Toy in the form of an airplane. The subject of the present invention is a toy in the form of an airplane, which is characterized by the fact that it has a motor and a storage container formed by the aircraft body and containing a pressurized medium, the motor being driven by the medium flowing to it from the storage container . This medium can be formed by compressed air, aze tylene gas or any compressed steam, ground, and the motor can be both a piston engine and a notation engine.
The accompanying drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an overall picture of the example, Fig. 2 is a vertical section through the Mo gate and Fig. 3 is a cross section. In the embodiment shown, the fuselage 1 of the aircraft body is designed as a storage container. It is made of three tinplate tube pieces 4, 5 and 6 soldered together, the front part 4 being pointed, the cylindrical middle part 5 carrying the stands 2 and 3 for the screw shaft 7 and the piston motor 8 and a double bearing support 9 for a handlebar 10, while the rear part 6 receives the supports 11 for the wings 7.2 and the control surfaces 13.
The cylinder 14 of the piston engine is open at the bottom and soldered to the stator 3 and has an upper base 15 with a gas inlet channel 16 which bends into the hollow stator 3 and can be closed by a ball valve 17. The valve rod 18 of this valve is connected to a small, stored in the stator 3 Len ker 19, which sits a nose 2.0 be, which is actuated by a cam 23 seated on the screw shaft 7. The stand 3 stands astride the handlebars 10 with two legs communicating with the storage container. The stands 2 and 3 are intended to increase the storage capacity of the trunk with their cavities.
A thin, between the valve rod guide 21 and the handlebar 19 switched spring 22 seeks to keep the valve 17 closed. The piston 24 is aasgelenken by a dop pelte, formed from two sheet metal strips 25 to the handlebar 12 and has a cone valve 26 in its center, the rod 27 protrudes between the ge called sheet metal strips down and a light spring 36 carries which the valve 26 always seeks to close.
A wire spring 28 fixed on the stand 3 serves as a stop for the valve rod on the downward stroke of the piston and thereby opens the valve for the gas outlet. A helical spring 29 seated on the part 5 serves as a buffer element for the control arm 10. The control arm 10, which is extended beyond the connection of the piston rod, carries a universal joint piece 30 on which the connecting rod 32 formed by a wire and connected to a crank 31 of the screw shaft 7 connected. At the front end of the shaft 7, the two-wing screw 33 is firmly seated.
A valve connector 34 provided under the middle part 5 allows the aircraft body to be filled with compressed air using a hand pump. This compressed air is filled up to a pressure of 5 to 6 atmospheres and then easily results in a flight distance of about 100 meters for the toy. To start the engine, you only need to turn the blades once with your finger.
With the exception of the cylinder head, which can be a piece of light metal, all parts of the toy described are formed from sheet metal or wire.
The mode of operation of the engine is as follows: In the state of rest, the piston 24 is in its upper position, as shown, and both its valve 26 and valve 17 are closed so that the pressurized gases from the body 1 do not enter the Motor can flow. If the screw 33 is turned with the finger, the cam 23 opens the valve 17, the gases enter the cylinder, whereupon the valve 17 closes and the expanding gases push the piston into a low position, where the spring of the valve 26 opens and lets the gases flow out while it is rising again.
Shortly before the piston has reached its uppermost position, the cam 23 has opened the valve again, whereupon the described play is renewed again.
