  Handgerät zum Schneiden von Brot und dergleichen.    Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich  auf ein Handgerät zum Schneiden von Brot       lind    dergleichen.  



  Bei ihm sind sowohl Messer, als auch  dessen Profil     quer,    also schräg oder recht  winklig zum Handgriff gerichtet. Das Mes  ser ist nur beiderseits befestigt unter     Belas-          sung    eines mittleren Spaltes, so dass beim  Gebrauch des Gerätes durch Ziehen     gleicb-          mä.ssig    dünne Brotscheiben und     dergleichen     rasch und gefahrlos geschnitten werden  können.  



  Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der  Zeichnung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel  veranschaulicht, und zwar zeigt:       Fig.    1 eine Ansicht von oben,       Fig.    2 eine Ansicht von unten und       Fig.    3 einen Längsschnitt desselben.  Der Handgriff A geht vorn in eine Ver  breiterung über, die vorn beidseitig je einen  schräg abgeschnittenen Vorsprung D trägt,  auf welchen das Messer     B        mittelst    Schrau  ben befestigt ist.

   Innerhalb dieser Vor  sprünge ist ein sich gegen die Schneide hin  verjüngender Spalt C freigelassen, der je-         weils    .ein ungehindertes Passieren der       Tranche    gestattet, wenn das Gerät unter  leichtem Druck über das     Schneidgut    hin  weggezogen wird.  



  Sowohl das Messer als auch dessen Pro  fil könnten statt schräg auch senkrecht zum  Handgriff gerichtet sein.  



  Das Messer könnte auch     nachstellbar    be  festigt sein, indem zum Beispiel die     genaus-          ten    Schrauben durch Schlitze des Messers       hindurchgehen.

The handle A goes into a widening at the front, which carries an obliquely cut projection D on both sides, on which the knife B is fastened by means of screws.

   Within these projections, a gap C which tapers towards the cutting edge is left free, which in each case allows unhindered passage of the tranche when the device is pulled away over the material to be cut under slight pressure.



  Both the knife and its profile could be directed perpendicular to the handle instead of oblique.



  The knife could also be fastened in an adjustable manner, for example by the precise screws going through the slots of the knife.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Handgerät zum Schneiden von Brot und dergleichen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass so wohl das Messer, als auch dessen Profil quer zum Handgriff gerichtet sind und erstere nur beiderseits befestigt ist unter Belassung eines Spaltes, der bei Gebrauch des Gerätes durch Ziehen desselben ein Hindurchlasses der abgeschnittenen Tranchen gestattet. UNTERANSPRUCH: Gerät nach Patentanspruch, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass das Messer nachstellbar ist.
