Vorrichtung an Schirmen, um das Umdrehen derselben durch Wind zu verhüten. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung an Regen- und Sonnenschirmen, um das Umdrehen derselben; durch Wind zu verhüten.
Bei den jetzigen bekannten Schirmen be steht das Schirmgestell aus mehreren langen Hauptstreben, worauf der Stoff befestigt ist und welche den Zweck haben, dem Schirm die Form zu geben, und aus kurzen Hilfs streben,, welche auf der einen; Seite in der Mitte der Hauptstreben und auf der andern Seite an einem längs des Stockes verschieb baren Schieberring angelenkt sind. Die kurzen Hilfsstreben haben den Zweck, den Schirm zu öffnen und zu schliessen, und die nen zu gleicher Zeit als Versteifung des auf gespannten Schirmes.
Der äussere Teil der langen) Hauptstreben, das heisst von der Mitte an, wo die kurzen, Streben befestigt sind, bis zu den äussern Spitzen, weist ausser dem Stoff keinerlei Ver strebungen oder Versteifungen auf.
Bei starkem Wind kommt es häufig vor, dass die äussern Enden der Hauptstreben zu wenig Halt haben und nach aussen umbiegen, wodurch der Schirmgewöhnlich in Mitleiden schaft gezogen wird.
Zweck vorliegender Erfindung ist, diesem Übelstand abzuhelfen.
Auf beiliegender Zeichnung sind in den Fig. 1, 2 und 3 Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfindungsgegenstandes schematisch darge stellt.
Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 ist das äussere Ende der Hauptstrebe 1 mit der Hilfsstrebe 2 vermittelst einer biegsamen Strebe 3 verbunden. Damit beim Öffnen und Schliessen des Schirmes diese Strebe 3 nicht aus dem Schirm heraushängen kann, ist sie an der Hauptstrebe 1 mittelst einer Zusatz strebe 4 aufgehängt, welche beim geschlos senen Schirm die Strebe <B>31</B> zurückhält" wie dies im rechten Teil der Fig. 3 gezeigt ist.
Fig. 2 zeigt eine biegsame Strebe 5, welche das äussere :Ende der Hauptstrebe,1 mit der Hilfsstrebe 2 verbindet, die jedoch, zweifach geknickt ist. Es greift in jedem Knickpunkt eine Zusatzstrebe 6 bezw. 7 an, wobei die Zusatzstrebe 6 die Strebe 5 mit der Hauptstrebe 1, die Zusatzstrebe 7 die Strebe 5 mit der Hilfsstrebe 2 verbindet, so dass die Strebe 5 möglichst nahe unter dem Schirm festgehalten wird. Im linken Teil von Fig. 3 ist diese Ausführungsform in geschlossenem Zustande gezeigt.
Die Streben können aus kräftigem Eisen aden, Kordel oder nichtrostender flexibler Metallitze bestehen, welche mittelst Klam mern oder Ösen mit den Haupt- oder Hilfs streben verbunden sein könnem Es brauchen nicht alle Hauptstreben mit ihren zugehörigen Hilfsstreben vermittelst einer biegsamen Strebe verbunden zu sein, sondern es genügt, dass dies für die Mehr zahl zutrifft.
