La fig. 1 est une vue de face du dévi doir dans le sens des flèches 1-1 de la fi . 3b ) La fig. 9- montre le détail d'un bras, de face et de profil; La fig. 3 est une vue de profil du dév loir pourvu de soli frein; La fig. 4 eat une coupe verticale selon la ligne 4-4 de la fig. 3, à plus grande échelle; La fig. 5 est une coupe horizontale selon la ligne5-5 de la fig. 1;
Extendable dispenser for unwinding hanks. The object of the present invention is an expandable metal reel for unloading the hanks, characterized in that it comprises flexible arms shaped in the form of d (: fork at their free end, which are articulated at their other end on a perforated central disc and pass through holes drilled in a rim fitting the disc and movable with gentle friction with respect to it, in such a way that by this movement one varies the inclination of the arms of the reel with respect to the spokes of the disc on which are the joints tions of said arms and hence the radius of the reel.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a front view of the deflector in the direction of arrows 1-1 of the fi. 3b) Fig. 9- shows the detail of an arm, from the front and in profile; Fig. 3 is a side view of the reel provided with a brake soli; Fig. 4 is a vertical section along line 4-4 of FIG. 3, on a larger scale; Fig. 5 is a horizontal section along the line 5-5 of FIG. 1;
Fig.6 shows a hinge pin (the arms, Fig. 7 shows a variant of the unwinder arm.
The device consists of a perforated cc disc, allowing it to be well held in the hand, a rim b rotating on the disc a with gentle friction and which is operated by holding it by the tightening button c (fig. 3) to make him describe a rotational movement.
Towards the periphery of the disc a and at a suitable distance from its center are riveted or screwed hinge pins for the end e in the form of a cold-rolled eye, arms f of the reel, which are, therefore, articulated on the disc a .. These arms are shaped as a fork v at the free end.
The rim b is drilled with round or preferably elongated holes g, with the necessary play so that the arms f can play and easily take their inclination relative to the spokes of the disc a on which the articulation pins d are located.
From the folded position shown in FIG. 1, the rotation of the rim b in the direction of the arrow h brings the branches f to the substantially radial position f (mixed line), which corresponds at most great development of the arms and maximum extension of the de- sluice, the development of the arms taking place in the direction of arrow z (fig. 1).
A return spring i, attached from one end to the disc a and the other to the rim b, can be added in certain cases, to constantly tend to bring the arms f towards the greatest development of the reel (position f ').
The arms f, the number of which can be increased or decreased at will, will preferably be placed (as shown in fig. 3) alternately on either side of the disc a, on each of its faces, in this way. will increase the stroke and extensibility of the wire feeder.
The holes g are then drilled on either side of the disc a.
The riveted axes do not form any protrusion hindering the passage of the arms. However, for the hanks that do not require a large variation in diameter, the arms could be formed (fig. 7) of two parallel branches j, j ', passing on either side of the disc a and crossing the rim b by two holes placed opposite but on either side of the disc a.
The end of the branch j is, for example, bent and threaded and the other I have an eye e 'coming to be threaded on the bent part and held by a nut ii ..
A knurled screw c, screwed into an internal boss k of the rim b (come from the foundry with it or attached to it), allows by its tightening on the disc a to block the rim with respect to the disc at any point of their respective race, the wise bos k of the rim b being, of course, split with a groove l for the passage of the disc. .
The locking screw c could also be placed on the outer rim of the rim b.
Finally, a brake m tightening on the shaft 7a of the reel, can be adjusted while the device is in operation and makes it possible to adjust the tension of the thread with the greatest precision.
This brake comprises a flat steel spring m bent in the form of tweezers and fixed on a rod p resting on one of the supports q of the shaft ri of the reel, preventing the res sort m from rotating. A leather r goes around the shaft n and it is fixed by the clamping screw s provided with a square s' preventing it from turning; a knurled knob t allows tightening as required.
The edges m 'of the spring m are arched according to the diameter of the shaft 7t and prevent the leather 2 from deviating.
The arrangement and simplicity of this apparatus will give it great advantages; lightness, solidity, given by the arrangement of the rim b.
This extra light machine will be of great service to the unwinding of silk, cotton, wool, etc. ; due to its very large development, it takes all the skeins from the smallest to the largest diameter. This reel being adjusted once and for all to the measurement of a skein, no longer needs to be operated. The great flexibility of the arms allows the implementation of the skein and it is always perfectly stretched.
For its construction, use all materials that are deemed necessary; the shapes, dimensions and detail arrangements may vary without departing from the geijeral spirit of the present patent.
