inspection openings 57 are provided.
The roasting gases go out through the fox 58, which is attached below the conveyor 41, so that the goods fed by this are preheated.
