Liquid-controlled fuel valve for internal combustion engines. The invention relates to a liquid-controlled fuel valve for internal combustion engines, in particular those with airless introduction of the fuel, in which a membrane seals the fuel space. To increase the elasticity, the membrane has a wavy cross-section according to the invention and, at the highest fuel pressure, lies against a support surface that prevents a certain deformation of the membrane from being exceeded and the stresses arising in the membrane from reaching unacceptable values. The stroke of the valve spindle is limited, for example, by the parts of the contact surface that come into contact last.
But a separate stop can be arranged to limit Hubbe, which acts on the needle or an intermediate member. The waves of the membrane can be concentric circles or run in a spiral. The parts of the bearing surfaces corresponding to these waves can be arranged to be adjustable, for example provided with a thread, so that a position of the deflection of the plate is possible, please include. The support surface can for example be formed by concentric plates or Zylin countries that are adjustable independently of the voneinan. A one-part or multi-part support surface can also be arranged on the fuel side in order to precisely determine the movement of the diaphragm when relieving the pressure chamber.
The mem brane can also have different wall thicknesses. The diaphragm can exert the valve loading in whole or in part.
The drawing relates to Ausführungsbei games of the invention. According to _ Fig. 1, the valve needle 3 is guided in the central bore 5 of the valve housing 1 by means of its lugs 4, ground tightly in the valve housing 1 on the seat 6 and thus closes the fuel space 7 between the needle 3 and the bore 5 against the cylinder . When the needle is opened by the fuel pressure, the fuel flows through the nozzle 2 into the cylinder.
The fuel chamber 7 is closed off on the outside by the membrane 10 with an undulating line-shaped cross section, which is pressed in the middle by the nut 9 onto the collar 8 of the valve needle 3. The outer edge 11 of the membrane presses the edge of the cover 12 tightly against a corresponding bearing surface in the valve housing. The needle load is supplied by a spring 16 which presses on the needle 3 by means of the spring plate 21. The spring tension can be changed by the washers 17. The stroke is limited by sitting the spring plate 21 on a screw 20 which is secured by the lock nut 19 against turning ge. The spring chamber is not shown in connection with the atmosphere.
If fuel now enters the upper part of the fuel chamber 15 under pressure through the connection 13 and the bore 14, the membrane bends until it gradually rests on the bearing surface 18 of the cover 12. Inevitably with the movement of the membrane 10, that of the needle 3 goes.
Fig. 2 shows a membrane plate 10 with concentric corrugations; Fig. 3 shows a diaphragm plate with a spiral wave; Fig. 4 shows another connection of the needle 3 with the membrane 10; the needle 3 is screwed into the hub 22 of the membrane 10 is. The force of the spring is transmitted through the plunger 21 to the hub 22 of the membrane. According to FIG. 5, the needle 3 is welded to the branch 10 and the plunger 21 acts directly on the needle 3; Fig. 6 shows a support surface 18, wel che for the membrane 10 (only indicated schematically) results in a constant stress.
