L'objet de la présente invention est un jeu de football pour salons, cafés, etc., com prenant des tiges porte-palettes, mobiles au tour de leur axe et destinées à se renvoyer une balle. Ce jeu est caractérisé en ce que chaque tige est montée sur un bâti du jeu, de façon à pouvoir coulisser perpendiculairement à l'axe de ladite tige.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention.
La fig. 1 en est une élévation, les fig. 2 et 3 en sont des coupes par II-II, respecti vement par III-III; les fig. 4 et 5 montrent des détails et les fig. 6 et 7 deux variantes de détail.
Le jeu représenté comprend une table à quatre pieds l., sur l'un des côtés de laquelle est monté, par une charnière 2, un bâti rec tangulaire 3, portant huit tiges transversales 4. Chaque extrémité de chaque tige peut cou lisser dans une rainure 5 pratiquée sur l'un des côtés du bâti et s'appuie, par son bout, contre une plaque métallique 6, sur laquelle elle glisse avec un minimum de frottement; sur chaque tige peut coulisser, parallèlement à son axe, un manchon 7 portant une ou plu sieurs palettes 8 ayant la forme d'un joueur de football et destinées à coopérer avec une balle 9 qu'il faut essayer d'envoyer dans l'un des goals 10, disposés aux extrémités du jeu.
Chaque manchon 7 porte un organe de préhension 11 qui, lorsqu'on le saisit à la main, permet à la fois de déplacer le man chon le long de la tige et de faire coulisser cette dernière, perpendiculairement à son axe, sur le bâti; chaque palette possède ainsi, grâce à ces deux mouvements, un grand champ d'action et l'on évite, d'autre part, grâce au manchon, que la tige, pendant ses mouvements, ne fasse saillie hors du jeu, comme c'est le cas dans certaines construc tions existantes, où la tige se déplace suivant son axe.

A cet effet, chaque râteau 12 peut se mou voir verticalement dans des glissières du bâti et porte à sa partie inférieure, deux montants 13 s'appuyant chacun sur un levier 14, pivoté en 14a, soumis à l'action d'un ressort de rap pel 15 et relié par une tige 16 à un autre levier 17, pivoté en 17a; l'extrémité de gauche de ce levier 17 est placée sous la dépendance d'un dispositif à prépaiement 18, d'un genre connu et qui ne sera pas décrit plus en dé tail; les ressorts 15 maintiennent les râteaux 12 en position d'enclenchement; lorsque l'on veut jouer, on engage une pièce de monnaie dans la fente 19 du dispositif à prépaiement, puis l'on tire sur le bouton 20;
ce mouvement de traction a pour effet de remonter, pour une durée déterminée, de 10 minutes, par exemple, le mécanisme d'horlogerie du dispo sitif à prépaiement; lorsqu'on lâche le bouton, un organe 21 dudit dispositif fait saillie hors du carter de celui-ci et pousse un levier 22 qui agit à son tour sur le levier 17; celui-ci tourne de droite à gauche, en fig. 3 et 4, et fait tourner dans le même sens les leviers 14, ce qui permet au râteau 12 de descendre et de libérer les tiges 4; on peut alors jouer; au bout des dix minutes, le mécanisme d'hor logerie s'arrête, l'organe 21 rentre dans le carter et les ressorts 15 ramènent les râteaux dans leur position d'enclenchement.
Comme on peut le voir en fig. 1, la pièce de monnaie engagée dans la fente 19 de l'appareil à pré- paiement ne disparaît pas immédiatement dans celui-ci; elle reste visible sous une glace avec les trois autres pièces qui ont été enga gées précédemment et ne fait que pousser de vant elle ces trois pièces; c'est la première de celle-ci qui tombe dans l'appareil et produit le déclenchement.
Entre les tiges 4 sont tendus, sous le tapis 23, des fils ou ficelles 24 produisant, entre les tiges 4, de petites élévations empêchant à la balle de rester immobile à un endroit où elle ne pourrait pas être atteinte par les pa lettes.
Chaque goal 10 est formé d'un plancher 10a, disposé un peu au-dessous de la surface du jeu, de façon qu'une fois la balle dans le goal, elle ne puisse en ressortir et d'une pa roi arrière 10b faisant un angle de moins de 90 avec le plancher, de façon à renvoyer contre celui-ci la balle.
25 est un rideau pouvant s'enrouler au tour d'un tambour 26 soumis à l'action d'un ressort de rappel, rideau que l'on peut tirer à l'encontre de ce ressort et tendre sur le jeu comme montré en traits-points dans la fig. 3. Ce rideau pourrait être remplacé par un volet à éléments articulés, comme il en existe dans les meubles américains, ou par un couver cle rigide, ce qui permettrait d'employer le jeu comme table. Pour atteindre ce résultat, on pourrait aussi monter le bâti 3 sur la table 1; de façon que ce bâti puisse être retourné sens dessus dessous, son fond rigide faisant alors office de table.
Enfin, à chaque extrémité du jeu, on peut prévoir un dispositif pour marquer les coups, comprenant, par exemple, un coulisseau por tant les chiffres de 0 à 10, chiffres qui peu vent apparaître successivement dans une fe nêtre pratiquée, par exemple, dans la paroi arrière 10b du goal.
Ce dispositif pourrait aussi comprendre, comme montré en fig. 6, une tringle 27 montée dans le goal et suppor tant des bras rotatifs et fous 28; normale ment, ces bras pendent dans la .position verti cale en traits-pleins; à chaque goal,<B>-</B>on dé place l'un de ces bras dans la position hori zontale en traits pointillés, où son extrémité repose sur la paroi arrière du goal; on pour rait aussi prévoir dans le goal (fig. 7) un support 29 présentant des trous verticaux 30 dans chacun desquels peut coulisser, à frot tement, un piston 31; au début du jeu, tous les pistons sont enfoncés dans leurs trous et à chaque goal on en tire un dehors.
La fig. 5 montre comment chaque pa lette est fixée sur son manchon 7; la palette présente une rainure semi-circulaire 32 dans laquelle passe le manchon 7 ; ce dernier et la palette sont fixés l'un à l'autre par une bride 3 3 et deux vis 34.
