Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     ehromhaltigen        Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen wert  vollen neuen chromhaltigen Farbstoff er  hält, wenn man     4-Nitro-2-aminophenol-6-sul-          fonsäure    mit     Salicylaldehyd    umsetzt und die  entstehende     Azomethinverbindung    mit einem  chromabgebenden     Mittel    behandelt.  



  Man kann dabei sowohl bei gewöhnlichem  als auch bei erhöhtem Druck arbeiten.  



  Der neue Farbstoff kann zum Beispiel  zum Färben von Lacken, Wolle, Seide, Leder,  Baumwolle oder     Kunstseide    verwendet wer  den. Er ist auch zum Färben in saurem  Bade     geeignet.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Zu einem siedenden Gemisch von 23,4       Teilen        4-Nitro-2-aminophenol-6-sulfonsäure,     28 Teilen kristallisiertem     Natriumacetat,    12,2  Teilen     Salicylaldehyd        und    200 Teilen Was  ser gibt man eine     Chromformiatlösung,    die  aus 37,2 Teilen eines     24,5prozentigen    Chrom  ogydteiges, 19 Teilen 85prozentiger Ameisen  säure und 100 Teilen Wasser hergestellt ist.

    Nach etwa     dreistündigem    Kochen unter         Rückfluss    wird die Lösung eingedampft.     Man     kann auch die erhaltene     Verbindung    aus  salzen, absaugen und trocknen.  



  Der Farbstoff entsteht auch, wenn man  das     Umsetzungsgemisch    2     Stunden    lang auf  120' C erhitzt. Er färbt Wolle, Seide oder  Leder gleichmässig und echt in gelben Tönen.  



  An Stelle von     Chromformiat    kann man  auch andere Chromsalze anwenden.

  <I> Example: </I> A chromium formate solution is added to a boiling mixture of 23.4 parts of 4-nitro-2-aminophenol-6-sulfonic acid, 28 parts of crystallized sodium acetate, 12.2 parts of salicylaldehyde and 200 parts of water, which is made from 37.2 parts of a 24.5 percent chromium ogydteiges, 19 parts of 85 percent formic acid and 100 parts of water.

    After refluxing for about three hours, the solution is evaporated. The compound obtained can also be salted, filtered off with suction and dried.



  The dye is also formed when the reaction mixture is heated at 120 ° C. for 2 hours. It dyes wool, silk or leather evenly and genuinely in yellow tones.



  Instead of chromium formate, other chromium salts can also be used.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zür Herstellung eines neuen chromhaltigen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, dass man 4-Nitro-2-aminophenol-6- sulfonsäure mit- Salicylaldehyd umsetzt und die entstehende Azomethinverbindung mit einem chromabgebenden Mittel behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff färbt Lacke, Wolle, Seide oder Leder gleichmässig und echt in gelben Tönen.
