Radabheber. Das Abheben der Räder von gewöhnlichen Wagen zwecks Schmierung der Achse erfolgt mittelst Böcke, durch welche die Achse hoch gehoben wird, so dass das Rad abgezogen und die Achse zwecks Schmierung freigelegt werden kann. ,Diese Arbeitsweise ist natur gemäss umständlich und infolgedessen auch teuer.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Instru inent zum Abheben der Wagenräder von den Achsen. Das Instrument besteht aus einer Gabel mit aufwärts gebogenen Zinken.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungs gegenstand in einem Ausführungsbeispiel sche matisch dargestellt.
Es zeigt dasselbe: Fig. 1 in Aufsicht, Fig. 2 in Seitenansicht, Fig. 3 und 4 in seiner Gebrauchsstellung in Verbindung mit einem Rad.
Der Radabheber besteht aus einer Gabel mit. dem Stiel a und den Zinken b. Der Stiel a dient als Handgriff und ist ausserdem mit einem Fusstritt<I>d</I> versehen. Die Zinken<I>b</I> sind kreisförmig gebogen, auf der Unterseite gezahnt und' durch einen Bügel c mit ein wärts gedrückten Schenkeln versteift.
Die Wirkungsweise des Radabhebers ist folgende Die Zi ken b der Gabel werden unter das Rad geschoben entsprechend Fig. 3, das Rad wird also von den Gabelzinken unter fasst. Darauf drückt man den Gabelstiel a von Hand abwärts, so dass die Gabelzinken b sich heben. Das Rad l gleitet dann auf den Gabelzinken b seitwärts ab (Fig. 4). Die Achse wird also freigelegt und kann ge schmiert werden. Zur bequemeren Handhabung der Gabel dient der Fusstritt d, auf welchen der Fuss gesetzt wird, --damit der Gabelstiel nicht von Hand bis auf den Boden gedrückt werden muss.
Jedes Wagenrad kann mittelst der- ge schilderten Vorrichtung, unabhängig von seiner besonderen Formgebung, insbesondere unab hängig von seiner Breite und von seinem Umfang, von der Achse abgezogen werden. Nach erfolgter Schmierung der Achse wird der Radabheber, nachdem er bis an das Gabelkreuz unter das Rad geschoben ist (Fig. 4), mittelst des Handgriffes a gehoben, so dar das Rad auf der Achse zurückgleitet und die Achsmutter wieder aufgeschraubt werden kann. Ein Ausgleiten der Gabel, .insbesondere auf lockerem Boden, wird durch die untere Zahnung der Gabelzinken vermieden.

The wheel lifter consists of a fork with. the handle a and the prongs b. The handle a serves as a handle and is also provided with a footstep <I> d </I>. The prongs <I> b </I> are curved in a circle, serrated on the underside and stiffened by a bracket c with legs pressed downwards.

Each wagon wheel can be removed from the axle by means of the device described, regardless of its particular shape, in particular regardless of its width and its circumference. After the axle has been lubricated, the wheel lifter is lifted by means of the handle a, after it is pushed up to the fork cross under the wheel (Fig. 4), so that the wheel slides back on the axle and the axle nut can be screwed on again. Slipping of the fork, especially on loose ground, is prevented by the lower teeth of the fork prongs.
