Draft distribution and control device in combustion systems. Provisions for regulating the flow of the hot gases in the smoke duct of fire engines are known. These devices, which have flaps or similar devices, allow the flow to be throttled, but the hot gases are displaced to certain points in the smoke duct so that, for example, uniform heating of a hotplate built into the flue is not possible.
The subject matter of the present invention is a draft distribution and control device in the flue of firing systems, in which distribution of the hot air flow is achieved by throttling the hot air flow. According to the invention, the device has a throttle and distributing element which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis, extends over the entire width of the flue (smoke channel) and is provided with flow openings.
The accompanying drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the subject of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 a side view of the same, FIG. 2- a further side view with parts displaced in relation to one another, and FIG. 3 a cross section along the line AB of Fig. 2.
The illustrated device has a comb-like toothed plate 1, which sits two horizontal stub axles 3 be, each of which in a bearing 4 respectively. 5 is pivotably mounted. In the bottom of the fire receiving the device, on which the bearings 4 and 5 be fastened and against which. the plate 1 can be folded over, a recess is expediently provided in which the plate with its teeth BEZW. Gaps fits exactly into it so that soot that has stuck to the plate is stripped off when it is inserted.
To rotate the plate 1, a rotary handle 2 is provided, which is attached to one of the journal 3. Centrally screwed in the plate 1 Iiopfsciirauben, which protrude through slots 7 of a further plate 6, the same is attached to the plate 1 and displaceable bar. The same is also serrated in a comb-like manner, yvie the plate 1. Middle of a tie rod 8, which passes through the one hollow stub axle 3 and which carries a control button 9, the plate 6 can be displaced with respect to the plate 1 in the horizontal direction Teeth of the plate 6 more or less close the gaps in the plate 1.
The width of the gaps respectively. Teeth of the two plates increases from the center of the same towards both ends. This is how it is achieved. that the hot gases are distributed almost evenly over the entire cross-section of the flue, in which the friction of the gases on the walls is compensated for by the larger passage cross-section at the ends of the panels.
By means of the device described, it is thus possible to throttle the fire gases by pivoting the plates 1 and 6 and by adjusting the same in relation to each other and at the same time to achieve a distribution of the gases over the cross section due to the passage gaps.
Instead of the liiieken shown or in addition to them, slots or round bores can be provided in the plates. The plate 1 can also be used on its own without the plate 6.
