Wetter- und Kotschutzvorrichtung für 3iotorradfahrer. Die Motorradfahrer leiden bei Wetterun bilden speziell an den untern Extremitäten. Man kann sich allerdings in der Weise be helfen, dass man besondere wasserdichte Klei der anzieht, solche befriedigen aber nicht vollkommen, da sie meist nicht nur teuer sind, sondern auch in beschmutztem Zustande nur umständlich abgezogen werden können.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun eine Wetter- und Kotschutzvorrich tung für Motorradfahrer, welche derart aus gebildet sein kann, dass sie verhältnismässig billig zu stehen kommt, und an den Bein partien einen guten Schutz gewährleistet. Gemäss der Erfindung ist ein wasserdicht imprägniertes Stoffstück mit Beinstücken ver sehen, an deren untern Enden Sohlen be festigt sind, die Mittel zum Befestigen an den Fussaufstellkörpern des Motorrades auf weisen. Am Übergang des Stoffstückes zu den Beinstücken ist eine Ausnehmung vor gesehen, welche im Gebrauchszustande zur Aufnahme des Benzinreservoirs dient.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt, und es zeigt Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht, Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie I-II der Fig. 1, Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht; Fig. 4 eine Unteransicht, und Fig. 5 ein Anwendungsbeispiel.
1 stellt ein wasserdicht imprägniertes Stoffstück dar, welches untenseits mit zwei Beinstücken 2 versehen ist. Die freien Rän der des Stoffstückes und der Beinstücke sind mit, als Verstärkung dienenden Umlegungen 3 versehen. Am Übergang des Stoffstückes zu den Beinstücken ist eine Ausnehmung 4 angebracht, deren Randseiten Ledereinfassun gen 5 besitzen. Die untern Enden der Bein stücke sind an den, die Haltestücke bilden den Ledersohlen 6 befestigt. Die Ledersohlen sind vorn abgerundet und die an diesen be festigten Beinstücke erstrecken sich an den einander zugekehrten Seiten bis zu den hin- tern Endteilen.
Die äussern Seiten der Bein stücke reichen dagegen nur bis zum Mittel teil der Ledersohlen. Hinten sind an den Ledersohlen Schnallenriemen 7 angeordnet, welche zur Befestigung dienen. Die Schnallen riemen sind mittelst Nieten 8 auf den Leder sohlen drehbar befestigt, so dass dieselben je nachdem eine Befestigung an einer Längs- oder Querstange unter dem Fussaufstellkörper des Motorrades erfolgen soll, entsprechend gestellt werden können. Die Ledersohlen sind an der Unterseite noch durch Nieten 9 fest gelegte Metallstäbe 10 beschlagen, um eine Verbiegung derselben zu verhindern. Die dem Stoffstück 1 zugekehrte obere Seite der Aus nehmung 4 besitzt einen rundlichen Aus schnitt 11.
Beim Gebrauch legt mau das Stoffstück 1 über das Motorrad wie die Fig. 5 zeigt, wobei in der Ausnehmung 4 das Benzinre servoir 12 liegt. In dem Ausschnitt 11 befin det sich dabei das obere Rahmenrohr 13. Die Ledersohlen 6 liegen unter den Tritt brettern 14 und sind durch die Schnallen riemen 7 an dem Stangenstück 15 befestigt. Die Beinstücke nehmen dabei eine gewölbte Form ein, deren geschlossene Teile vorn liegen. Das Stoffstück 1 und die Beinstücke 2 decken dabei den Motorradfahrer an den untern Extremitäten nach vorn hin gut ab, so dass beim Fahren eine Beschmutzung durch Kot und Benässung bei Regen normalerweise ausgeschlossen ist. Ferner ist zugleich noch ein guter Wind- und Kälteschutz geschaffen.
Der Motorradfahrer wird durch die dargestellte Schutzvorrichtung in keiner Weise gehindert, bei eventuellen Stürzen ist man Verletzungen durch Schürfungen weniger stark ausgesetzt. Der Motorradfahrer kann, wenn am Ziel an gekommen sofort absteigen, ohne sich beson derer Beinkleider entledigen zu müssen.
