Description
Kühlvorrichtung, insbesondere für rotierende Wellen. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kühlvorrich tung, insbesondere für rotierende Wellen und besteht darin, dass zwischen der Welle und einer dieselbe einhüllenden, als Körper für sich ausgebildeten, mit der Welle rotierenden Büchse mindestens ein Hohlraum vorgesehen ist, welcher zur Zirkulation eines die Küh lung der Welle bewirkenden Mittels einge richtet ist. Der Hohlraum kann durch kamm- förmige Ausbildung der Welle in mehrere, gegebenenfalls untereinander in Verbindung stehende Teilräume unterteilt sein.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs gegenstandes ist auf der Zeichnung anhand einer eine heisse Flüssigkeit fördernden Pumpe schematisch dargestellt.
Auf der rotierenden Welle 1 ist das Laufrad 2 befestigt, welches im Gehäuse 3 der Pumpe umläuft. Ein Ringraum 4 der Stopfbüchse 5 steht durch einen Kanal 6 mit einer Kühlmittelleitung in Verbindung. Die Brille 7 der Stopfbüchse enthält ausser einer Vorstopfbüchse 8, welche durch eine Überwurfmutter 9 abgeschlossen ist, einen Ringraum 10, welcher mit der Ableitung 11 für das Kühlmittel in Verbindung;steht. Über die Welle 1 ist eine-äals gärper für sich ausgebildete Büchse 12 gezogen, die mit der Welle rotiert. Durch die Kämme 13 und 14 der Pumpenwelle werden Hohlräume 15, 16 und 17 gebildet.
Das durch den Kanal 6 eingeführte Kühl mittel' strömt aus dem Ringraum 4 durch die Öffnung 18, die Laterne 19 und die Öff nung 20 in den Hohlraum 15, von dort durch die Öffnungen 21 in-den Hohlraum 16 und aus dem letzteren zum Teil durch Öffnungen 22 in den Hohlraum 17, zum Teil durch den Ringraum 10 in die Ableitung 11. Insoweit das durch den Spalt 23 eindringende Wasser bis zur Laterne 19 gelangt, wird es durch das Kühlmittel aufgenommen.
Durch die Anordnungseines oder mehrerer Hohlräume zwischen der Welle und der sie umschliessenden Büchse wird die Temperatur der Welle derart beein$usst, dass sie bei Stopfbüchsen für die yAbdichtung und bei Lagern für die Schmierung am günstig sten ist.

The cavity can be subdivided into a plurality of sub-spaces that may be connected to one another by means of a comb-shaped design of the shaft.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically on the drawing using a pump conveying a hot liquid.
On the rotating shaft 1, the impeller 2 is attached, which rotates in the housing 3 of the pump. An annular space 4 of the stuffing box 5 is connected to a coolant line through a channel 6. The gland 7 of the stuffing box contains, in addition to a pre-stuffing box 8, which is closed by a union nut 9, an annular space 10 which is connected to the discharge line 11 for the coolant. Over the shaft 1 a-äals gärper for itself trained sleeve 12 is drawn, which rotates with the shaft. Cavities 15, 16 and 17 are formed by the combs 13 and 14 of the pump shaft.
The introduced through the channel 6 cooling medium 'flows from the annular space 4 through the opening 18, the lantern 19 and the opening 20 in the cavity 15, from there through the openings 21 into the cavity 16 and from the latter in part Openings 22 in the cavity 17, partly through the annular space 10 into the discharge line 11. To the extent that the water penetrating through the gap 23 reaches the lantern 19, it is absorbed by the coolant.
By arranging one or more cavities between the shaft and the bushing surrounding it, the temperature of the shaft is influenced in such a way that it is most favorable for sealing in stuffing boxes and for lubrication in bearings.
