Locking device, especially on windows or doors. The present invention relates to a locking device, in particular on windows or doors. It aims at a professional, indestructible construction a quick, absolutely hermetic closure of a wing-like. Closure body, e.g. B. a window or door leaf.
According to the invention slidably arranged on the wing, cooperating with a central organ locking arms are seen, the ends of which when the central organ is actuated at the same time laterally over the wing edge and in the stop frame fixedly arranged abutments, which are designed so that when a the ends of the locking arms enter the same sash frame at several points firmly pressed against a sealant located on the frame and thus the sash is hermetically sealed.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is shown, and it shows: FIG. 1 the device on a steel door in the closed state, FIG. 2 the view of one of the Sehliess- arms in the closed state, partly in section and on a larger scale.
1 denotes the wing filling, for example a steel door on which a central member 3 which is guided in stationary bearings 2 and 2a and movable in the longitudinal direction is arranged. On this central organ 3 formed as a shaft, transverse tabs 4 and 4 '"are fixedly arranged, at the ends of which a locking arm 5, likewise designed as a rod, is articulated. These locking arms 5 are fixed in place on the wing panel 1 at their free ends attached guide bearings 6, which in turn are close to the wing edge.
With 7 on the impact frame 9 stationary abutment designated which are suitable for receiving the free end of a locking arm 5 and are arranged for this purpose so that their axes coincide with the bearing axes of the guide bearing 6 when the wing is closed and close next the latter lie. 8 represents a handle on the central organ 3 to move the same. With 10 (Fig. 2) a frame 9 is arranged on the stop, the entire frame circumference along leading sealant referred to.
The operating principle of the locking device is as follows: When the wing is open, the closing arms 5 together with the central organ 3 each form acute angles (see dash-dotted line in FIG. 1), and the free ends of the closing arms 5 do not protrude beyond the edge of the wing.
But as soon as the central organ 3 is pulled upwards, the ends of the closing arms 5 inevitably slide outwards, step over the wing edge and into the abutment 7 by sliding up over their curved surfaces. This has the effect that the sash frame is pressed very strongly against the sealing means 10, in several places at the same time, so that the whole sash is absolutely hermetically sealed. In the drawing, four locking arms and thus four locking points are indicated.
It could also be over more or less than four; it is only essential that they inevitably interact with the central organ. The closing arms are expediently arranged in such a way that two arms each are attached to a tab and that when the wing is closed they form a right angle with the central organ. In the case of large wings, the central organ could also be actuated mechanically, for example by means of a lever or gear system.
In order to prevent the central organ from making a greater distance than required, there is advantageously on the central organ (not shown in the drawing) an adjusting ring that rests on one of the bearings 2 or 2 1. Furthermore, again most advantageously on the central organ, a pawl can be provided which holds it in the closed position (not shown for the sake of clarity).
Thanks to the design of the lock, it is possible that, according to the toggle lever action between the central and closing organ; as well as the toggle action on the abutments, an intensive pressing of the wing against the sealant can be achieved with little force, at several points on the wing circumference at the same time, so that a wing can be hermetically sealed within a few hours. The simplicity of the construction not only guarantees readiness at all times, it also guarantees the greatest solidity, as there are no sensitive parts.
So that the wing can yield in the direction of the pressure of the locking arms (in the drawing) on the hinges, the hinge sleeves are oval in cross section.
