Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Gemisches isomerer Octaliydrofollikeihormondiacetate. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Virfahren zur Darstellung eines Gemisches isomerer Octahydrofollikelhormondiacetate, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man Dihydrofollikelhormondiacetat mit einem hydrierenden Mittel unter Bedingungen be handelt, bei denen der Benzolkern hydriert wird.
Man bedient sich zu diesem Zwecke bei spielsweise der für die Hydrierung aroma tischer Verbindungen gebräuchlichen Ver fahren, insbesondere katalytischer Methoden. Man kann die Hydrierung unter Verwen dung von Schwermetallkatalysatoren, wie z. B. Nickel mit verschiedenen Zusätzen (Chrom, Kupfer, Mangan) bei erhöhtem Druck oder aber in Gegenwart von Edel- metallkatalysatoren bei Atmosphärendruck durchführen.
Das neue Produkt ist ein helles, konsi stentes Harz, das als Arzneimittel Verwen dung finden soll.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 500 mg Dihydrofollikelhormondiacetat werden mit 150 cm' Cyclohexanol und 500 mg eines vorreduzierten Nickel-Chrom- Katalysators bei 100 Atm. und<B>180'</B> in einem Rührautoklaven hydriert. Nach be endigter Wasserstoffaufnahme wird die Reaktionslösung durch Filtration vom Kata lysator befreit und im Vakuum zur Trockne abgedampft.
Als Rückstand hinterbleibt ein helles, konsistentes Harz, das aus einem Ge misch verschiedener isomerer Octahydro- follikelhormondiacetate besteht.
