Pumping equipment for wells, boreholes and the like. The invention relates to a pump device for wells, boreholes and the like, which has a pump working under water and directly connected to an electric motor, and it consists in the fact that the pump set in a pipe can be adjusted to any height and that the Pump directly into this pipe.
promotes, and even causes the seal between the suction and pressure chamber of the pipe. As a result of the adjustability of the pump set, the same can be used without any changes in its design for the most varied of suction mirror positions. This ensures that the pump, which is always under water, starts up safely without the need for topping up when starting.
In the accompanying drawing, an execution of a well pump according to the invention using a centrifugal pump is illustrated in a vertical longitudinal section, for example.
1 denotes a pipe embedded in the ground, into which the water has access from below. In this tube, a pump set consisting of a drive electric motor 2 and a centrifugal pump 3 is installed, which is carried by a cover 4 closing off the tube 1 at the top, on which it is suspended by means of a rope 5.
This rope can, if necessary, be made variable in length so that the pump set 2, 3 in the pipe 1 can be adjusted to any height. 6 denotes a cable that is needed for feeding the motor 2 to drive. Current serves. The pump 3 has a suction basket 7, an impeller 8; a diffuser channel 9 and a choke coil 10, which is used in conjunction with channels 11 to compensate for the axial thrust of the pump.
The pump 3 promotes directly into the pipe 1, the seal between the suction chamber 12 and the pressure chamber 13 of this pipe by the pump - itself is effected by being provided with a resilient device 14 which is attached to the inner wall of the pipe 1 adjoins tightly, but in no way adversely affects the possibility of setting the pump saddle 2, 3 in the pipe 1. The seal 14 has an annular recess 15 to which the pressurized water has access.
Since the pipe 1 is closed at the top, the pressure chamber 13 serves at the same time as an air vessel, with check valves 16 preventing the overflow of water from the pressure chamber 13 into the suction chamber 12 when the pump is not running. In the room 13 protrudes to the consumption line 17 ruled out senes pipe 18, which almost reaches down to the pump 3. 19 is. a pipe through which air or a gas is introduced or discharged.
The pump 3 can also be carried out in several stages. In order to facilitate the sealing of the motor 2 against possible water ingress, the space 20 between the pump 3 and motor 2 can be connected to the channels 11, as illustrated, and through these on the other hand to the suction chamber 12.
If desired, an extension piece or, if necessary, a special, extended container, also serving as an air chamber, can be provided outside the tube 1 in order to obtain a larger storage space.
In addition to pumps for wells, the invention can also be used for borehole pumps and the like.
