Bracelet de longueur réglable. L'objet de l'invention est un bracelet de longueur réglable.
Il comporte, comme d'autres bracelets connus de longueur réglable, un lien souple ouvert dont les deux extrémités peuvent être déplacées à volonté l'une par rapport à l'autre pour faire varier la longuenr du bracelet et. sont maintenues à la position relative choisie, par un fermoir. Mais il s'en distingue par le fait que ce dernier pré sente un logement, qui reçoit l'une des par ties du lien et oû elle peut coulisser, ainsi qu'un organe de serrage solidaire de l'autre partie du lien et pouvant pivoter par rap port au logement de manière à occuper deux positions à l'une desquelles il permet le libre coulissement de la partie correspon dante dans le logement, tandis qu'à l'autre il immobilise cette partie dans ledit loge ment.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du brace let, constituée par un bracelet-montre. La fig. 1 en est une vue d'ensemble; Les fig. 2 et 3 sont des coupes longitu dinales et transversales du fermoir.
La forme d'exécution ci-dessus comporte une montre a munie de deux anses b, c dans chacune desquelles passe un cordonnet d respectivement e, en cuir par exemple, dont les deux brins sont accolés et sont re liés à leurs extrémités libres par une pièce métallique<I>f</I> respectivement<I>g.</I> Les deux cordonnets d, e constituent le lien du bra celet et sont reliés l'un à l'autre par le fermoir métallique à serrage h.
Ce dernier présente une gouttière rectiligne i dont le fond présente une ouverture r et dans la quelle coulissent les deux brins accolés du cordonnet d ; ses ailes portent en-regard de l'ouverture<I>r</I> un axe transversal<I>j</I> sur le quel pivote un organe de serrage k ayant la forme d'un<B>L</B> ; la courte branche m de cet organe sert à exercer une pression assez forte sur ce cordonnet d, quand on rabat sa longue branche n sur celui-ci ; cette longue branche n est venue de fabrication avec la pièce g reliant les deux brins du cordonnet e. Une traverse j relie les deux joues x, de la gouttière à l'une des extrémités de celle ci, à une certaine distance du fond, pour bien maintenir le cordonnnet d.
Sur le cordonnet e est placé un coulant y présentant un bouton z destiné à être logé dans une ouverture iv de la pièce<I>f</I> pour-maintenir l'extrémité libre du cordon net cl.
Des coulants v, <I>u</I> embrassent les deux brins des cordonnets d, e dans le voisinage des anses b, c.
On se sert comme suit de ce bracelet ; Pour le mettre en place sur le poignet on sépare la pièce f du bouton z du cou lant<I>y,</I> on donne à la branche n de l'organe k une position sensiblement perpendiculaire à la gouttière ï, ce qui libère le cordonnet <I>d,</I> puis on pousse le fermoir<I>h</I> vers cette pièce f, de façon que le lien du bracelet ait une longueur maximum ou à peu près.
On enfile le bracelet sur le bras, puis de la main libre, on déplace le fermoir h, de la droite vers la gauche sur le cordonnet d jusqu'à ce que ledit lien ait la longueur réduite voulue, on fait pivoter la branche n de l'organe k de 90 par rapport à la gouttière, ce qui immobilise le cordonnet d à la position qu'on lui a donnée par rap port à celle-ci, et on introduit le bouton z du coulant y, amené à la position voulue, dans l'ouverture av de la pièce f, pour em pêcher que l'extrémité libre de d rie pende disgracieusement.
Si l'on désire enlever le bracelet du poi gnet, on amène de nouveau l'organe k à la position où sa branche n libère le cordonnet d, puis on déplace le fermoir h sur celui-ci jusqu'à ce que le lien ait la grande longueur voulue.
Il ne se produit aucun coincement du cordonnet<I>d</I> dans la gouttière<I>i,</I> dans l'un et l'autre cas, ce qui permet d'effectuer le déplacement du fermoir h sans difficulté à l'aide d'une seule main.
Le fermoir peut avoir une autre disposi tion. La matière dont le lien - qui peut avoir la forme d'un ruban - est fait peut différer de celle qui a été indiquée et être par exemple une matière textile ou une matière métallique.
Le bracelet peut ne pas comporter de montre.
