Installation of foot pedals to bring about various star effects. The invention relates to a device on foot pedals for bringing about various dener control effects, in particular for automobiles, which are characterized by controls that are operated by rotation of the foot on the pedal position independently of the pedal, for the purpose of using the foot pedal and these controls from each other to be able to bring about independent control effects, for example on the carburetor, dimming switch, direction indicator, horn switch and the like.
The accompanying drawing represents Ausfüh approximately examples of the subject of the invention.
1 is a view of a device in which the carburetor is controlled via a Bowden cable by rotating the foot on the brake pedal; FIG. 2 shows an embodiment in which the dimming switch is controlled by a rotary movement of the foot on the clutch pedal via a flexible shaft; FIG. 3 shows a gear transmission arranged on the device according to FIG. 2 under the footplate;
Fig. 4 shows a device in wel cher by rotating the foot to the left and to the right control effects are brought about each separate switches; 5 is a schematic illustration of the left and right rotational movement of the foot; 6 shows a device in which the rotational movement of the foot is picked up by a sensor rail arranged on the side of the pedal; Fig. 7 is an illustration of a device with feeler rails on both sides of the pedal;
8 shows a device in which the rotational movement of the foot is picked up by a sensor plate arranged to the side of the pedal and translated by scissors; 9 shows a further device in which the rotational movement: of the foot is removed from a sensor rail; Fig. 10 is a representation of a device in which the sensor rail and the scissors are mounted on the floor board;
Fig. 11 shows a device with pedal turntable and sensor rail in plan view; FIG. 12 shows the device according to FIG. 11 in side view, with the pedal depressed and with the pedal released.
According to Fig. 1, a plate a is attached to the pedal. The plate b lying thereon can be rotated about the bolt c. At d a Bowden cable is attached to plate b. e is an extension adapted to the shoe and movably connected to plate b at f. If: the foot and thus the plate b rotates, the cable of the Bowden cable is pulled out over the curve g and the throttle valve attached to the front end of the cable is opened. When the foot is turned back, the spring j pulls the throttle valve back against a stop.
By turning the foot more or less, the throttle valve can thus be controlled independently of the pedal position.
According to Fig. 2 to d, a gear z 'is attached to the lower side of the footplate b, which is in engagement with the gear a'. The gear a 'is connected to the flexible shaft k. The springs 1 and 1 pull the footplate back into the neutral position.
According to Fig. 4, flexible cables are present on the device, which use the rotary movement .des foot on the pedal to the left and to the right to operate a separate switch, independently of the other.
According to Fig. 6, a sensor rail n, which forms a plate n 'under the floor board and is rotatable at p, is arranged next to the Pe dal.
When the foot is turned, the rail n, which extends over the entire length of the pedal path, decreases its movement and passes it on to the lever o, which is deflected on the sensor plate n1 and rotatably mounted at q, on which the equipment to be controlled is connected.
After Fing. 7 n is again a sensor rail, which is rotatably mounted at q. At the end of the lever r, which is under the floor board, the turning movement of the foot is removed to the left. If the foot is turned to the right, the hydraulic pump is actuated and thus an apparatus connected to the pump is controlled. It can be seen "that independent control effects are brought about by deflecting the foot to the left and right.
According to Fig. 8, the sensor plate u is connected by means of the hinge v to the holder t . In order to translate the movement of the foot, a translation scissors is installed between the sensor plate z4 and the holder t, from which the movement is recorded at x. The spring y opens the scissors against a stop.
According to FIG. 9, the rotational movement of the foot is picked up by a sensor rail in which the joint and the scissors are arranged under the floor board, while according to FIG. 10 the joint and scissors are located above the floor.
According to FIGS. 11 and 12, a 'is the footplate which is rotatable about the axis bl. e is the extension. n 'is the sensor rail which is rotatable on axis d'.
If the pedal is depressed or released, the heel of the shoe slides along the sensor rail n '. When twisting the foot in any pedal position, the sensor rail n 'takes the rotational movement of the foot and passes this on to the rail c', to which the desired apparatus is connected via scissors.
