Zweitaktmotor.
Two-stroke engine. The present invention relates to a two-stroke engine with supercharging, in which not only the scavenging and charge air but also the supercharging air passes through slots in the working cylinder and in wel chem means are provided through which the exhaust of the combustion gases in the expansion stroke of the piston the air inlet lines are prevented and, during the compression stroke of the piston, the escape of the air introduced into the cylinder through the exhaust slots is at least inhibited.
According to the invention, the charging air flows through an automatic inlet element into the working cylinder, while the introduction of the higher-tension charged air subsequently flowing in is controlled by a controlled inlet element. The device can be made so that air can get into the working cylinder through the flushing slots without having to pass a special inlet element. Purge, charge and supercharging air can enter the working cylinder through the same slots.
In the drawing, an execution example of the subject invention is Darge provides. The cylinder 1 of an engine operating according to the two-stroke process, all the air is fed through the slots 2 and 3 to. Cooling spaces 5 are arranged in the cover 4 and in the cylinder 1. The exhaust of the combustion gases takes place through the outlet slots 6 in the exhaust line 19, in which a throttle valve 20 is arranged. Low voltage air is promoted through the inlet line 7 into the air tank 8 ge. Air passes through the flushing slots 3 from the container 8 into the working space 9 without passing through a special inlet element.
In the air tank 8, an automatically opening and closing inlet member 10 is arranged, through which air from this tank passes through the slots 2 into the working space 9 of the cylinder.
The inlet member 10 is designed as a plate valve. In the valve body, which is composed of different parts, valve plates 11 are arranged through which the openings 12 serving for the passage of air are only opened when the pressure in the air tank 8 is above that in space 13. This prevents the exhaust gases from flowing into the inlet line 7 when the slots 2 are covered by the piston 18.
From the line 14, the higher GE tensioned charge air is pressed through the slots 2 into the working chamber 9 of the cylinder. Between the line 14 and the space 13 is on a spindle 15 a valve 16 that is under the influence of a control cam 17 and controls the entry of the supercharging air into the working cylinder. The controlled valve 16 is opened later than the controlled organ 10.
As soon as higher-pressure supercharging air enters the space 13, the valve plates 11 are pressed onto the openings 12 in the inlet member 10, thus preventing the supercharging air from flowing over into the inlet line 7. The end of the charge is determined by the working piston. If the slots 2 are covered by the piston 18, the valve 16 slowly closes. When the slits 2 are covered again when the piston descends, towards the end of the expansion, the controlled valve 16 remains closed and the plates 11 are pressed onto their seats by the pressure in the space 13.
An overflow of exhaust gases from the inlet member 10 into the air tank 8 is therefore excluded. As soon as the piston 18 has covered the exhaust slots 6 and the combustion gases flow out, the pressure in space 13 also falls. Under the pressure of the air in the container 8, the plates 11 of the inlet element 10 being controlled are lifted and the air flows through the openings 12 in the space 13 and through the slots 2 in the .Arbeitsraum 9 of the cylinder. The entry of air through the slots 3 begins as soon as they are covered.
When the piston moves upwards, the escape of the charging air introduced into the cylinder through the exhaust slits is inhibited by means of the throttle valve 20, which causes a stagnation of the exhaust gases either continuously or only during the purging and charging period. Also the exhaust ports from the piston are in front of the slots'? covered.
