Switchgear and measuring system on motor vehicles. The subject matter of the present invention is a switchgear and measuring system on motor vehicles, which is characterized in that at least the reading devices of the measuring instruments are arranged in the steering element hub.
Figs. 1 to 6 of the accompanying drawing voltage show, for example, Ausführungsfor men of the system according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a valance 1 with the hub 2, on the face of which the switches 3 for the light, 4 for the starter, 5 for the gas, 6 for the choke, 7 for the ignition and 8 for the cigarette lighter are arranged in a circle . The switches are advantageously mounted in recesses 9 so that they do not protrude and you cannot get caught with your sleeve. The reading devices of the measuring instruments are arranged within the switches. 10 is the reading device on the clock, 11 is the odometer, 12 is the oil pressure meter, 13 is the water thermometer and 14 is the fuel level indicator. 15 and 16 are adjustment rings for the odometer and for the clock, respectively. These adjustment rings are fluted.
Fig. 2 shows a system in which no switches are arranged in the hub of the valance. 17 is the tachometer scale with the corresponding Zei @@@ and 18 is the tour counter scale with pointer \ The display devices 19 of the oil pressure meter, 20 of the water thermometer, 21 of the gasoline level indicator and 22 of the ammeter each occupy one quadrant of the same circle. 23 and 24 are the dials and hands of the clock. 25 are the odometer scales. 26 and 27 are again adjustment rings for the clock and the odometer.
In the system according to FIG. 3, the reading devices 28 of the oil pressure indicator, 29 of the fuel level indicator, 30 of the thermometer for the water and 31 of the clock are present in the hub.
In a further system according to FIG. 4, 32 are the reading devices of the tachometer, 33 of the tour counter, 34 of the gasoline level indicator, 35 of the ammeter, 36 of the thermometer for the water, 37 of the oil pressure indicator and 38 of the clock.
Fig. 5 shows a system in which 39 mean the Ableseeinrichturig the oil pressure indicator, 40 of the thermometer for the water, 41 of the ammeter, 42 of the gasoline standan pointer, 43 of the clock and 44 of the tachometer.
Fig. 6 shows a system with the reading devices 45 of the ammeter, 46 of the gasoline level indicator, 47 of the water thermometer, 48 of the oil pressure meter, 49 of the oil thermometer, 50 of the water level indicator, 51 of the speedometer, 52 of the clock and 53 of the trip counter Hub.
To adjust the clock and odometer, instead of the adjusting rings, adjusting screws could be provided that sit in the hub.
These examples are intended to show how the individual reading devices of the measuring instruments and the Sehalter of the system can be arranged in the valance hub. Any number of other combinations are of course possible. For example, a radio scale and reading device for the oil level in the engine and the water level in the radiator could also be attached. A clear cover slip can also be placed over the hub so that it can be used as a Klaxon button. The structural design and the routing of the supplies from the measuring instruments to their reading devices in the hub can be achieved with known means.
The invention also includes switchgear and measuring systems on motorcycles, in which the reading devices are mounted in the handlebar hub.
